Teenage me lived in central London and could not wait to leave.

I did the same and loved it. But I wish that I had gone to work in Italy or Spain for a few years.

I went to an International School in Switzerland. I loved it. Best place to be a teenager, IMO

Watchingpaintdrying · 06/11/2023 23:33

Canada. Went on holiday and loved it so much I never wanted to leave.

Bluemountai · 07/11/2023 07:20

Somewhere near the sea or mountains and sunny: Spain, Portugal or Switzerland. Definitely in Europe.

Adult me moved to London and still here but miss the sun and do not like winter.

Kids: oldest teenager would say London, she loves it here; youngest teenager would say Australia.

Needmorelego · 07/11/2023 08:09

I wanted to live in suburban New Jersey and go to a "Junior High" school.
Thanks to much reading of Judy Blume/Paula Danziger books.
Don't want to live there now but I would love to do a road trip type holiday to NJ one day.

jay55 · 07/11/2023 09:39

Teenage me probably Seattle as grunge was at its height.

I was living this life. AMA, LOL.

Oganesson118 · 07/11/2023 11:42

Turkey, Cyprus or Israel. I was really interested in Middle Eastern history. Still am.

I couldn’t stand all the silly girls in my year who wanted to live in the US because they were obsessed with Buffy/Roswell High/Dawsons Creek

Ha ha
I used to read all those Sweet Valley High books and dream of being the PK ( popular kid) at an American High school i

Needmorelego · 07/11/2023 12:22

@OVienna sooo.....was it like the Judy Blume etc books? Everyone's parents getting divorced? Carrying school books under arms and lockers. Cheerleaders etc? So much teen angst?
@Lampzade I didn't want to live in Sweet Valley because they had an earthquake once and that's scary 😂

windmill26 · 07/11/2023 15:06

Teenage me NY , adult me LA or Miami.

bert3400 · 07/11/2023 17:54

We have a DS15, we live in a busy coastal town in Spain . My son has a great life, certainly much better than if we had stayed in the UK . When he's 18 that may change and I suspect he will want to move back to the UK, but right now it's perfect.

bert3400 · 07/11/2023 17:55

Sorry didn't read the post properly 😂

PolarBearHugs · 07/11/2023 17:58

America as would my teenage children now

Ormally · 07/11/2023 18:00

Austria. Also in the mountains with amazing food and sunshine. And 4 years later, older me did.

alwaysthinkingaboutfood31 · 07/11/2023 18:01

Italy, and I made it happen!

PaperBlinds · 07/11/2023 18:04

France, specifically Paris, specifically the Left Bank. But its a bookish fantasy.
