Curious really, as I'm in Asia and Australasia rather than the UK this summer and missing my Primark and Sainsburys raids .

Planning kids pants, socks , lunchboxes, some Lego for Chrimbo .
Cream of tartar.
Coffee beans that aren't yucky and/or hugely expensive like in Qatar .

I'm in California, so completely spoilt for food, and most consumables, frankly. But I did ask a friend to bring some Waitrose biscuits when she visited. And a copy of the Saturday Guardian Smile
I think I miss charity shops more than anything.

LastAnni,

YES i love a good charity shop! & car boots!! The expat children's charity here organise a car boot every month during the winter here however I gave up going as it was always people selling a load of tat!! Sad

Will be stocking up on Waitrose ginger biscuits and Primark stockings, and eating my weight in Wensleydale with cranberry. And doing a huge Boots shop. 5 days until we go!

We literally brough boxes of the stuff! We're in CA so lots of great wine but the rose just isn't a patch on proper French stuff

Although I did also bring out half of M&S lingerie section. And kids aquafresh toothpaste. And rich tea biscuits

I'm just back from my trip home and had to use an extra suitcase for the following:

Mitchum Roll On
M&S Undies
Bedlinen from TK Maxx
Pillows from TK Maxx
Vitamins and Supplements from Costco that cost a fortune here
Cards from M&S for £1/£2 each - I picked up about 20 to do all sorts of different occasions for the next 4/5 months as cards are about £6 here each!
Clothes from the summer sales that I will be able to wear pretty much all year here.
Ribbon from Costco to wrap Christmas presents - its so cheap and lovely and makes your presents look very posh :-)
A couple of bits of make up as it also costs a fortune here
Knorr Stock pots
Books from Amazon that weigh a tonne but I don’t care!
Paracetamol at 10% of the price here
Zinc Sunscreen that I found on Amazon
Shampoo and Conditioner
Face Wash and Moisturiser from Neals Yard
Ecover biological washing liquid and Dettol Laundry Cleanser (That all weighed about 6kg alone Blush

Oh and a litre bottle of Tanquerey from £13 in Duty Free!

I'm already pulling together my list for when my Mum and her friends come out at the end of October. First on the list is Christmas Cards.

Less than two weeks back and viral ready had to do an Internet shop to my brother to send over to me

3x Roald Dahl books (American published ones have the wrong words and wrong spellings)
Matilda the Musical soundtrack (same issue, can only get Broadway cast recordings here)
Aquafresh toothpaste for children (got home and realised we'd run out!)
