Hello!!! Well we've landed just got the pc connected up so can now hopefully talk and catch up with all sydney mums and all you guys still waiting to arrive.
Living in Heathcote Sutherlandshire. all the tribe signed up for scools,nursery etc. Container has arrived and passed customs stuff arrives this wed for the past 6 weeks have been camping in our house!

No Bloss, I'm in Derby uk Actually, its good here really, but I do miss home - especially reading your mentions of my beloved North Shore! I grew up in Neutral Bay and thn lived in Lane Cove. My DH grew up in Chatswood.

We plan to leave here in 18 months, travel for 6 months, then back to Australia - hopefully Sydney, but it will depend on DHs work.

Ah well, Bloss. I don't think Winchester was meant to be. I know the area well, it's a lovely place but very much like Oxford (only much smaller). Personally I think you should head up north for some warm English hospitality (if you can stand the cold!). If you are considering another job I might know the area as I know the UK quite well. We can look after you if you ever consider the north west!

(Devon might suit you for lifestyle but it's quite expensive)

The cot would be fab - I'm sure the mattress will be fine but I'll have a look at it because I could always buy a new one.

Robonpud I'll give you a shout if we need help with the cleaning. Fortunately our moving in date (20th) co-incides with DH's week off. He also went to the SCG for the cricket last night, but it was a last minute thing after work. I am livid to have missed it as we are both cricket fans - he owes me one now!
