Lovely photo of you and Kerr - you guys are amazing.

I’m delighted that you are finally getting some treatment to get rid of the cancer. You are getting the chance my mum didn’t get and I am praying that you see some results early 💕💕

OhDoh · 12/07/2023 17:05

You're doing amazing Pamela (and Kerr too!). Sending you lots of love and strength for chemo. Xx

Muchtoomuchtodo · 12/07/2023 17:06

Fabulous to hear that you pain is better controlled and you’re kicking off the first chemo.

keep being honest with them about your pain, sickness and nausea and I’m sending lots of crossed fingers that you get a more restful night.

EarringsandLipstick · 12/07/2023 17:08

Pamela you are incredible. Really & truly. To have rallied so much since the bleak & painful situation you described earlier is just amazing & wonderful.

Very glad the pain is less, and chemo underway.

Love your words about Kerr - he looks and sounds the most lovely man & you two together are adorable.

I think everything that you've shared with us will help so many people to see that in the midst of the worst situation, there is always hope. 💕💕💕

Following new thread - you are so inspirational.

I hope the chemo went ahead at lunchtime and went well for you Pamela.

I saw your post from this morning and I really, really hope that some alternative pain relief is available as what they have you on clearly isn't touching it. Get Kerr to advocate for you, if it's just too much.

I'm sending you a photo of my yucca, which only flowers every few years. It sends up this giant flower spike, which must use a ton of its resources, hence its intermittent flowering. Anyway, it's rather splendid!

Thread 5 and you and Kerr are making a Bonny couple ...you look good enough for a night out in London!
Keep on keeping on x

tiktokoclock · 12/07/2023 17:13

Glad to hear the chemo has begun. You are a powerhouse.

Even in the hardest moments, where you are wondering if you made the right choice to travel... hold on to the fact that you wanted your family to know that you tried everything, and to be thought of as brave.

You can certainly know that you've accomplished that! You're giving it everything you've got, and there's so many people on here in awe of your bravery and resolve. Thinking of you, Kerr, Jacob and your mam.

cheezncrackers · 12/07/2023 17:17

I must've missed your update at 1.30 - such a lovely photo and great news that you've started chemo. You're a gorgeous couple and looking at you, you'd never know what a horrendous night you just had. You're amazing!

CoffeeLover90 · 12/07/2023 17:18

Thanks for the new thread ❤️

Wokeuptired · 12/07/2023 17:20

Hope today is going ok
Here is a photo we took of our dog who had her eyes removed 2 months ago.
We couldn't afford the prosthetics so we improvised😂

Willing your chemo on to do it's magic. I really hope you get a better nights rest and than your pain is more manageable now they have increased your medication.

To help boost those endorphins here's a photo of my pup when we first got her. She's 9 months now, called Luna, still cute but this is when she was 8 weeks, a sleeping puppy ❤️

Ah love hope it's all going OK for you sending lots of love your way, your bravery and strength shine through.
Hopefully your bod will stabilise soon as they said, and your Mum and Jacob will come over xxx

ukgot2pot · 12/07/2023 17:38

Aww, Pamela - I'm glad you are starting treatment. If it helps you (maybe it won't) but think about how far you've come since last week where things seemed so bleak. Sometimes when we are going through such hard times, we forget how much progress we have made. You are starting chemo today which is something that was completely ruled out last week. You are fighting - keep thinking about shrinking it. Lots of love xx

notapizzaeater · 12/07/2023 17:39

Hope it's over and you're feeling marginally better ! Agree with previous poster this time last week this wasn't even an option. Let's hope the poison does it's stuff.

Showdogworkingdog · 12/07/2023 17:39

keep zapping those buggers, hope you have a better night xx

uncomfortablydumb53 · 12/07/2023 17:39

Sending you so many get well wishes. The chemo is going to kick ass. You got this 💐

Stokey · 12/07/2023 17:46

First time posting but I've been following your journey. So glad you are able to have chemo. UCLH is a fantastic hospital, my Dd1 was born there, and they looked after us so well when we got readmitted due to difficulties.

I also love your pink sliders!

Wishing you the best of luck.

FudgeMcFlurry · 12/07/2023 17:50

I’m very pleased you’ve been moved to UCLH and really, really hope the pain can start to be more manageable. As previous suggestions could you ask for some ‘as required’ night sedation eg Midazolam or similar for if things get really bad again?? Just knowing that something can give you some release from the pain might help.

Every bit of good luck with the chemo. A number of studies have shown the benefits of visualisation with cancer treatment so keep on imagining slaying the beast!

Lots of love, hugs, virtual gin and mind altering drugs.

Britintheusa · 12/07/2023 17:51

You are a warrior. Sending love, strength and hope to you from New York. Have a virtual hug from my pup.
