Oh, I am so, so pleased to hear your updates.
The only time I've ever had the pleasure of dexmeth, was to treat quinsey. I remember going back to work still on a hefty dose, and staring at a child who was speaking to me, thinking they were talking in another language 😯
I shall be off to bed shortly, but will no doubt be up in the night with one of the children.
Before I go, this plainsong chant from the Compline service has always calmed and helped me to sleep.
"Before the ending of the day,
creator of the world, we pray,
that with thy wonted favour thou
wouldst be our guard and keeper now.
From all ill dreams defend our eyes,
from nightly fears and fantasies;
tread under foot our ghostly foe,
that no pollution we may know.
O Father, that we ask be done,
through Jesus Christ thine only Son,
who, with the Holy Ghost and thee,
dost live and reign eternally."
Good night, God Bless.
