So happy to hear you had a better night. Getting some sleep really helps & it's great to hear your pain was better

Like you, I notice more things in nature now. That's probably why I've started gardening & collecting houseplants since my diagnosis.

I was just hanging out some washing & saw a beautiful butterfly on the buddlea.

could you cajole them into staying another couple of nights to get some sleep, being in a hospital bed & having a nurse to help you get comfortable rather than a spare bed in a friends house & no nurse! Will you have to go upstairs to bed at your friends??

It's good that you are making notes and I would suggest that you keep a notebook by you anyway.
Write in it when you take your meds, how you're feeling, the time etc. I found this really useful for the oncologist/doctors to see what's going on and when because it is so easy to forget these things when your head is mashed from tiredness, pain, effects of chemo or whatever.
I'm glad to see that you got both got a decent spell of sleep - it does make it easier to cope plus it's great news that your pain is being relieved for some of the time.
You are doing just great Pamela!! 😸xx

Wow Pamela, things have really taken a turn since I last checked yesterday! Still sending out love and prayers for you, and I’ve got literally everything crossed as well. Medicine is an absolute miracle and I’ve got faith that you will get there. You’ve got the power of 1000s of us behind you too!

Glad to hear you had a better night's sleep- always good when your fave nurse is on, everything feels less tense as they just know the little things.

I haven't commented previously but have been reading and thinking of you, Pamela. You're all doing amazingly and I'm so glad you've been able to start chemo. Here's to things continuing in this positive direction!

What a great update to read. So happy you had a better night and I hope and I pray this continues. Thank you for the reminder to look for the beauty in our days - I'm guilty as are a lot of us I'm sure of just trying to get through the day and the problems we encounter. It's good to stop and appreciate things , even the smallest of things. Keep going you're amazing 🤩

Another lurker here ... or, as I prefer to say, 'supporter'. Along with so many others, I've read your posts from the very start and have prayed for and thought of you several times a day. My heart goes out to you, Kerr, Jacob and your Mum.

I've hesitated to post this photo of our Chemo Cowboy Kid (from a long time ago) but your mention of steroids took me right back to when my DS was going through his long treatment. [I'm thrilled to say that he's now 18 and doing so well.] I hope this photo makes you smile as you have made me smile. You have also made me cry but, in the circumstances, I forgive you for that!
