Hi everyone, I’ve created a new thread as I am overwhelmed to see that the last one is full. You have all filled me up with your hope and encouragement. I’m keeping going as long as I possibly can!!

My heart is broken reading your thread. Such complete and utter incompetence from the NHS in NI. Sending love and hope.

It’s all the UK. This is what they do now, the public just don’t know till it happens to them.

YukoandHiro · 05/07/2023 07:43

I have to say @FormerlyPathologicallyHappy my experience of the nhs in London is still relatively good. But awful that outside of the capital it's such a basket case. Real postcode lottery right now.

HGC2 · 05/07/2023 07:45

Safe travels to you both, you are really in my prayers x

TTCnumberfour · 05/07/2023 07:46

Sending you much love and strength as you travel to London today. I’ve been following your journey and am in awe of your strength and courage. Sending you lots of positive energy Pamela. Love Tracey Wirral xxx

catwithflowers · 05/07/2023 07:56

God bless you Pamela. I hope today's travels go as well as possible and that your pain is bearable. Hold onto hope, and to the love your family and everyone on this thread has for you.

Karen, Northumberland xx

I'm in the capital and it's also pretty bad round here, such a high density population. There just isn't the capacity to cater for the numbers. Remember, Pamela has gone private I believe in London.

MerryMarigold · 05/07/2023 07:58

Pamela, I have been thinking of you this morning. The journey will be tough but I am hoping and praying it will be so worth it.

Sadly I think you are correct - it’s all over the UK

Washinglinewench29 · 05/07/2023 08:06

Thinking of you today Pamela, safe journey to London, keep on fighting. 💕 x

Wayoutwestie · 05/07/2023 08:32

Lurker here but have been reading both threads from the beginning. Just wanted to wish you all the best for your journey today, you and your family are amazing and you can do this.

Can't believe the news is full of stories celebrating 75 years of the NHS today and yet people like you are being treated so badly. Even before reading your story I knew it was true though, as sadly I lost my mum last year (not cancer) and the last few months of her life I felt I was in a constant battle with them.

Keep fighting, we're all with you. x

TheRosesAreInBloom · 05/07/2023 08:39

Hi Pamela, so glad you made the decision to go to London, you’ll be in the best hands.

We’re all rooting for you girl!!

I hope your mum & J take up the kind offer of accommodation made by a previous poster. Let the help. I'm too far south of london to be of any practical help, but I'm sending much love, strength & hope
