I've been reading biscuits and blankets thread and it seems to have stopped without knowing the outcome. My heart went out to her and her family. I have been thinking of them all day although I know it was a few years ago now 😘

Biscuitsandbandages was it OP? If that poster then very sadly the transplant didn't work and she developed graft versus host disease. Very sorry to have to tell you.

Yes, Biscuits had three lovely kids and a DH and was a doctor. I still think of her.

She seemed a really lovely person - we pm'd a few times when she was in hospital.

It always makes me smile that when she was first admitted she had just done a footner, and all the skin was dropping off her feet. She was constantly apologising to the nursing staff who were having to change her bed.

Some of her patients came on to one of the threads, and said what a fantastic GP she was.

She stopped posting on the 3rd of November Sad
