He’s had a good night - blood sugars are back normal. He’s still confused and they’ve put a catherter in - (he had a full bladder which he didn’t know- so think maybe kidney as well as lung infection) which he’s trying to pull out.

Think I managed about 30 mins :(

Aww hun thinking of you all it's so hard isn't it really hard I'm still struggling to get my head around the whole thing

Does anyone no how long it will be before he's seen by an oncologist? He was told his biopsy results well in hospital throwing up blood and had a blockage of the bowel it's driving me crazy cuz I've read on cancer research he may need an op and then someone has told him he won't need one cuz it won't work my heads just all over the place

@Relaxing2 I don't know if I missed it, if you're up to telling us what has happened so far and we might be able to help. Although timelines will be longer at the minute due to corona.

The waiting at the start is the worse bit - they need to make sure they have all the info to make a plan. Your hubby case will be heard in the MDT meeting so everyone has a say - then they will bring you up to date and give you treatment options

He had biopsy to check for liver cancer and in the mean time waiting for results he was taken into hospital throwing up blood and blockage in the bowel a doctor told him he got gullbadder cancer before surgery he wasn't surpose to have been told and over heard a nurse said she was a cancer nurse and asked if she could give him some information and she told him that there was nothing they could do for him it's spread from gullbaddler to liver he shouldn't even no this yet cuz they haven't even called him for his results yet but a doctor slipped

I’m at the hospital / he’s on a syringe driver and finally not in pain. They trying to get him home tomorrow but talking possibly hours/days.

DS been to see him today - my mum enroute to look after him, my best friend enroute to sit with me

Still at hospital / Just had a meeting with everyone - they’ve stopped all fluids - we are getting him home in the morning and expect DH to pass in next couple of days. I’m staying with him at the hospital and will be going with him tomorrow. He can’t talk now so heartbreaking

I'm so sorry it's come down to this. This awful disease takes absolutely everything.

Tomorrow though. Back in familiar surroundings, comfortable and with people who love him close by. Maybe the puppy will snuggle. He will be home.
