3 months ago before I ordered bedroom furniture (over £500 from an independent online company). I looked at the reviews beforehand, there was a few poor ones but nothing that really concerned me.
I emailed in advance to confirm that the items I wanted was not on pre order & it was confirmed they wasn’t & would be delivered within 10 days. 2 ½ months later I still hadn’t received them.
After loads of emails backwards & forwards, one set of drawers were eventually delivered but were very damaged. I was told that part of the order was refunded as an apology (which was never received).
3 times they have sent a courier to pick them & the courier refused to pick them up because of their size. I asked someone to ring me as there was no point for them keep booking couriers to collect & this happening over & over. All requests for updates about refunding the remaining £300 has been ignored.
After posting a bad review on Trustpilot last week someone finally got in touch on Saturday apologising & I was told a courier was coming Tuesday, it never came & my emails have again been ignored & they are not answering their phones.
I don't suppose I'll hear from them again now, so I'm stuck with a set of drawers that can't be used & spent £300 for furniture I didn't receive.
They are still posting loads of adverts on social media, I posted a message asking for someone to contact me & have now been blocked.
Is there anything I can do or do I just have to accept I have been scammed. I paid by debit card.
