I'd switch it off, disconnect the wires and mash the switch to bits.

I hate this feeling.

I hope you are doing OK Lady,
I don't have much to say really, I just didn't want to fade away and not say anything.
At times like this I suppose you need to count your blesssings, enjoy what you have and look on the bright side.
(Sounds like the cue for a song)
