Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

Aw @jenk91 I honestly think the estrogen is the worst part! I didn’t cry but I felt soooooo irritated and angry and snappy. Allow yourself some grace for sure.

So night three and it’s definitely getting slightly easier With each night although the swelling and pinching afterwards is real. But I think now will be much more manageable than I felt on night one. I’ve also iced for a full five mins beforehand and make sure and get a good chunk of skin good and then inject really slowly it’s defo making a difference.

my clinic said if it does get unmanageable they can reassess with consultant and advised me to inject in my thigh if my stomach becomes too tender. They did say twice to me this morning that lubion is not the most comfortable of injections so at least I know it’s. It just me being a wimp!!

@PlanBFertility26 so delighted for you. I know you’re probably still anxious but great to get such a huge hurdle out of the way. Sending all the e positive vibes

@jenk91honestly the oestrogen made me feel like I was losing the plot and I posted on here asking about it! I was very emotional the first 4 days, super tearful like your experience. Someone asked me “what do you have on this week?”. I actually had a nice quiet week ahead but the question made me want to burst into tears.

After the first four days it moved into more irritable and reactive. Not wanting to be alone but everything and everyone irritating me. Had one night I dreamt I was standing in front of different ppl arguing with them, my DH told me I woke him up shouting!

I felt loads better once I started the progesterone, it really took the edge off and actually calmed me down a lot for the transfer. I felt too spacey to get as anxious as I expected to be. Then that lethargic feeling improved after about a week and I’m back at something of a baseline now! But a mad 3 weeks.

When I was worrried about this I looked on Reddit and women were reporting a similar trend… tearful to angry to sedated/chilled out by the progesterone

@CMGC ahh glad those injections are getting a little better. I imagine that first one is a shock to the system!! All good here thank you. The bloat has fully kicked in today, my boobs are tender, still a bit crampy on and off. How are you feeling?

@mumtrovertyeah they are a different gravy to the stims ones that’s for sure!! Nothing much to report here thank god just belly looking very bloaty!!

Hi - sorry it’s me again. I’m still getting very faint lines, which are stressing me out as I expected them to have completely gone by now. It’s 13dp5dt and it’s my otd tomorrow with the clinic.

I was wondering if I should just stop my progesterone and not tell them about the faint lines in case they tell me to stay on the progesterone and do testing with them? I think this would give me false hope and be upsetting. Any thoughts?

Are you keeping busy the next few days? I did lots of walking which really helped take my mind off things. I met with a friend yesterday and didn’t talk or think about this at all, all day - perfect.

I’m worried my clinic will just book me in for a 7 week scan which I was told is the next step, but perhaps they will do something different for me if I ask.

Weirdly having this result (which although is a likely chemical / early miscarriage), has given me a glimmer of hope for my remaining frozen embryos.

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress Those type of tests often give faint lines but I don't think that is that faint. Please don't stop your meds. Try a first response as they give good lines.

@mumtrovert @SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite ok im glad I’m not the only one! I reckon I’ve still got another week of this (assuming my lining is fine on Friday), what a fun week ahead!

@CMGC im pleased they’ve gotten a little better,

in this whole process I’ve realised each step is tough in its own way, and the waiting never ends, I really don’t know how we all survive it!

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress im really sorry you’re dealing with this. I do agree with OP that the line doesn’t actually look that faint, did you do other tests before that one?

@jenk91 yes they were a lot fainter previously. This is the last one I did, two days ago. I had others but threw them away as they were all so faint. I was expecting them to get fainter / disappear so was thrown when this morning’s looked slightly darker.

I’m not holding out much hope as there really should be a clear positive by now. It’s 2 weeks tomorrow since my transfer.

Thanks for your suggestion as well @DontBuyAnotherBook, perhaps I could try a different brand.

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress oh gosh yes I can imagine it’s really messing with your head, I’m sorry. It is definitely darker though, but I think it’s sensible to guard your heart.

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress I’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. In my chemical cycle, my clinic wanted me to have bloods done so they could see if my HCG was increasing or decreasing before telling me to stop meds. Please insist that your clinic does bloods as they can’t leave you in limbo for all that time!

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress so sorry that you are in limbo like this, I agree to keep up the meds for now but definitely tell the clinic how you are feeling and that you need more certainty asap.

@jenk91 I also don’t react well to oestrogen, you are not alone! Hoping you feel better soon, the first week was the worst for me.

@CMGC really glad the lubion is getting a little better, well done for persevering and finding some strategies!

@PlanBFertility26 glad your transfer went ok. Sorry you weren’t feeling hopeful this morning, did you manage to do anything nice (or even just distracting!) today?

I’m still waiting to ovulate and hoping my lining has grown ahead of another scan tomorrow… had a really nice dinner out & local theatre show with some friends yesterday which was a lovely distraction. Good reminder that I like to be busy and distracted from waiting so if my transfer goes ahead (🤞🏽🙏🏽) I’ll try and book some low key plans in for the tww.

Who has transfer dates this week? I know @mumtrovert is on Tues and think there are a few more!

Transfer on Tuesday along with @mumtrovertand progesterone test in the morning ahead of it! I’ve just made plans to do a local road trip with a friend during my TWW and also attending a baby shower in the middle of it (the irony!!!!) I need to keep busy or else I will spiral

@CMGC ah the road trip sounds like lots of fun! Will keep you distracted for sure. Hope the baby shower isn’t too triggering. It’s hard to navigate these things when we’re right in the middle of that unknown period. Hope your blood test is all fine tomorrow. Mine is at 8:40 but usually don’t find out the result until the transfer. Not long now.. the panic is starting to set in for me! Our last embryo, feels like so much is riding on this .. 😫🤞🏼

@PlanBFertility26 hope you’re coping OK! I’m sure no symptoms doesn’t mean a thing now (or even later!) so you’re still very much in it. I know how hard it is to not spiral though 😢

@mumtroverthowd your bloods go? I just got a call from the clinic to up my lubion to twice a day injection , so fun!! Anyway full steam ahead for the transfer regardless

I feel so deflated today. My Lubion have randomly started to hurt for days after the injection so that’s fun. Waiting for my clinic to call with my 2dp transfer progesterone bloods to make sure all ok. I just feel it hasn’t worked. Apart from my tummy feeling bruised from injections, I feel nothing else. I’m sure in my cycle when it implanted, I had lots and lots of cramps and twinges.

Don’t lose hope yet you never know! Symptoms aren’t reliable!!! So sorry to hear your in pain from the lubion. Nothing worse than a sore belly on top of the emotional strain!

There’s no way you’d feel pregnancy symptoms by now @PlanBFertility26, you can’t go off that. You’ve a good chance with your euploid, hang on in there.

Thanks @ivftrainee, my clinic are so low effort - they’ve told me to do another hpt on Thursday and call them with the result. She said “It’s still a positive!” I’m like, ffs it really isn’t 😅. If I’m still showing a faint positive on Thursday they’ll book me in for a 7 week scan. 😩

@PlanBFertility26I’m so sorry. Day 2 and 3 post transfer were when I completely started to lose the plot. I had no symptoms at all (and I’m used to being super aware of sensations from endometriosis) and actually felt if anything like things were calming down back to baseline after all the progesterone side effects. Hang in there, it’s really so early.

I’m really sorry about the Lubion injections too - is it everytime you inject? I find certain patches of my stomach hurt so much and others aren’t as bad. I’ve had to try an injection in a couple of different places sometimes before finding a manageable spot. Can you ask your clinic if it has to be the stomach?

@InWithPeaceOutWithStressim so sorry. Would you consider doing some beta tests elsewhere whilst waiting for your scan? I started looking into that near to me as was worried I wouldn’t trust my HPT result, and my clinic only does a beta after a positive HPT
