June IVF/FET 👶 🌟 ❤️

Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

Thanks ladies. I know I’m being neurotic. But after a MMC and 2 failed cycles, I just don’t have any hope left.

bloods today are looking good, progesterone higher at 297 and oestrogen 1713

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress so sorry your clinic haven’t been helpful, that is such a rubbish response and so little empathy for how you’re feeling 😣 Will you try and do a beta elsewhere or hang in there until Thurs at least?

@PlanBFertility26 glad your bloods are looking good. It’s understandable that you feel so worried given your MMC and journey to get here. I remember you said that you’ll test early so it’s not long to go for you now (although I imagine it still feels like ages)- you can do it!

I’ve been on a real rollercoaster starting with my monitoring scan today… my lining has thickened up to 7.5 which is great, beetroot bonanza has paid off! But on my scan there was some fluid which looked like I could have ovulated, although I still had two large follicles so they weren’t sure. I’ve been doing ovulation tests twice a day so didn’t think I’d ovulated yet but they did some blood tests and said they’d have to cancel the cycle if I’d ovulated 😫 I was so worried- DH took me out for a burger afterwards which did help a bit!

And then… when I got home I did an ovulation test and it was positive 😂 So I sent several panicked emails & called the clinic. They’ve just emailed with a transfer date on Sunday!! I’m over the moon it’s going ahead 🌙 Just need them to confirm a few details about the meds as nobody’s actually told us how much to take when and I feel a bit nervous just going off the prescription…

Hi everyone thought I would join . My first time posting on here I’m doing a medicated FER in two days time. On my monitoring scan we found I was very close to ovulation so we caught it just in time despite being on oestrogen it had not shut my ovaries down so luckily we managed to convert to more of a “ natural cycle “ and continue to transfer . Progesterone test is tomorrow so hoping that is all good. Good luck to everyone testing and congratulations to everyone with there positives!

@Blueskycat this sounds similar to me , was you taking oestrogen ?

Yes all done @CMGCbut won’t know number until transfer tomorrow. If it’s low they give you an injection on the day I believe but mine hasn’t ever been low, so fingers crossed. Ahh I’m so sorry you’re on two injections! That’s pants. What time is your transfer and do you know what you’re transferring yet? Mine is a Day 6 4AB at the time of freezing. Hoping it’s a sticky one! ✨

@PlanBFertility26 it could be the pain also distracting your brain from feeling anything that subtle anyway! I know how horrible this wait is after failed cycles and how you can’t help but read into everything, but there’s just no way of knowing anything for sure & I’m hoping this surprises you in the best way 🤞🏼 those numbers look good

@Blueskycat oh my gosh what a rollercoaster of a day!! Yaaayy for transfer on Sunday. That’s great that you have a date now. Will they still tell you the result of your bloods? I wonder what the fluid was!

@Lucky444 glad they managed to rescue your cycle too! No I’m not on estrogen, mine was planned as a natural cycle this time so not on any medication right now. Starting loads tomorrow though!

@mumtrovert my bloods came through on the hospital app- high LH and very low progesterone which is what you’d expect just before ovulating I think! Yes I wonder about the fluid, tbh they are very sceptical of natural cycles in my clinic and you could tell they really thought I must have ovulated by now so maybe they just saw fluid in the tea leaves 🤣 I do trust them but sometimes you see what you want to see…

@Blueskycat I know wasn’t expecting it at all so glad we managed to continue lining is 9mm so that’s reassuring just counting down the days now until transfer 😅

I’ve had to plan something in my diary most days to take my mind off . Had a miscarriage last year in May and no positives since.

Ah ok hopefully all will be straight forward in the morning! I’m super anxious now about tomorrow and I’m working in the morning which is making me more stressed tbh about getting out on time etc! I haven’t been told what they transferring but I’m in a very lucky position to have a number of day 5 in freezer so I assume it will be one of those and think I have a 5AA and a 4AA so assume I’ll find out in the morning which one of those they will be thawing! The embryologist is calling me in the morning! Just would love to feel less nervous but asking for a miracle ha!

@mumtrovertsorry forgot to say I’m transferring at 12 40 what about you?

@Blueskycat ahhh fair enough 😂😂 that’s good that the bloods confirmed it too. Thanks so much ♥️ aaahhh I’m nervous. I just want that call to tell me it’s thawed OK. I can deal with the rest but that’s my biggest worry at the minute. No rituals really.. I have my acupuncture booked for before & after transfer plus a good comedy show lined up ready to start tomorrow night! I’m going to walk to my acupuncturist too, it’s like 20 mins each way. So just planning to stay relatively active.

@Lucky444 sorry to hear about your MC. I had one in June last year. It’s not easy. Hope you get your positive this time & a sticky one too.

@CMGC ah will be thinking of you at 12:40! Mine is 13:50. Hope work isn’t too bad. I’m off for the full day, there’s no way I’d concentrate in the morning! Hopefully it makes the time pass for you quickly. Your embryos sound great, all the very very best 🤞🏼

Hi, may I join please? I had my only embryo transferred yesterday. It was a fresh transfer and a score of 6 on Care Maps.

I had 10 eggs retrieved last week, 3 immature, 2 not full eggs, 5 mature.

Of these 3 fertilised normally and 2 atypically. I am 42. We were hoping to PGTA test but only if we had more than 2.

Now in the 2ww. I have been watching this board but didn't think I would be lucky enough to be on it. Baby dust to us all!

Oh gosh, I didn't read the title properly. I didn't realise it was just FET! Sorry ladies.

My biggest worry today is over- my last embryo has survived the thaw! 🙌🏼

Second beta today… pretty nervous, I said I was at the clinic this morning and they asked why (?!). I’m - for now - doing better than I thought I would at this stage be post loss. Maybe it’s still the progesterone sedating me a bit, but fully was expecting to be wildly guarded and panicked but I don’t have the energy to get as frantic as I have been at other points. Still a bit of fight in me though… my DH told his parents the transfer worked. He got a load of crap from MIL about the evil eye (they’re Iraqi) and how he’s jinxing things by mentioning the pregnancy, and she messaged me too 🤦🏻‍♀️. They know I’ve had a miscarriage (!) and ironically that was when I didn’t tell anyone. That episode still managed to get a significant rise out of me so I’m still in there somewhere 🤣. Obviously everyone is so different with what works for them but I found not saying something and then having to pretend like everything was fine when I was falling apart made things so much worse, and I don’t think there’s any point it will feel safe… and this has been a mission to get here now for 18 months with surgery etc so I just can’t pretend like this part of my life isn’t happening. Wish I could! Probably still was worth it telling them though as I have an excuse to continue avoiding them 😂

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite Good luck for your beta today fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼 I agree with that as well I think if you’re comfortable to sometimes it can be best to tell who you would want to know so then you have still got that support system to help you through any anxieties, try and not worry too much about what your MIL has said you just do what’s right for you xx

I am feeling quite emotional today. At 42 I know my chances are slim, especially as little Emby is untested. My son was IVF and born 11 years ago. No pregnancy for 11 years until this March when I ended up with chemical at 5 weeks after a spontaneous pregnancy. The whole process is just so stressful and you just cannot help but compare your journey to others. X

I think also knowing that this is our one and only chance adds so much pressure on my brain. I really wish we could afford more x

@Sheffters no problem and never compare everyone’s journey Is different and what you do know is that implantation has been successful for you before I know it’s really hard . Why don’t you try and go for some long walks if you’re able to clear your mind I always find walking helps a lot + Lots of fluids and TLC off someone close to you x
