June IVF/FET 👶 🌟 ❤️

Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

I have no advice for the TWW. I test daily. I’m a strong believer that you’ll know by day 5 if it’s worked post 5 day transfer. Of course there are some that will get a day or so later. But majority will show then

@ivftrainee Not quite there yet. My transfer is next Tues! So I hope you’re all talking me off a ledge in a little over a week’s time 😂

@PlanBFertility26 not long for you either for your transfer. I’m surprised there’s not been more early testers on here! You’ll have to keep us updated.

I know some may not wish to see (you can censor it) but I love seeing people’s positive tests so if you feel like you can’t post them for whatever reason guys please don’t feel that way x

@TheNavyFatball great news!! Just had my first progesterone hit of lubion injection tonight and it’s not fun very painful and belly all sore and swollen for the last hour. Had nothing like this on my stims medication does anyone have any experience of this? Going to try stick it out for the five days but thinking of asking my clinic on transfer day if they can take me off the injections and just take the pessaries as I won’t be able to keep going with this for weeks when this is only night 1 and I’m clearly not reacting very well, hoping my body takes it better over next few days

I have been on Lubion twice a day since egg collection, as well as pessaries. I ice the area before and after, but I agree they’re nippy and not the nicest. Way worse than stims!!

Thank you all so much. An emotional rollercoaster of a day that I wasn’t sure I’d ever see. Now just to keep everything cross everything remains positive.

My clinic has asked for blood tests today, Saturday and Monday. I’m in Glasgow and my clinic is in London, but they are happy for me to have them up here.

@mumtrovertI maybe went a bit OTT but I have never had an obvious positive so was expecting squinting, hence getting different options to double check.

@TheNavyFatball those are fabulous lines!!! ♥️♥️ great that you have bloods also just to give you more reassurance.

@CMGC hope you can get used to those injections or they can tell you to stop taking them. They sound horrible.

Gosh ladies I can hardly believe it but it was a positive this morning. Trying to guard my heart as much as possible given what happened before, but I must admit my energy levels increased about 10 times seeing that 😅 . Will call the clinic at 9

@CMGC I have seen a lot of women saying the same about Lubion, I’m also going to be on it for the first time this transfer so a bit worried. I’m sorry it’s so rough for you.

I’m still a couple weeks off transfer I think, on day 5 of estrogen and have lining scan next Friday, time feels like it’s going verrryyyy slowly

@PlanBFertility26 I broke and tested early 6dp5dt and think there’s a faint line!

I’m still holding my breath and I can’t tell you how deflated my boobs are (never been so flat chested)!

And wow @ivftraineethat sounds really promising 💫! I would try not to worry too much about any deflating, go by your positive line! My bloating (boobs and abdomen) dropped off very quickly post transfer and I assumed it was a bad sign and have driven myself half mad this last week worrying about it xx

Time went the slowest for me during the period you’re in now so I totally understand the pain of that.

yeah I’ve contacted my clinic to see if they have any advice for me. Didn’t expect it as stims went well in terms of all the injections were grand!!

@mumtrovert really glad your lining scan went well and you’ve got the green light for Tuesday! Sorry to hear about your son being poorly though, not ideal timing… I hope you can all take it a bit easy this weekend. Symptom spotting is such a tough one, you never know what is medication side effects and what is your mind playing tricks, but it’s understandable that you are comparing to how you’ve felt when you’ve been pregnant before. You know your body!

Thanks for asking after me. I had another lining scan today and it was only 6.4mm, although she said it was a healthy triple line structure so not to worry too much. Obviously I am worrying though, I bought beetroot juice and pomegranate on the way home from the clinic 😂 My medicated cycles I’ve only got to 7mm so not expecting much growth but I know they like it to be 7mm. I’ve got another scan booked in for Monday and I expect I’ll get a positive ovulation test on Sun/Mon anyway so let’s see. Any tips for lining thickness please send them my way!

Sorry to hear the lubion has been so painful @CMGC, that does sound like a bad reaction. I hope it eases up over the coming days. I’ll be starting Lubion too if I get the green light for this transfer…

Ahhh @Blueskycat almost there!! And that’s good you’ll be ovulating soon. Keep shotting the beetroot & pomegranate, I don’t really have any other helpful tips. I’m sure it’ll get there 🤞🏼🤞🏼

@CMGC any progress with the Lubion?

Did anyone else feel super all over the place when just taking estrogen? This is my 3rd FET and I don’t remember feeling like this before, but this time I’m only 5 days into estrogen tabs and It’s really getting to me! This morning I took something to the post office, and the label wouldn’t work so I cried 😂

@PlanBFertility26 goos luck today! hope all goes well! do you have any nice things lined up?

@Blueskycat I had lots of beetroots and also had so much broth (chicken broth and beef broth). I’ve heard that’s really good for it too!

I’m counting down until 5d post to test as cannot wait any longer. I honestly don’t know how you ladies wait until OTD. I’d be so anxious! 😂😂
