June IVF/FET 👶 🌟 ❤️

Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

@Sheffters I know thank you , when you’ve been trying naturally for so long it’s hard to imagine seeing a positive again isn’t it. I can’t wait to hopefully have 2 children in the future and put all of this behind me so stressful isn’t it . I’ve not had one yet and I’m already thinking about the second I’m an overthinker for sure 😂 xx

Good morning everyone , know this is sensitive and I hope everyone Is doing as well as they can be surrounding the uncertainty.I tested this morning at 7 days past transfer and I didn’t take a trigger injection fingers crossed it continues to grow now. I’ll test again in 48 hours.

Mine are still very faint at 9dpt. Pretty sure it's a chemical again for us unfortunately.

@ivftraineei agree with @PlanBFertility26on the betas.
They can be reassuring initially but then they almost don’t matter straight after you’ve had them!

I had really good betas last week after my positive, and then I spiralled a bit when I did a clear blue digital and it came up 2-3 weeks instead of 3+, when I knew my HCG should have been high enough to detect 3+. I have read a lot about the tests being unreliable, and was going to get another blood test, but I’ve decided to wait for my scan on Saturday and just keep everything crossed!🤞

The waiting throughout this whole process if so hard, hope time passes quickly for you.

@Sheffters I'm sorry to hear this , look after yourself lots of tlc off your partner get a review booked in and please don’t give up . I know ladies that have been close to giving up and got there after a longer time than they anticipated but they got there. Everyone’s journeys are different. Big hugs , give yourself grace and lots of self care . We’re all here for you as well 🤍

@Sheffters so sorry to read this. Silly question, but how are you?

@TheNavyFatball the clear blue weeks are the MOST stressful thing ever and mine never went above 2-3 weeks, even when my HCG was rocketing.

Im not sure if it’s because of my miscarriage but I just can’t relax. I’m sure my text should be darker. Seems to fluctuate so much depending on time of day etc. I’ve done at home finger brick beta bloods so awaiting the results for those.

TW: tests

We tested also this morning and happy to say it’s positive. But anyone who’s been through chemicals and loss before will know you just swap one worry for another. I’ve had a chemical and a MMC due to slow rising hCG so I’m particularly sensitive to how dark the lines are. My FRER is a strange dashed line, so not 100% confident on that, but I did google it and others have had this before too (with varying degrees of darkness). My CB looked OK but then dried even lighter ? (Photo 2)
The lines look darker than my previous chemical & MMC but nowhere near as dark as DS cycle. So the worry continues really, although I am obviously pleased to see two lines. I’ll retest on Friday morning.

congratulations those lines look great ! I wouldn’t worry about the FRER . I’m the exact same on my MMC I never got past 2-3 weeks fingers crossed 🤞🏼 xx

I have re looked at the 3 I took this morning. All very faint but there. I am 9dpt and Google says faint lines can be normal. The next 2 days will tell us more but I am guarded and ready for a chemical x

clinic called this morning-two poor quality blasts to freeze 4CC and 4BC. That’s the last of my donors eggs so very much praying this one is the ONE!

@TheNavyFatball I spent a while chasing a 3+ also and read lots about how unreliable they are, so keeping my fingers crossed it’s just not been accurate for you. Not too long to wait for your scan. How far along are you now?

@Umbrellaladi everything crossed for you! But they wouldn’t freeze them if they didn’t have a chance. And my embryos weren’t the best quality to start with, then started hatching when defrosted and changed to a higher grade. So there’s always hope!

@Sheffters I’m so sorry about the uncertainty, really hoping for some lovely dark lines for you in the coming days.

I’m joining the symptom spotting fever now at 3dpt… and I am feeling nothing at all! No cramps/tugging/twinges, so I can’t help feeling that my poor embryo isn’t up to much in there. But i’ve never had a positive test before so I don’t have anything to compare to.

How is anyone else in the early waiting days doing?@Umbrellaladi @Starsandmoonalways @Zeeha

@Blueskycat same here! I’m 5dpt and I don’t feel bloated anymore. I stopped feeling tired and the headaches and reflux are gone. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe I was too optimistic with this being my first cycle but why isn’t the progesterone giving me any symptoms??? 😂
However, my friend who did 3 cycles said she had nil symptoms on her positive (last) cycle, she was so convinced it didn’t work whereas she had lots of symptoms in the negative cycles. Her DD is 5 now :)

@Blueskycat my friend has had two positive cycles with strong lines and 0 symptoms! So you never know.

@mumtrovert aww no that’s the worst thing you can do just try to trust your body now that’s what I’m trying to do . I’m just going to wait another 48hours and test again I know it’s definitely harder said than done but it will cause too much stress and anxiety otherwise x
