June IVF/FET 👶 🌟 ❤️

Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

Honestly don’t know how much heartbreak I can keep taking

I am so grateful to all you ladies, I haven't been able to speak to anyone in real life who totally gets it like you do. X

I know me too it’s so consuming isn’t it . Doing my first test tomorrow morning and I didn’t take a trigger so it should be accurate. I also hate my job but need the maternity pay which is another stress so kind of stuck in the job for now. Can’t start a new job and then say I’ve got fertility appointments . Life ayy have to remind myself everything will work out eventually 🩷

@PlanBFertility26 because some tests are very light. Some have got fainter. Some have darkened. Some just haven’t progressed. And then some look normal
But there is no clear progression and the rising and falling trend can be a cause for concern for ectopic.

The line also isn’t as dark as they would expect 14dp5dt which they said isn’t foolproof but it’s an indicator that they need to do a blood test to check my levels.

@KP1091 you poor thing. When do you get the results?

Oh I’m so sorry @KP1091 @PlanBFertility26 @Sheffters that you all have so much uncertainty. I’ve been there and know how heartbreaking it is. Really wishing you get darker lines or some closure 😞

@Lucky444 good luck for your test tomorrow. I have absolutely everything crossed! How are you feeling about it?

Today is 7dpt and this time last cycle all my symptoms were gone & I felt normal and knew it was a BFN. So today I’m panicking that I don’t feel crampy anymore or bloated. Trying to just rationalise. It’s such a rollercoaster. I had so much hope yesterday and now I think how silly 🫠🫠

@mumtrovert I've been getting a dull ache on my right side from quite early on and it’s till very noticeable today but I think it’s just ovary pain and being caused by the corpus luteum Becasue that’s the side I ovulated from so I’m hoping that’s Becasue the corpus luteum is feeding pregnancy hormones or If not I’ve probably got a corpus luteum cyst 😂😭

Ahhh hopefully @Lucky444! That makes sense. What dpt are you tomorrow, is it 7?

So my mum has caught a cough/cold from DS the past few days, she’s text me today saying she’s had really awful sinus pain and feels rotten so can’t have DS tomorrow (she looks after him on Weds). So I called nursery and they have space for him. I didn’t want to test tomorrow because I didn’t want to face my Mum in the morning and wanted a day off by myself if it was negative .. now it feels like the world wants me to test tomorrow!! I usually always test at 8dpt as that was when I caved with DS and I’m a sucker for superstitions. What do we think?? Stick to 9dpt or test tomorrow?

I think test tomorrow but I am a serial tester. I am also superstitious and I even wore the same clothes for egg retrieval and transfer! Washed of course 😂

Update from me - I’m now thinking my
morning wee was dilute from drinking so much before bed thanks to a salty Chinese as just done these…

FET went ahead this morning and I’m PUPO! The grade is 3AA and there’s some embryos developing so I’m also hoping for good news there. I was hoping for a 4 or 5 AA but they said it’s just the size and not to focus on that. it is for a sibling for my 3 year old.

I spent extra time today trying to get my bladder filled. If it helps anyone else, stay hydrated-I thought I was but I still had to drink a lot (at least a litre) and I think this might be because it’s so hot.

I have started spotting 😭 8dpt today and have had spotting when wiping. Very little but there. Slight period cramps but positive faint tests. I really hope it's late implementation bleeding but I am not hopeful after chemical in April.

Will have to wait and see x

Congrats @Umbrellaladi on being PUPO! And hoping for more good news in your other embryos too.

Sorry to hear about those of you in limbo with faint lines and spotting, the worry really doesn’t stop after test day, it just changes 😔 Hope you have some more certainty soon, and time passes quickly in the mean time ❤️

@Umbrellaladi congrats on being PUPO!! That’s a great embryo, I think the AA is the important part. I also have a 3yo and so desperate to give him a sibling. Hope this can be the cycle we both make it happen 🤞🏼

@Sheffters oh I'm sorry to hear you’re spotting 😞 I hope it stops soon or that it’s the good type of spotting instead of the bad! Could be your sac getting ready.

@Blueskycat pretty confident we’ll test tomorrow. That was the only thing holding us back, so the fact that it’s all ended up the way it has, it feels like it’s meant to be for us to test tomorrow. Is that weird? 🙈 Hope the 2ww is treating you well & you’re not going too crazy.

All ok here thanks, struggling with sleep thanks to prednisolone insomnia/heat/thunderstorm combo but very busy at work which is good cos time is flying! Only 2dpt but ok so far 😄

@mumtrovert I think test on 8dp5dt. but then I would really try to test every 48 hours after that. that what I did and it saved me the dreaded “is this line darker” bit

Im struggling with the post test wait (so much waiting!) - my clinic doesn’t do betas so nothing for three weeks and getting nervous about everything. feel a bit sick but think it’s mixture of progesterone and the heat.

Do you think I should pay for a private beta test to give peace of mind (will it actually give me peace of mind?)

Sorry to ask about this stage while you guys are going through the worst of it!

@ivftrainee i had betas last time with my clinic and results were amazing, beyond expectations. But then lost the baby two days after the scan so for me, although I’m still doing them, they don’t bring me much reassurance. Nothing does! And the range is sooooo varied it may cause you more stress!!

When is your scan? How many dpt are you?

@Blueskycat the heat + medication is not a winning combo for sleep is it 🫠 glad you’re getting on well so far.

@ivftrainee yes will try and stick to an every other day rule if I’m lucky enough for it to be positive! Thank you. Betas are hard to say really .. if you’re happy with your lines, I’d be tempted to stick out the wait. If you’re unsure and you think a good beta would settle your nerves, then maybe it would be a good idea. Sometimes more information does more harm than good.

@ivftrainee bet time is DRAGGING? I’ve booked an early scan at 6+4 on 10th July! Going away that weekend and although I may not see anything, I just know I’d not enjoy our time away without some (hopefully) reassurance.

@PlanBFertility26 Yup! symptom spotting continues - got a banging migraine - which I was hoping would end with pregnancy as I suffer from menstrual migraines.

I've just sent my partner out to get us a test for the morning if it’s negative I won’t be testing again I’ll just wait for my period . He can only find the ultra early line ones I prefer the ones that just say pregnant or not 😂 We have 8 embryos of good grades left which is reassuring .They’re not tested but I’m under 30 so fingers crossed 🤞🏼
