Ah no, stop the scrolling! Yours looks wonderful, try to enjoy it lovely. I totally get the concern and am right here with you.

I am doing the same though. I am telling myself that I am not out until i'm out. Today I have tests that are showing positive albeit faint. AI is telling that I should.be going by the MomMed test strips as it's clear but faint. It said that it's totally normal and to sit with it x

mumtrovert · Yesterday 11:50

@Sheffters @Lucky444 thank you both! I know you’re absolutely right. My DS was just so much darker at this stage but I know every pregnancy is different too. 🤞🏼🤞🏼 fingers crossed for all of us! 🤍🤍

PlanBFertility26 · Yesterday 11:51

I’m sat here crying, convinced I’m out.
I did at home beta bloods on Monday, so 9dp5dt and results are only 32.1iu/l. On the lower end of normal 😔 just took today’s bloods but I don’t think my tests look marker darker than Mondays.

My DS was too so I get it. I also had a chemical in April so constantly comparing lines! But today I have the telltale twinging in my abdomen, the spotting has stopped and the cramping is barely there so I am hopeful I implanted late x

Sheffters · Yesterday 11:53

Oh @PlanBFertility26 it's such an uncertain time. Very much here with you through this and sending a huge virtual hug. Xx

KP1091 · Yesterday 12:48

@PlanBFertility26 where did you get your at home bloods?
I’ve been told low end of normal doesn’t tell you much as a one off. It’s what the trend is. Does hcg rise, fall or stay the same.
Im still waiting to hear back from my clinic. It’s torture

PlanBFertility26 · Yesterday 12:53

London Health Clinic - order them from Amazon. Now kicking myself incase they’re not accurate 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Blueskycat best of luck to you! I didn't have any early symptoms with either of my two previous pregnancies, although with the more recent IVF one I did have implantation bleeding a few days after the fresh transfer, but I believe that isn't that common. Plenty of symptoms later on though!

I'm going mad trying to take it easy. I'm not one for relaxing lol. Last time I got a very faint positive 6dpt, so I'm going to start using cheapies at the end of the week and hope for the best!

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · Yesterday 13:51

Congratulations what wonderful news @mumtrovertand @Lucky444!

@PlanBFertility26it really is the progression that counts. When I was losing the plot over betas I went down a Reddit rabbit hole and there were women with low end numbers (low double digits) who went on to have successful pregnancies. Will you repeat the at home betas or does your clinic offer betas?

@Blueskycat3dpt was when I really lost the plot and I had absolutely zero symptoms. And did my first and only early test 3dpt which completely burned me. Hang in there! @Starsandmoonalways my bloating also went down in the week after the transfer a lot which panicked me. I think maybe our bodies adjust to the progesterone?

@Shefftersdoes your clinic do betas? If so when is yours? I’m sorry you’re in limbo

@KP1091hope you hear back soon 🤗

My clinic has said to stop the aspirin tonight re bleeding but to keep in the clexane. And they will make a call tomorrow on whether to bring forwards my scan. It’s currently booked next Thursday which is 7 weeks exactly. The bleeding is about the same level and pink&brown but the cramping is ramping up. Gah of course this could all be just entirely normal but hard not to panic post loss

PlanBFertility26 · Yesterday 13:57

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite ive sent off today’s one already, before I got the results. So will see what they say. Clinic calling later. I expect they’ll want to double check with a venous draw so that’ll be a fun 7hr round trip to London and back.

My beta came back lower than the clinic would like, so back tomorrow to see what the trend and progression is

PlanBFertility26 · Yesterday 15:06

@KP1091 do you mind me asking what it was and how many DPT you are?

OP posts:
KP1091 · Yesterday 15:22

@PlanBFertility26 it was 194 and 14dp5dt

PlanBFertility26 · Yesterday 15:28

@KP1091 is this your first set? So sorry you are also going through this hell.

KP1091 · Yesterday 16:34

Yes @PlanBFertility26 so back tomorrow.
i just want some clarity at this point. Living in the grey area is horrendous
hope yours rises well

PlanBFertility26 · Yesterday 16:52

@KP1091 it’s vile. I’m convinced it’s game over. Been crying all day.

@PlanBFertility26 i swing between having hope. No hope. At peace with what I think is the outcome. Then worried

jenk91 · Yesterday 19:08

Congrats to those of you who have had positives, hope the time to your scan flies by!

Im so sorry for those of you who have not had a positive outcome or are still in limbo, sending positive thoughts your way 💫

ivftrainee · Yesterday 19:08

@mumtrovert stop! I know it’s hard but you’ve got great lines and try and wait 48 hours for next test.

@PlanBFertility26 @KP1091 @SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite sorry to hear you’re in the limbo a bit (when will it not be the limbo stage with this stuff?!). Hope you get some positive clarity soon

did any of you get your embryos tested?

PlanBFertility26 · Yesterday 19:58

@ivftrainee yep, mines an euploid. day 5 4AB

OP posts:
SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · Yesterday 20:02

@ivftraineeyes we got ours PGT-A tested (was advised to by the clinic as my endometriosis was also on my ovaries) and transferred a euploid

Did you test yours?

My clinic does seem to err on the conservative side, but they said they thought the best path for me would be to transfer a PGT-A tested embryo (rather than try to conceive naturally post surgery) with additional anti clotting support for a clotting issue. I also had to freeze in any case as the consultant wanted to do an egg retrieval the first cycle after surgery (in case I got a drop off in ovarian function) and then wait 3 months to heal from the surgery before doing the transfer

ivftrainee · Yesterday 20:24

yes we did as recommended by a friend. I’m glad we did as my two 5AAs were both anti-euploid and would’ve started with them. I think the stats are good if we’ve got to the point of a positive test? appreciate might not ease your concerns right now, as you wait for further betas, but praying yours double nicely - I’m still in the dark on betas, but like you say maybe for the best!

ivftrainee · Yesterday 20:49

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite sounds like you’ve gone through a lot. I’m sorry and will be thinking of you xx

Starsandmoonalways · Yesterday 21:19

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite thank you, you’re right. It’s still bit early to look for hcg effects.

Sending lots of positive vibes and big virtual hugs to everyone. It’s extremely helpful to hear your experiences and I wish it was easier - if not the necessary parts, at least for the testing and interpretation ❤️ @PlanBFertility26 @mumtrovert @Sheffters@Blueskycat @KP1091

I did go for PGT-A testing because my eggs weren’t that ‘young’ (when I was 37 y/o) and out of the 2 blastocysts only one was euploid.

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · Yesterday 21:21

@ivftraineethat’s really kind of you 💕.

And wow yes that really validated your decision to do PGT-A testing with those 5AAs.

You are right the stats at this point are reassuring 😅, let’s hope we are all on the good side of the stats 💕🙏🏻💫
