Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite 😂😂😂 atta girl!! That sounds great. No I just don’t think I’ve really felt any twinges this time and I have in previous positive cycles. I’ve had moments of a sharp pain, a couple of times it’s made me jump, but probably only 2 or 3 times and nothing since. Just feels like there’s a lack of activity down there 🙈 I know it’s still so early though but you can’t help but compare to previous attempts.

I just had my lining scan, annoyingly it’s not quite there yet, 6.6, so will have another scan next week, hopefully it catches up by then, this has happened before so fingers crossed. I was worried for a moment they were going to cancel the transfer because they thought they saw fluid in one of my tubes but apparently not!

@mumtroverthow are you doing symptoms wise think your transfer was the day before mine , I can’t stop symptom spotting so glad it’s the weekend so I can’t take my mind off it😂

@jenk91 ahh that’s annoying. Sounds very similar to what @Blueskycat had with the fluid scare too! Drink beetroot juice in the mornings and it’ll help with your lining. Hopefully it won’t take too long 🤞🏼

@Lucky444 honestly I’m already convincing myself I’m out! I feel like in past positive cycles I’ve had twinges and pulling sensations for the first few days. This time I’ve had a couple of short sharp pains but really nothing else. Bit crampy, sore boobs, but I had those before transfer so I know they’re definitely progesterone. I have a wedding all day tomorrow so that’ll take my mind off it too. How are you doing?

@CMGC how are you coping with the wait? Any signs?

@mumtrovertI’m the same I’ve not had anything that’s really stood out I had really intense lower back pain yesterday but that was only 1 day past transfer 😂 and earlier today I thought I was feeling things in my stomach but also think I’m just imagining it and was probably just my bowels haha not had anything that’s sharp pains or anything but still keeping my fingers crossed . Ye a wedding will definitely take your mind off have a nice time !

@Lucky444 I do this all the time where I feel like I feel things but it’s when I’m thinking about it, so I’m convinced I’m making it up 😂 fingers crossed for us both 🤞🏼

Same as ladies. Serial symptom spotter here 🙋🏻‍♀️ It's hard though and the progesterone mimics so many symptoms. I thought I felt a twinging/pulling sensation earlier but then it went. Eugh.

Feeling nothing 🤣 and thankfully I have plans for every single day until the blood test which im
hoping will distract me from over analyzing! Including a road trip and a 42km cycle and a hike. (Which I’ll attempt to do with many tea breaks ha!Hopefully I’m not overdoing things but not good when I’m idle I’d be spiralling I think

For both my positives, I knew it had happened. Had this weird electric shock feeling and then felt like someone was tugging my inwards out. Grim but only way I can describe it. Both at 4dp5dt. Just praying this one makes it this time 🥰

@PlanBFertility26 I feel like my telltale sign is always waking up in the night to wee! Funny how we all have different ways of knowing.

@CMGC thank you for thinking of me! I’ve been trying to not spend too much time on the internet and keep busy so things feel as normal as possible. Everything looked good at our baseline scan earlier this week and we’re starting stims tomorrow - excited to be moving one step further forward.

@roamingcat completely understand this. The internet can be an echo chamber of things that aren’t always helpful ha! Best of luck starting stims tomorrow xx

@jenk91 yes i had a very similar experience with my lining/fluid last week and was so worried. Sorry you’re in this position too- it turned out ok though and really hoping it does for you too. My lining was 6.4 last Friday, and when they scanned again on Monday it had grown to 7.5 over the weekend. They also saw some fluid but have happily scheduled my transfer for Sunday. I drank lots of beetroot juice- who knows if it did anything but it felt very nourishing! Are you doing medicated or natural transfer?

The trigger shot is barely visible now so going to try and not test until Tuesday. OTD is next Friday the 26th. I had twinges yesterday but nothing today. I hate this time!

@Blueskycat oh wow your lining really grew a lot over the weekend! That’s good to hear, hopefully mine does too, I’m doing medicated so they’ve added estrogen patches, and I have a whole week until next scan, so fingers crossed!

I’m only 3 days past transfer but I don’t think it’s worked woke up in a mood for no reason and I’ve got like PMS moods like I’m coming on my period 🙄

I’m all over the place. Sometimes I think maybe it’s worked, but 80% of the time I’m convinced it’s not. 😂🫠

Same boat here. My emotions are all over the place, I have no patience and I just want the world to leave me alone. I am also convinced that it hasn't worked. I spoke to my husband this morning about using donor eggs if we can afford to do this again which I doubt we can.

@jenk91 ah that’s great you have the patches too, and a week is a really good length of time. C’mon lining!

Sorry to hear about the post-transfer emotional rollercoasters so many of you are on, the uncertainty is so tough… we’ve all been through so much to get to this stage! I’ve got everything crossed for you all, hang on in there 🤞🏽🙏🏽✨

What days are people on post transfer?

I’m 5dpt today. I keep thinking eff it, might aswell take a test because I’m pretty convinced it’s not worked. But I won’t yet.. I’m going to hold out until Thursday. Maybe just to even keep the hope alive.
I still have like a mild period pain all the time, my boobs are sore, but I know that’s all progesterone. I’m not feeling too confident tbh 😞😞

I had my transfer this morning, last embryo all aboard! Such a relief that it thawed ok. Felt strange having it on a Sunday but the clinic was nice and quiet.

Sorry to hear you’re not feeling confident @mumtrovert. It’s so hard to know what’s going on with all the medication symptoms too. Makes sense to hold out til Thurs if you can for more certainty but easier said than done…
How was the wedding yesterday? Do you have much to keep you busy the next few days?

I’ve not got sore boobs at all they’re fuller but not sore and I never get period pains so I don’t even know if I’ve had period type cramps or just my bowels 😂 but I’ve seen some people get no symptoms at all and get a bfp so I don’t think symptoms can be a definitive answer . I definitely don’t have any symptoms . I had one episode of loose bowels today which again I usually get before a period TMI sorry but other than that literally nothing . I’ll be testing Wednesday I think. I’m going away with my partner for his work so I know I can’t test for the next few days wouldn’t want to potentially give him bad news while he’s working. Let’s try to keep hope and keep positive we’re still pregnant until proven otherwise🩷
