@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite oh my gosh that is a serious bruise, poor you! Really glad they got smaller after that, thank you and @TheNavyFatball for sharing. Mine are only small, I was just worried because I didn’t get bruising from any other injections.

@PlanBFertility26 really sorry to hear about your spiralling, the waiting is such a mental challenge and you’ve had a long journey to get here too- I can see why the uncertainty and limbo feels unbearable. I am a test avoider so don’t have any experience to share but echo what others are saying that it’s really early days so hard to get reliable results, especially outside of first thing in the morning when hcg concentration is highest. Thinking of you and hoping you can get out in the garden or do something else nice today to distract you, even if it’s just for a few mins!

PlanBFertility26 · 18/06/2026 09:04

Thanks all for checking in. Test still faint but ever so darker than yesterday and usually I’d have negatives by now. So for now, I’m pregnant. Now the fear of miscarriage begins. It’s never bloody ending!

I am so emotional today! Everything is bringing tears to my eyes. This happened in last pregnancy but I guess it could just be the progesterone at this point. Argh! Symptom spotting at its finest!

PlanBFertility26 · 18/06/2026 11:01

@Sheffters has your trigger gone?

OP posts:
Sheffters · 18/06/2026 12:28

@PlanBFertility26 no not yet! Still a faint line but can definitely see it. Eugh.

InWithPeaceOutWithStress · 18/06/2026 12:39

@KP1091 @PlanBFertility26 how are your lines progressing?

I am in faint line hell. 17dp5dt today.

I phoned my clinic to request I stop my meds and book in for my next transfer as my pregnancy clearly isn’t viable. I’ve sent them a picture of my test on the app which they’ll review and get back to me to confirm.

I bought a cheap test from Tesco which has lower sensitivity (25iu/ml) and weirdly it’s a stronger line than the easy@home (10iu/ml).

Still nowhere near what it should be so hoping I can stop progesterone, let it resolve, and move on to the next transfer.

I think my clinic have managed this terribly. Firstly by having the OTD at 14dpt, and then for not offering beta hcg blood tests - leaving me in limbo for so long & delaying my cycle when a chemical could have been diagnosed by now.

PlanBFertility26 · 18/06/2026 12:41

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress mine are super faint and still protecting my heart in case it’s a lingering pregnancy

that line looks good, if was chemical it should be reducing every 48hrs. I’d personally pay for private bloods for you but can’t remember if you said that isn’t an option.

OP posts:
InWithPeaceOutWithStress · 18/06/2026 12:52

@PlanBFertility26 im 17dp5dt though - 22dpo. The test line should be equal to the control line by now surely…?

I’ve actually ordered two postal hcg tests. I thought even if I don’t use them this time, I could use them next time. Haven’t arrived yet though.

Lucky444 · 18/06/2026 13:00

@InWithPeaceOutWithStressHope you’re okay your clinic may not let you stop because the test is still positive you might need some HCG blood tests potentially with the early pregnancy unit to see what is going on they wouldn’t be able to diagnose a chemical without having blood tests or a negative test and I know some clinics aren’t licensed to do them , hope you get some clarity so stressful 🩷

mumtrovert · 18/06/2026 13:14

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress it is ridiculous they’ve left you in this limbo for so long, when all it takes is a simple blood test to see if it’s rising or falling or even doubling as it should. I can understand though why they couldn’t just tell you to stop meds.. technically it is still positive and they would be in so much shhhh if they told you to stop but it was viable. You’d only ever know by A) time or B) bloods!

InWithPeaceOutWithStress · 18/06/2026 14:48

Thanks all. The clinic have responded to say that as I’ve had bleeding (I’ve been bleeding a little each day for 5 days) and repeated faint tests, they class it as a negative so I can stop meds. They’ve advised me to test again in a week - I guess to check it’s not ectopic.

Kind of a relief that I can move on from this cycle now and accept it didn’t work.

KP1091 · 18/06/2026 15:02

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress
my lines have stayed the same. Barely visible.
frustratingly a less sensitive digital is still positive

it’s just making me so sad. I feel pregnant. I have symptoms. But I’m almost certain it’s a chemical pregnancy.

my clinic have also been very poor. Test day varies between 13 and 14dpt and they won’t discuss until then. They also don’t do beta.
so test day is Monday and I’ll see what they say but I’m trying to prepare myself

mumtrovert · 18/06/2026 15:05

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress glad you’ve got some closure & I really hope you’re next one is more successful.

@KP1091 I’m sorry you’re also in limbo. I hope your clinic can offer you some bloods when you chat on Monday or your tests are more conclusive. Sending hugs

PlanBFertility26 · 18/06/2026 15:41

Sorry to hear of both your outcomes. Sending hugs

@Lucky444 glad your transfer went ok, congrats on being PUPO!

@Starsandmoonalways welcome aboard, hope you can feel less isolated here ❤️

I feel everyone’s lubion pain now, I’m so bloated and sore after only 2 days! Although to be fair I’ve started several meds all at once so maybe I can’t blame lubion… Is anyone else on Clexane bruising badly?

@mumtrovert first day of waiting done! I’d forgotten about the analysing every twitch feeling that comes after transfer, I like your technique of scoring out of 10 might pinch that 😂

Yes the lubion pain is like no other. And I was also on clexane during egg retrieval and for bad bruising from that so I can also relate! Must be tough doing clexane and lubion together as I found them the two toughest

InWithPeaceOutWithStress · 18/06/2026 18:43

Oh no, sorry to hear you’re going through this too @KP1091. It’s so hard not seeing that progression.

If I get round to it I’d like to put a complaint in to my clinic about their processes, the late OTD and lack of betas, for women going through chemicals.

KP1091 · 18/06/2026 20:06

Thanks everyone. Hope everyone else is doing well.

@InWithPeaceOutWithStress I put a complaint in after our last transfer because it was a shambles from start to finish.
it’s sad that they don’t provide a bit more care. It’s a day at work to them. But it’s my, and my family’s future.

really not sure we can afford any more cycles so feeling pretty down but will see what happens.

sorry you haven’t had the outcome you hoped for. Virtual hugs to you

mumtrovert · 18/06/2026 20:35

Absolutely put in complaints! That’s the only way things will ever change. To be honest I think my clinic is quite ‘basic’, but even they gave me betas during my chemical (they’re not offered otherwise though!)

2dpt and already convinced myself I’m out 😫🫠

Zeeha · 18/06/2026 20:36

Hi everyone. I hope you don't mind me joining late! I'm having my first frozen embryo transfer on Monday. I have a two year old daughter through assisted conception and a one year daughter from the fresh transfer of a 5AA embryo collected in the same cycle this frozen 4AA embryo was from. I'm following the same preparation as before, with vitamins, micro aspirin and the IVF meds. I've also added ALA as this helped me resolve a SCH in my previous pregnancy. Hoping we get lucky again this time 🤞

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 18/06/2026 21:31

I’m so sorry@InWithPeaceOutWithStress❤️‍🩹 and that your clinic made this even harder with their policy. If you do have the strength to complain I would.

@KP1091I am thinking of you and hope you get more clarity on your test day and the clinic can offer some help on testing. I just can’t understand a policy of no betas

@mumtroverthang in there it’s too soon to tell! 2dpt I scoffed down a five guys at 1145am (promise this is out of character), was aggressively full afterwards and then panicked I had fucked it up by eating so much? I even tried to google it 🤦🏻‍♀️😂. Did you also eat a five guys too quickly or is there something else you’re thinking of?

@PlanBFertility26this sounds promising ✨💫 and I completely understand about that meaning entering the next stage of fear and worry. I’m right there 🤗

Welcome @Zeehaand I hope everything goes as well for you on Monday 💫. The ALA for SCH sounds interesting. How are you feeling?

PlanBFertility26 · 18/06/2026 21:36

@PlanBFertility26 no not yet! Still a faint line but can definitely see it. Eugh.

How many dpt are you?

Sheffters · 18/06/2026 22:02

Thinking of you all. @PlanBFertility26ihad the transfer on Monday morning so I guess that makes me 3dpt x

Lucky444 · 18/06/2026 22:44

@KP1091
the reason some clinics don’t do hcgs is because they’re not licensed to. Typically if they’re querying an ectopic pregnancy that’s dealt with by the specialist at the early pregnancy unit . The NHS rarely accept blood tests / scans from private clinics they ususlly make you repeat them . So having them all at a private clinic would delay your care . If it’s a faint test on test day then they typically advice to wait for a negative to make sure it’s not ectopic or again to refer to early pregnancy unit because they’re the specialist that deal with that depending on symptoms etc . Fertility and early pregnancy are separate as everyone knows there’s lots of different versions of when a pregnancy doesn’t go as planned which is why it’s monitored closely by specialists elsewhere typically . For the clinics that do hcgs if anything was off with them they’d get referred straight to the hospital . But I know it’s frustrating if you wanted to just track your level I think there is private places that can do them but I’d steer away incase they’re not qualified to interpret them properly x

Sheffters · 19/06/2026 07:27

@PlanBFertility26 the faintest if faintest line today. The trigger should be gone tomorrow I hope. In all fairness, people who aren't on the IVF journey would definitely see it as negative but we have trained eyes! 😂

PlanBFertility26 · 19/06/2026 07:57

My test is defo darker today so I think must be a true positive
