June IVF/FET 👶 🌟 ❤️

Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

@mumtrovert had some electric shock type feelings and cramps yesterday. Nothing since. But in all honesty, my belly is so incredibly sore from Lubion it’s hard to tell!

@PlanBFertility26 ahh I’m really hoping your brain is just too preoccupied to notice the smaller stuff. Keeping everything crossed.

@PlanBFertility26 my trigger was 9 days ago on the 8th June x

@Sheffters Mine was the 6th June. So 11 days today. Thought would be gone by now

@mumtrovert all good thank you! lines now dark but no betas so just a scan in 3 weeks

Things I did if helpful: socks constantly (warm feet, warm uterus), acupuncture before & after, lots of beetroot and chicken broth, breathing - if you flutter your lips when breathing out, it’s supposed to be really good (no idea!), on youtube there’s 5 implantation poses which is quite good and simple and takes less than 10 mins

@PlanBFertility26 I feel like that’s hopeful if you still have faint line so long since trigger plus electric shock and cramps sounds positive! Don’t count yourself out yet!

@PlanBFertility26 I’ve never had a trigger but that does seem like a long time!! Hopefully it’s your own hCG keeping it around and it’ll get darker from tomorrow 🤞🏼

@Sheffters everything crossed for you too! Will you keep testing daily or stop once the trigger is gone?

@ivftrainee fair enough! I didn’t have any betas either with my DS. Hope the wait goes quickly. Thank you for the tips!

@mumtrovert I am a serial tester! I need to reign it in after it disappears for sure.

TW - test.

This morning I used a test with sensitivity of 10 which is when saw the very faint like.
just done a clear blue which is 25 and attached photo.
I know I should just be patient but I’m going to be Heart broken if that’s a positive.

Update - I am a lunatic and did another test around 3hrs after that one. Different test. Completely negative. So now I’m spiralling.

@PlanBFertility26 it’s so stressful isn’t it because you’ve had the trigger I would try and hold off testing for a few more days and see how you get on you’re still early for testing so there’s still hope 🤞🏼

Thank you everyone I’m now PUPO I’m going to test 7dpt so will be next Wednesday. Hope I can wait until then🩷

Also had an awful experience with acupuncture I got really intense electric shock / nerve type pain on quite a few points so not going back for my evening session and I’m not someone with a low pain threshold not sure if the lady inserted the needles too deep I’m only petite I know usually people don’t feel anything but atleast I tired it 😬

Hi everyone. First time posting here. My first FET (one and only euploid from my frozen eggs at 37, am now 41) this Friday. I didn’t anticipate how isolating this can be albeit self imposed because I don’t feel like talking to anyone about it except my husband and two friends who’ve been through it. And the shitty bit in addition to the medications (which btw Lubion is bloody painful), I feel bloated and am told to act like I’m pregnant (diet, exercise restrictions) but I’m not! Sorry, a bit of a rant. The hormones don’t even make me bitchy, just intermittent sadness. I have the utmost respect for everyone who’ve been through it. ❤️

@PlanBFertility26 please try not to spiral. Your urine would have been so much more diluted with the later test and it could also just be the trigger leaving. You are still early to test, sending support.

I resonate with every word of this!! First of all lubion is a b! Glad it’s not just me who finds them hard to tolerate! And also I’m really struggling with the bloated look and. Or being able to excercise as I’m an active fit person and as u said I now look pregnant and have to act like it too by being cautious around excercise. It really does put your life on hold for a bit and it’s hard to even make plans !!!
very unforgiving but hopefully it all be worth it for all of us🙏🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Lucky444 yaaay glad everything went well. Congrats on being PUPO! I’m planning on testing the day after you. Sorry to hear about your acupuncture! She must’ve been too close to a nerve? I’ve had that a couple of times but once she’s moved it a little it’s gone. I don’t feel them at all after she’s placed them.

1dpt for me. Feeling bloated, not felt much in terms of twinges. Sometimes I’ve thought I’ve felt a sharp type feeling, but I’d score it a 2/10 so I also think I’m imagining it 😂 long way to go yet

I feel everyone’s lubion pain now, I’m so bloated and sore after only 2 days! Although to be fair I’ve started several meds all at once so maybe I can’t blame lubion… Is anyone else on Clexane bruising badly?

@mumtrovert first day of waiting done! I’d forgotten about the analysing every twitch feeling that comes after transfer, I like your technique of scoring out of 10 might pinch that 😂

Can’t believe I forgot my most important update… I wore a floaty summer dress earlier on and highly recommend the freedom from waistbands for any bloated and jabbed stomachs! I honestly thought of you all and how I had to share the good news 🤣

@Blueskycatdid somebody say clexane bruising? 😂. That was after my first jab! I bent over about 30 mins after the jab and it was sore and I saw that 😂. That’s probably the most impressive one I’ve had, I’ve just now got lots of thumb sized ones

@PlanBFertility26I’m so sorry about it your spiral, but don’t count yourself out yet. You’re only 4dp5dt. I did an early test and got so burned it wrecked me. The later tests you did today will be more diluted. Do you have any first response early result tests? Reddit IVF’ers were saying they were the most reliable when I looked

@Blueskycat@SlightlyTerrifiedButPoliteI am all bruises from clexane! I find it so stingy, def the worst one. I’ve changed from Lubion pre-filled syringes to the one you draw up and change to needle, and it’s much nicer!

@ivftraineegood luck for your scan, mine is a week on Saturday and I’m trying to just forget about it because I’m too nervous already.
although I’ve had three betas so that’s a bit of reassurance but I know it doesn’t mean much in the longer term! How are you feeling?
