May IVF - anyone else having their first or another round this month?

Hello! I’ve been following these boards for a couple of months, having initially said I’d not put myself through IVF (as the odds are pretty low at my age), I’ve somehow found myself starting my first cycle this month. I’m 42 so not expecting miracles. If we are successful, this would be our second baby.

had my fresh transfer yesterday, so now the wait begins 🥹 we had 2 to freeze so feeling very grateful for that

Me and my husband are hoping for an FET next month, we will resume in a July. I want to let my body rest, enjoy some good foods and exercise. The waiting game is on, I just hope all the prep has helped our eggs, I feel so sorry for those 3 that were immature! 💗 it’s just really sad.

Just done my trigger - after 15 days of stims...I hate being a slow responder!! Egg collection is Thursday x

Thank you! Feeling incredibly tired and really sore boobs but that’s been the case since day 2 of progesterone, so at least it stops me from symptom spotting too much 🙈 my clinic test day is 12dpt next Saturday with bloods and I’m planning to hold out to test until that morning 😬

It’s possible that I am going to have to delay yet again. I had my day 1 scan today and I have a small cyst. I know it’s just a follicular cyst (I’m a sonographer and scan myself sporadically and it’s new), but if it’s oestrogen producing we can’t go ahead this time. So frustrating. It’s starting to feel like something is just telling us not to bother!

I mean I’ll see how the willpower holds out 🙈 I’ve had an ectopic before (not ivf) so think I’ll find waiting a few days for bloods with clinic really hard if I test much earlier!

Nope we’re back on! I had bloods to see whether it was producing eostrogen and as it’s not I did my first injection last night. Hope you’re doing okay in your wait!
