Any peeps having IVF/ICSI/FET in Dec.
I am due to start meds 1st Dec this will be my frozen transfer from my 2nd cycle in August have stocked up on beetroot and pomegranate juice, looking for any tips 🙏🏼

I just have to wait until scan on Monday for my day 12 of stims scan x

@ivfjourneyandme I didn't get a report. But I remember there are 5 above 17mm, 4 above 10mm and a couple around 8mm. Potentially 9 will be collected if all good?
I'm taking my stims today and tomorrow, so hopefully some follicles will catch up until Monday.
Just out of curiosity which clinic are you with?

Thanks @Cosyseason1234 I think I just feel like I've been waiting so long and every time I get close something happens to delay things again.

They didn't mention OHSS. If anything I think they think I'm not responding well? They are very negative every time I talk to them. Although maybe it's my anxiety over the whole thing that's making me read it that way!

Having had a bit of time to reflect I'm trying to see the positives. Not having to resit testing over Christmas will definitely make it less stressful and more fun. And I might even allow myself a glass of wine or two.

@Harshtruth1111 glad you are going ahead as planned. How many follicles do you have? Best of luck to you and @OrientalPinkLily for your triggers and collections!

@spamOFtheDAY EC was weds, and should be doing fresh transfer Monday if all is well.
Yeh 1st round. I have a DC already naturally conceived but then had an accidental ectopic 18m ago (we were planning on trying for another in the near future so started TTC immediately after) and nothing since. My one remaining tube is on the side I have an ovary covered in cysts.

Quick question - have CM at the minute, very typical of ovulation CM and I’m CD 11. Can the drugs in on cause this? Worried I’m going to ovulate!

This was another one I had anxiety about 😂 @ivfjourneyandme google egg white discharge ivf,it’s a very good sign that your estrogen levels are high and your body is working hard to make those eggs 🥚

Yep @ivfjourneyandme I asked the same question previously! Was all good with me, didn't mean anything was wrong and I didnt ovulate early 🙂

This morning I woke up 2 hours late for my morning injection (ganirelix, which stops me from ovulating). I had a very hard week with very little sleep and I just slept through my alarm :( The panic was real. I did the injection straight away (in tears, thinking I've messed everything up) and then read the leaflet which says that you shouldn't exceed 30hours between injections (I was at 26 hours). I calmed down after that, but I can't say I'm not thinking about it, I am just hoping I didn't ovulate.
I just did my trigger injection (last injection for this round, yaaaay) for EC on Monday at 9:30.

Hi @OrientalPinkLily i completely forgot my first ganirelix injection 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t know how when IVF has been all I’ve thought about for months 🤣 but I took it 16 hours later when the nurse reminded me and all was well I got 18 eggs at EC. Notify the clinic but I’m sure it won’t be an issue at all!

Oh no @OrientalPinkLily, that must have been super stressful! At least you woke up not too much later.

How are you feeling about EC? Hope you are feeling prepared.

I've got my last scan tomorrow so hopefully will find out if EC is going ahead on Tuesday.

My CM has been on a wild ride the past couple of weeks @ivfjourneyandme definitely not doing what it normally does!
I have seen some people take a probiotic supplement which I might add to the small mountain of pills I'm taking every day.

@PrincessofLiechtenstein I think I am prepared. I am a little nervous about it, mostly because of the logistics... I have to be in the clinic at 8am and we are 1hour and 20mins away. We also have a toddler and nursery opens at 7:30. I'll get a taxi and be there for 8am and my partner will come after he drops our little off. It's a bit of a faff but we'll manage.

@ivfjourneyandme I second what everyone else has said, CM is crazy...

@OrientalPinkLily that sounds quite challenging! Hope that it all goes to plan in the morning. Sending loads of good vibes your way.

Had my last scan this morning with a male registrar which took me a bit by surprise! Wasn't the most comfortable but at least it's not as invasive as a smear! Would have been nice if they'd told me when I booked, I would have worn a bigger skirt 😂

I think things are looking ok for a trigger tonight and EC on Tuesday. Having the extra days of stims has helped a few laggardly follicles to catch up a bit which was what they were hoping for. They will call me later to let me know the plan.

Thinking of everyone who is expecting news tomorrow. 🤞🤞🤞 that follicles are growing, eggs are waiting for collection and embryos are developing well.

I have egg collection tomorrow.
Had my trigger injection yesterday.
Hoping I don't have ohss.
The nurse on Friday was sure that they would need to freeze my eggs due to large volume of follicles.
Hoping it all goes ok.

Sounds like a few of us ending up with freeze all cycles @Harshtruth1111 hope you are feeling ok about it?

My googling has turned up some studies that suggest implantation success in a cycle without EC improves by 10%, offset against 2% of embryos that don't survive the freezing process. Not quite sure what that really translates to but at least it dosent seem to hurt chances.

R: 19,18,17,12,10,9,7,6
L: 19,18,17,16,15,14,11,11,11,10,7,6

I don't think anything less that 10 is in contention but thought I'd post them as I know that I've found it quite helpful seeing where other people were at.

Thanks! @ivfjourneyandme It's definitely been highs and lows this week. The doctor on Friday was so negative about everything it really shook me, but from what they said today actually everything seems to be on track and I don't really get what was worrying her.

Trigger at 9pm tonight and EC 10am on Tuesday.

I should find out know the morning if and how many blasts made it to day 5. I've been glad to not have updates over the weekend since my last update was rather positive, but here I am now stressing wondering if they all stopped growing over the weekend! Don't know how I'm going to sleep tonight 😬

Just back from scan, waiting for report and plan once consultant have their meeting.

We’re day 12 of stims (tonight ) - think she said have one at 18 and two at 12. She’s thinking few more days of stims and go from there but risk the 18 being over mature?

We thought this bit would be the easiest bit and thought hardest would be once they’d collected eggs to see how many fertilised etc. were struggling to even get to that stage!

I have ovritrile tonight then on to pessaries this week 😬
@PrincessofLiechtenstein it's so annoying when one consultant feels negative, so glad you got a more positive experience

@Confusedddddddd have you had any update, I loved the fact my clinic only gave a day 5 update I couldn't have dealt with the calls every day for an update
