My first round 2 years ago - 14 eggs, 13 mature. 7 fertilised. 3 embryos at day 5... 1 fresh transfer (chemical) 1 FET (BFN) no 3 arrested and didn't survive the thaw. We didn't ICSI and I was told it was a low fertilisation rate. That we'd look for improvements on next round.
Round 2 (same stimulation protocol) 9 eggs, 7 mature and injected, 4 fertilised, 1 day 5 blast, fresh transfer ended in chemical. 2 sent for testing - aneuploid. On this round we added in calcium ionophore (AOH) , & progesterone support via Lubion)
We then paused to do loads of tests. EMMA, ALICE, endometrio, level 3 blood tests. Identified immune issues
3rd round ( increased dose as amh dropped from 9.4 to 6.4. Different protocol used Gonal F & Meriofert mix, identified immune issues, on steroids, blood thinners and immune protocol Intra lipid IV fluids, also on melatonin, continued with calcium ionophore & added Zymot, continued enhanced progesterone support through cyblogest & lubion)
12 eggs collected
12 mature & injected via ICSI
11 fertilised
7 blastocysts (5x5d and 2x6d)
6 sent for PGTA
1 fresh day 5 transferred untested - BFN
PGTA results - 3 normal euploid embryos
I swear you learn every round.
