That last thread filled up quickly without us noticing. So here is a new one for Scotland.

Thanks for getting back to me @Nosejug - I really appreciate it.

We got 7 eggs in total, 4 were mature and 3 fertilised (using ICSI). This was my second round (first round I conceived but miscarried at 21 weeks).

I was on their max protocol too as far as I know not sure if there's anything they'll change but I want to try again.

No word yet - hopefully it won't be much longer. Thanks again for replying.

Oh @ThatAmberSeal I am so sorry to read about your miscarriage. There are no suitable words. I was at high risk of late loss due to cervical issues and was being supported throughout by a psychologist which I’m grateful for. I really can’t imagine. I hope the nhs have looked after you.

So you’ll def get a third round as it’s just less than three eggs is the cut off (I got two in my second round despite lots of good sized follicles so didn’t get a third and went down the private route). I guess the only thing they’ll review is the meds but then your egg numbers (compared to me) are good. I think they meet every Friday, and I actually called them after my first three egg round as I was nervous and I believe they told me the outcome over the phone and the letter came a bit later. Maybe try give the reception a call?

Thanks @Nosejug we did a postmortem and the NHS did tests but there was no cause and the consultant said they wouldn't expect it to happen again if I were to conceive. We got counselling through a charity that the bereavement midwife referred us to as well.

I have been worried that I might not get another cycle and it was really disappointing to not have anything to freeze again.

No word yet so I think I'll get back in touch next week if I don't hear anything.

You were spot on @Nosejug that it's slow then suddely you jump in.

They couldn't get a bleed to occur as endometrium super thin so instead just started from 0. I am now Day 3, GnRH Antagonist cycle. On 150 menopur, 300 gonal F, 0.25 Fyremadel. Feeling all sorts of weird in the abdomen - super gassy, lots of gargling, some ache like cramps.

Next scan and bloods is day 8, then they'll be daily from there and egg collection based on those results.

Ooh best of luck @IWillBeWaxingAnOwl ! I kind of liked the rhythm and purpose in taking all the drugs.i hope your tummy settles, i never had symptoms but never took fyremadel. Will be hoping for you.

We now have egg collection tomorrow @Nosejug so in the anxiety of "what if all the eggs are gone/shit". Aiming for fresh transfer on Sunday if they can, freeze if lining doesn't play ball (assuming any embryos)

12 is amazing! I hope it was a nice surprise when you woke up :) do take it easy the next few days as best you can. Are they being fertilised right away? Best of luck with the next 5 days if so! Sorry your lining wasn’t ready but better to know. Really hope your able to get a few on ice ♥️

Hey @Nosejug . No transfer as lining not good enough, but we managed to bank 2 embryos in the freezer - one 4AA, and one that lagged a little but caught up to be a 4BB. Now just waiting on a bleed/"period" (What's one of those?! Haven't had one in almost 5 years 🤣).

Oh goodness that’s brilliant @IWillBeWaxingAnOwl !! That’s a strong position to be in, though sorry about the lining. Making embryos was always my issue so I don’t know much about linings. Have they given you advice or is it wait and see?

Have any of you sourced your Cyclogest Pessaries independently?
I need 7 more pessaries for our next transfer as I have some left over from previous transfers and don’t want to have to pay the £150 “processing fee” that our company charge if I don’t have to.
