Hi 👋

A thread for anyone who wants to discuss their Create Fertility experiences.

I'm 38, have had 3 egg collections with Create (2x natural modified and 1 x mild) and am about to go through my first FET following embryo banking and after having a Hysteroscopy and discovering I have thyroid antibodies...joys of fertility challenges.

@HopefulElle oh wow, so not long to go at all, do you know what sort of delivery you'd like? I'm 28 weeks now. Got a 4D scan this week which was exciting to see! @jolly86 how are you getting on?

@Sunflower360 not too long for you either! It seems to be going so quickly now. Ideally I’d like an unmedicated vaginal birth, but honestly just whatever is recommended as safest at the time. I’m having a growth scan at 36 weeks and again at 38 or 39, to try and help inform whether induction will be recommended. Apparently they don’t like IVF pregnancies to go overdue but will weigh up with baby’s size etc. I feel absolutely enormous currently so wouldn’t be surprised if baby came early of its own accord, but that may be wishful thinking! Have you been under
a consultant or just midwife? I’ve been midwife to date but saw consultant this week.

@HopefulElle yeah I would prefer unmedicated too if possible and water birth, but will see how it goes. I have another scan at 32 weeks so will decide a proposed birth plan from there. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes ok!

@VenusStarr glad this cycle is going better we will hopefully be able to start another cycle of IVF before Christmas 🤞🏻

I've got 3 frozen, 2x 5BB and 1x 4BB. So mad compared to how hopeless it was in February. I really hope the 2 we put back followed the same path and are settling in. Xx

thans @Sunflower360 @HopefulElle I am doing well! I am 31 weeks now and have a scan soon in 1.5 week time, so depending on how the baby looks hoping to make a plan. Baby is already quite low and head down but I think looking forwards while ideal is looking towards your back. I want to be in the main labour ward as opposed to the midwife unit though due to my first birth experience. Normally expecting vaginal birth but last time it was just too long and painful and finally helped via ventouse!

@Sunflower360 my consultant has changed the protocol slightly so this time I'll start on 300 IU Meriofert then switch to 150 IU Meriofert and 150 IU GonalF after a few days. Also had some spotting about 7 days post transfer so added another cyclogest pessary/daty just for good measure.

Thanks all! I ended up going into hospital for an induction Sunday night as baby was measuring big. My DD was born this morning with a little help from forceps at the final stage weighing a hefty 9 lbs 7 oz. She is just perfect.

Our transfer didn't work. Although we've got the 3 blasts, I think we're done now. I don't have the hope or energy any more.

@VenusStarr so sorry to read that. You've got 3 embryos frozen, and if I recall correctly, blastocysts, so hopefully one of them is the one

@VenusStarr so sorry about the result but why are you discarding the 3 blasts? they all have very good chances leading to a pregnancy
