Clomid private prescription

Before I conceived my daughter, we were referred through our GP to our local NHS fertility clinic. They then told us that they wouldn’t treat us until I lost weight. I went away, got my BMI down to what they wanted, only to be told by the doctor when we went back (a different one to the one we’d seen the first time) that my BMI was still too high. After a bit of a battle she agreed we could try clomid and I was lucky enough to get pregnant.

I would really like to try and have another baby (age not on my side) but am very wary of going through the same thing again. I’d like to try clomid again if I can. Can you get that through a private prescription?

@gtx1797h I hate it when this happens, it used to happen to me before I tracked ovulation using opks. If AF doesn’t arrive today I would test tomorrow.

Hey @Clomid1 im pleased to say after 12
months i got a positive test on Thursday
this would have been just cycle day 20 as my last period day 1 was on 14th December so right now I am just over 3 weeks pregnant
I only took a test because I had planned to have some investigations (early) at the doctors on Friday so I thought ill
just ‘double check’
anyway had a cheap stick and their was a VERY feint line I could see but OH couldn’t
I put on mumsnet and everyone saw the line so I used a frer which also came up
positive
so random as I know I only ovulated on Christmas Eve according to the CBF monitor!
anyway the tests are progressing nicely got a cheap one just now and we have a lovely strong line
plus of course I’ve used a selection of other tests to put my mid at rest!
this month I didn’t try the soy but November I did
who knows what happened but can just put it down to maybe being relaxed as I knew tests were happening
anyway we are delighted x

Just to add for anyone else reading the tests I was supposed to have was 21 day bloods so I know I was CD20 when I got my positive and 8/9 DPO I believe

@Clomid1 12 week scan on the 28th! All is well though big tummy already and have seen baby twice! Can’t quite believe it x

Hey @Clomid1 wow it has been a while thanks for checking in! I am sat here about to finish for mat leave and 26 weeks pregnant! Year has absolutely flown
very very low baby (it’s a boy)
just both feeling extremely grateful to be in this situation x

@gtx1797h Glad to hear you’re doing well. Not long left! Congratulations on your little boy! What do you mean by low baby? I thought they didn’t drop until nearer end of term?

I know right me too @Clomid1 just a constant low down pressure feeling. I have midwife appointment on Tuesday and all checks so far have been ok. Thankfully 😅 x

Reading this thread from start to finish has been so wholesome for me. Congratulations @gtx1797h for the pregnancy.

Could I ask you @gtx1797h . I know you said the month you got pregnant you took a break from the soy but had you been taking the soy or was it clomid for the year up until they point? Or did you take breaks in-between where you didn't take anything?
