@2021ivfagain yes I've been using daily vaginal probiotics, I have been using flora femme before and after the transfer, I did use a gynolact yesterday but will probably go back to flora femme with the positive.

@Gardenlady543 im going to wait till OTD as my partner would probably like to live in this limbo for a little longer! Whilst I don’t because I’m so sure I know the outcome. It’s so much harder than I imagined and almost thinking what have I started now. I’m thinking the Lap might be a good next step but I was wanting to have another transfer before my holidays but like I said don’t know if I could because of my cycle now after the prostap. I do believe the prostap down regs and calms the adeno and endo so I’m assuming I have some other issues now too.

Just blows my mind after 2 natural pregnancies but does seem like all these issues are caused from my second trimester loss. :(

@Gardenlady543 That’s great. I really like Flora femme. It’s the best one. I’m pleased you had a positive result. Did you restart probiotics 2 days after transfer?

@2021ivfagain daily from after the bleed stopped, only days I didn't use was the night before and night of transfer, then restarted.

I got my Juno microbiome results back. Good news is that my lactobacillus has increased from 0% to 38%. I’m now Community State Type 2 (Lacto Gasseri dominant), which is protective. But bad news is that I still have Group B Strep (35%). In Nov, my strep B was 46%. I’ll make an appointment to discuss with Juno but if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. I took coamoxiclav in Jan after detecting the step B in Nov.

The anaerobic bacteria (prevotella Tim.) is now gone, which is something.

@CailinInUK it's good that you have more lactobacillus, sounds like you need more antibiotics for the GBS though. Can they do a vaginal swab for microscopy, culture and sensitivity?

@Gardenlady543 thanks for replying. I didn’t want to directly tag and ask you we know you’re inundated with requests. And know you’re TWW too.
I can ask GP for microscopy, culture and sensitivity. However, last time I had to really persuade them to give me antibiotics as they said they don’t normally treat GBS. I’ll definitely try though. Wondering - can fertility consultant do the above/prescribe antibiotics for GBS?

@CailinInUK you can ask them to, essentially any doctor can do it, it's just whether they will. If it was there before and still there, then it will be useful to get the sensitivities.

@CailinInUK does GBS affect fertility at all? I know alot of women carry it naturally and it comes and goes, generally doesn't cause any issues until pregnant then may need iv anx in labour to protect baby but knowledge is lacking in fertility wise . It's one of the usual flora I think x

@Gardenlady543 thank you. I was given coamoxiclav as it was meant to target prevotella and GBS. Also took antibiotic for strep throat in Nov/Dec, which was when there was a penicillin shortage so was prescribed a substitute. I’ll follow up.

@kerrym87 thank you. Yes around 25-30% of women have it without any symptoms and main risk is during birth, like you say (I think you mentioned a while ago you’re in medical profession so probably know all this!).
There may be links between GBS and endometritis, pre term birth, etc, so I’d rather get rid/reduce it if possible. I think I’ll get an EMMA/ALICE done in next few months.

@Gardenlady543 I’m so sorry to ask another question. Are you on pred of clexane with your protocol? Now I’ve had another failed implantation I’m wondering if my Dr would be willing to prescribe it. If she won’t I’m tempted to get the lap. I hope you are doing okay.

I've been doing daily tests with frer and wondfu since 6dp5dt, they got a lot darker on 7dp5dt but are lighter today, 8dp5dt. So I don't know if hcg is has gone down or my urine was just really concentrated yesterday. I have taken blood to send to medichecks but won't get the result back until tomorrow or the day after.

@Loz2467 do you know the transfer hasn't worked, have you tested? my protocol was:
Meriofert 75units a day
HCG trigger
Inhixa 40mg from CD7
Prednisolone 25mg from CD7
Intralipids around day 7-11
Daily vaginal probiotic
Doxycycline 100mg twice a day for 3 days starting 2 days before transfer
Progesterone: PIO daily, cyclogest 400mg twice a day
Low dose naltrexone, been on for a few months
Hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day, been on for a few months

I also had LIT x4
Did acupuncture with daily moxibustion sticks before the transfer and had pre and post transfer acupuncture
Ate pineapple core from 4 days before until 4 days after transfer

@Gardenlady543 try not to worry, I freaked out on Sunday and HCG was great on Monday, so much is down to urine concentration. Maybe give it a few days and test again after your blood test result?

On another note, I have a dead lower leg since yesterday, called 111 and they said to go to the emergency treatment centre and they said it’s not a clot but I’m very worried it’s to do with oestrogen and what the impact might be of coming off…

@2021ivfagain my emma results just came as ultralow biomass microbiome but no bacterial infection and no charts. Did you know what that mean by any chance?thanks

@Mybabydream it means they didn't find dysbiotic bacteria, but they also didn't find much lactobacillus. You should take daily vaginal probiotics for 10-14 days, I'd recommend using balance activ daily for the first 7 days of them.

indeed what was recommended is that i take 10 days of vaginal probiotics before start of cycle where i would have FET. I bought canesflor and usually take oral optibac , do you think those are good choices?

@Gardenlady543 I’m sorry you are worried about the tests. I only tested once at 14 days when I got pregnant but I was too scared to test earlier. You are really brave. I also found that the tests are darker when I used first morning urine. That is what my clinic told me to do.

@CailinInUK That sounds like a good result. In my experience with swabs, there is always one issue. I have had a problem getting hold of antibiotics and have had to order them myself. In fact, I am waiting for a swab to come back from Invivo. In the meantime I’m on daily probiotics, but I will need to purchase vaginal clindamycin from online pharmacy just in case I need to take it before my transfer.

When you ordered Good Clean Love probiotics, how long did it take? Also did you have to pay a lot for delivery? I was trying to find out but it was not easy without buying it! Did you have any irritation from the probiotic? I have read it can cause burning.
