@Sar1010 you’ve pretty much hit the nail on the head there! It’s really starting to feel like and impossible quest for me. As soon as you think you got somewhere and you’re clear what you need to do and roughly how much you’ll need to spend, something new gets thrown into the mix and it’s so hard to know what to do every time. So yeah, I sadly have no idea what would be the best order of treatment, but rest assured you’re definitely not alone in feeling this way.
@Spin101 I’m not even sure what the difference between hyfosy, hycosy and HSG is and to be honest it’s the first I hear of hyfosy. That one she told me is when they put foam in your fallopian tubes so they can check for blockages on an ultrasound, but also the foam cleans up any build up she said. Is that the same a hycosy? I was looking at my clinic’s price list and hyfosy is the only procedure out of the 3 they offer.
Thank you @Gardenlady543 and @VenusStarr, I think I’m gonna bite the money bullet once again and go for it, although part of me is getting really concerned about finances and perhaps I should wait to know whether I’m definitely getting an annual bonus or not this year, which would mean waiting at least till the next cycle - confirmation is usually given some time in September.
@VenusStarr ah yes, I started seeing CRP after my rather costly single IVF round with CRGH failed with a confirmed euploid embryo (after being told no reasons for recurrent miscarriage was found and therefore put down to poor egg quality because of my age). I decided to look into the immune system as I couldn’t afford more IVF with PGS anyway and however pricey Dr Shehata’s treatment is it’s a fraction of IVF and more spread over time. I’m under the care of Dr Edge and find her absolutely lovely. This is my first cycle with them, initially wanted to go full natural, but decided on superovulation instead as as we haven’t tried naturally in a year and wanted to boost my chances a little. The found elevated NKC count and high toxicity, my plan is for intralipids and Pred. It’s only one failed cycle so far, but given how easily I gotten pregnant in the past and that I’ve definitely ovulated, I can’t already help but wonder after one attempt whether the protocol I’m on, albeit probably effective at preventing miscarriage, may end up stopping me getting pregnant in the first place. Such a minefield isn’t it?
Good idea to test out the trigger, haven’t thought about it this time, but will do next month as have a lots of cheap tests.
Did the clinic say that your faint positive at 12dptrigger was definitely residual trigger? When I had my FET I triggered with 10000iu of Gonasi and was assured it would completely leave my system within 10 days. I also had an HCG infusion as part of the transfer and was told that would leave my system within a couple of days. When I got a very faint but clear line and some HGC found in my blood at 8dptransfer the clinic told me it would have definitely been partial implantation and couldn’t have been residual trigger.
I still have all my hopes up for you testing Saturday ❤️ and if it hasn’t worked out, sounds like you have a plan. Keeping going is the only thing that’s kept me going so far.
@Janefx40 lovely to hear all went to plan for you and you had your DS ❤️ x
