@2021ivfagain Good question. Both Lubion and Inhixa say to store at up to 25 degrees. So far it’s definitely not been that hot or anywhere near, but once things start heating up I’ll probably store them in my guest bathroom which is the coolest room in the house and keep an eye on a digital thermostat. You’re not supposed to refrigerate them so it may well be tricky on really hot days.

Gardenlady543 · 01/05/2023 19:31

@2021ivfagain I have a room with a concrete floor where the curtains are always closed, at an angle that the sun doesn't come at it much, so I just leave all the room temperature medications in there.

@Loz2467 this is what I tell everyone else :) that all the studies look at the lining before Progesteone, progesterone does make it hard to measure or judge.

@Loz2467 if it were me I'd probably just add the extra cyclogest in, maybe ask your clinic if they're ok with it tomorrow? Are you going ahead tomorrow, if so best of luck and at least we'll be in the 2ww together.

How's everyone else doing?

@AM08 cautious congratulations 👏🏼

@Gardenlady543 keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼

@clhiu how are you getting on? Is test day coming up?

Only 4 days of bleeding post chemical over here and I think it’s done 🧐 would have expected more but not complaining. Hopefully ICSI will only be a week late in starting 🤞🏼

clhiu · 02/05/2023 08:39

@ChickenT2b when I had my chemical I only bled for the duration of a normal period and had some on an off light spotting a few more days, but went straight back into my next period like a regular cycle without extra wait so I hope you can move on with ICSI without delay.

My OTD is Friday apparently, 15dpt, but I decided to test tonight as an early detection one will definitely show. I had lots of nausea yesterday so hard not to build myself up for a positive outcome even though I know it could just be the progesterone. Having said that with my first 3 pregnancies I had nausea from a few days before a miss period/testing and the only time the nausea started a couple of days later was the only time I was on cyclogest so there’s that hope that I may not be that sensitive to progesterone nausea-wise. When I spoke to the clinic on Sunday about my rash they said I could go in for the BETA HCG test as early as tomorrow so may aswell test today.

Janefx40 · 02/05/2023 08:42

@clhiu good luck 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

Gardenlady543 · 02/05/2023 08:43

@clhiu what day is it today post transfer?

@ChickenT2b glad the bleed wasn't too bad. I hope you can start your cycle soon.

clhiu · 02/05/2023 09:03

@Gardenlady543 11dpt and 16dpo today.
How are you feeling after your transfer?

Gardenlady543 · 02/05/2023 09:07

@clhiu 11dp is a good amount of time I think a hcg blood test will be reliable from 9dp5dt.

I'm feeling ok, I need to rest and not do too much, I have the week off work, will be alone as DH is away for work now.

2021ivfagain · 02/05/2023 10:25

@clhiu Good luck. If you are 11dpt today, you will be 14dpt on Friday. CRGH always do this, but I think it’s good.

If you have symptoms, that is positive.

Loz2467 · 02/05/2023 22:28

@clhiu good luck with your test! Everything crossed!

I had my transfer today and was a much smoother process than last time although running a bit late and I was super desperate for the loo. It’s my first FET though and she called it an “expanding blastocysts” obviously I’ve come home and Googled and is a hatching blast better? Already feeling a bit deflated but I can’t have a TWW like last time as I was a nightmare.

Enfys23 · 03/05/2023 06:42

Glad all went well @Gardenlady543

Hoping for the best for you @clhiu

@AM08 whispered congrats, thinking of you today.

@ChickenT2b I think you’ll be able to go straight in with next cycle. Good luck 🍀

@Loz2467 my understanding is that expanding or v early hatching is the best stage for transfer. You want it to be hatched once it’s in. It is better for the embryo to have the protection for the transfer otherwise they are very fragile once hatched. Don’t let this play on your mind.

Gardenlady543 · 03/05/2023 08:29

That's great news @Loz2467 expanded is a 4 which this chart says is the best if it's AA/11, but I think expanded and hatching are pretty similar, I had a transfer of a hatched blast before as when they thawed it, it hatched out. They are more fragile.

Any news @clhiu

Just been for HCG bloods, luckily they were able to squeeze me in at my local satellite clinic. It’s not looking good for me though, this morning test with FMU hasn’t gotten any darker at all, possibly lighter in fact. Also I had lots of nausea all day Monday and nothing yesterday or today so far. I’m preparing for bad news when I get the call later.

@Janefx40 if you don’t mind me asking this, I saw on a different thread that you are 46. May I ask if your current pregnancy was achieved with own eggs and what age were you when they were collected if so? Thank you

Janefx40 · 03/05/2023 12:38

@clhiu good luck with the bloods. If you only tested last night then I wouldn't expect your test to be darker this morning. Honestly it isn't long enough for any progression and the different time of day makes it hard to compare (I had this in the past).

Yes I am 46 but it's awful saying it out loud!!!!!

Yes this embryo was made with my own egg collected aged 44 and 5 months. We did embryo banking and testing and this was one of 2 normal embryos.

Thinking of you today xxx

clhiu · 03/05/2023 13:36

Thank you so much @Janefx40 and sorry for disclosing and making you say your age our loud 😬. I cannot begin to tell you how much hope your experience gives me and how much it's helping. If I have some time to save some more money, maybe I can still attempt another round even if not for at least 6 months. xxxxx

Loz2467 · 03/05/2023 15:17

@Enfys23 @Gardenlady543 thank you! My clinic haven’t given any of the grades of my blasts/ embryos. They just said they selected the best looking out of the 5 and it was expanded. Kinda glad I don’t know then it doesn’t give me more anxiety. I haven’t got much hope because of this fibroid and adenomyosis to be honest. I know the down Reg definitely helps adeno and endo but then this fibroids just thrown me right off. Will just have to sit it out and I have 2 baby showers in my TWW which is just fab! 🙃

AM08 · 03/05/2023 15:32

@2021ivfagain im sorry that was his response and you don’t feel like you can complain - maybe try and have an honest chat about things at some point? I know easier said then done when all of the consultants are running around like headless chickens with patients.

@Gardenlady543 how are you doing in your 2ww?

@Loz2467 2 baby showers in your 2ww sounds intense, me and my partner have some of our close friends due their first baby the same week as we found out of results. Luckily we got a positive but otherwise would have had to mute WhatsApp channels.

@clhiu best of luck for your results today, try not to get too worried about line profession, I was so upset my tests were lighter on Sunday than they were on Saturday and then HCG on Monday was really good! Really hoping for a positive outcome for you.

I had my second Beta today, my consultant called and asked me not to come in for any more 😂 feeling relieved it was over 3000 but still analysing and worrying about every cramp plus my partner is on stag this weekend and everyone I know is busy so I’m going to be sitting in alone - didn’t think this one through…

Gardenlady543 · 03/05/2023 16:06

@Loz2467 Baby showers :( you're a stronger person than me if you can manage them, I would def being unable to go because [insert excuse].

@AM08 sounds like extremely good levels, you must be relieved and so happy.

Sorry (again) for being out of touch and struggling to keep up...

@clhiu and @AM08 Congratulations on your BFPs! Totally understand how nervewracking this time is, but really hoping this is it for you x

@Gardenlady543 and @Loz2467 I am glad your transfers went well. Congratulations on being PUPO and I hope your 2ww's go well. Wishing you all the very best, hope this is your time x

Love to everyone else too x

clhiu · 03/05/2023 17:01

Got my call and confirmed it’s allover, HCG is only 9.5 and was advised to stop the meds. They think it’s most certainly a chemical rather than residual infusion or trigger, that it probably started implanting then failed. I’m pretty sure I know it all happened when after 3 days of nausea it stopped and at the same time I had that intense headache. Glad I can stop the meds at least, but feel super empty. 8 months of this leading to nothing, I know many of you on here know the feeling. I’ll take a few days to process. Thanks everyone for your support and advice xxx

I'm so sorry @clhiu it's heartbreaking when this happens. Sending love x

Enfys23 · 03/05/2023 17:22

That’s great news @AM08 go embryo!!

@Loz2467 I agree with @Gardenlady543 I would definitely be making a polite excuse. If you can manage it then that’s of course fine but don’t put yourself through a stressful situation unless you are fine with it. You’re the most important person right now.

Enfys23 · 03/05/2023 17:23

I’m so so sorry @clhiu , cross posted. Sending love xx

Faithhopelove83 · 03/05/2023 17:50

I'm so sorry @clhiu , I know how devastated you must be. It's heartbreaking. Sending love ❤
