To be honest I have been feeling so tender/out of sorts that I had a feeling the injections were working! They asked if I wanted another test in a few days but I think I’ll be ok, I will be able to tell by my boobs if the levels are dropping!

They said to keep on going with the 2x jabs and the 6x Cyclogest 😱

I don’t mind really because it’s important to note that the 92 will have been the peak, taken once my morning’s injection had time to be absorbed. So it’ll drop throughout the day.

@Decaffe it'll be worth it just keep going. When is OTD?

MinBins · 29/11/2022 20:01

You're so strong for getting through the pessaries, injections and symptoms @decaffe Great news about the levels increasing too!

How is everyone doing?

Decaffe · 29/11/2022 23:37

seekingbabyk · 29/11/2022 11:31

@Decaffe it'll be worth it just keep going. When is OTD?

Oh gosh it’s miles away, it’s next weekend! Something like 20dpo, it’s like they have never heard of a FRER?!

One thing that’s concerning me a little is that every day since transfer I have had some brown spotting. At first it was mid brown and tonight it’s gone quite dark brown. Now usually this is exactly what happens around this time in my cycle, and I would dark-brown spot for a few days from here until AF arrives. But, my progesterone is so high now, surely it can’t be AF trying to start? I can understand a bit of spotting in the first couple of days after ET but it has been every day? Has anyone else had spotting every day post transfer?

And yes, how is everyone doing? Do we have any more collections or transfer coming up this week? ✨🤞🏻

seekingbabyk · 29/11/2022 23:42

@Decaffe 20 days!!!!! That's ridiculous! Any more tests you've done yet? My spotting started around 7dpt and just got worse and worse but tbh I have no idea what my progesterone levels were - I will ask for that when I do transfer though!

I'm good thanks @MinBins - how are you? Where are you up to now with waiting for next stages?

Decaffe · 29/11/2022 23:58

Yeah BFN this morning and afternoon on 10iu cheapies. I just feel like it’s all a conundrum right now, I have no idea which way to lean! Why is it still going and why is it getting darker?! Who knows 😂

seekingbabyk · 30/11/2022 00:15

@Decaffe how many days has it been since your transfer? Maybe the pessaries are irritating you?

Decaffe · 30/11/2022 00:19

5 days ago (well 6 now). I do all the pessaries in the other place 😳 because the vaginal ones really irritated me on my fresh transfer. I can really recommend it, much less hassle (apart from on one memorable day last week 😳😯🤭😂)

Tinkerbell098 · 30/11/2022 13:50

@Decaffe I'm sorry you are experiencing some spotting and no clue what's going on. Sorry I've never had this, but never had a FET/lubion before, so not sure what to say other than it's perhaps the extra hormones? Is it worth asking the clinic as perhaps other people have experienced this on Lubion? Interested to know what happened on this "memorable day last week?"

So my clinic has rung me back with their Christmas shut down plan. Basically, if I want an FET, I need to have my period by the 5th because their planned last frozen transfer is on the 20th. It is good timing because that means I can rest for a few days after and before all the Christmas stuff starts. Just need my period to start before then, which on a normal cycle it would, but the MC really altered my cycles quite a bit, so I have no idea when to expect it. Day 31 today.

Heya
Just catching up on what been going on on here. It is such a long and bloody nerve wrecking journey isn’t it.

Congratulations @Imisscoffee2021 on getting pregnant!! So happy for you 😊 I hope the first three months pass by without trouble and you can enjoy being pregnant to the fullest <3

@seekingbabyk I also suffered loads after the EC, I remember passing winds feeling like a sharp knife from the constipation ouch it’s just horrible. If we have to have another full cycle, I would also freeze any and not have a fresh transfer after what I know now. Your body is just bruised and battered.

I’m on my third attempt to put our 1 frozen embryo back in now. We started trying it with a natural cycle in Sept. The ovulation tests didn’t detect my ovulation day clearly so we had to abandon. Then we tried a medicated cycle with 2mg progynova. At the day 12 scan it turned out that my lining wasn’t thick enough and I was about to ovulate, which shouldn’t have happened. So had to abandon again. Now on our third cycle and on 6mg of progynova. And started jabbing so feel the pain of lubion injections haha. Transfer day is tomorrow. Fingers crossed it thaws okay! That the only worry now we made it so far. But I’m relatively calm these days. The first BFN really threw me. Then we went on hols and I almost forgot about things. Since then it’s just been running parallel to my busy life which is good. The FETs are defo a lot more easy going in that respect 😊

Oh I read some people also had a low number of embryos. I was also very sad that we only had 2 good embryos out of 11 fertilised eggs. On day 3 we had 5 left, and on day 5 it was only 2. I asked in the follow up consultation about that. The lady said the first 3 days of embryo development are generally down to egg quality, so my egg quality might be rubbish on to on my OH’s rubbish sperm. Day 4 and 5 development of the embryo is then down to sperm quality she said. I found that very interesting.

Anyway, send greeting and well wishes to all of you ❤

seekingbabyk · 30/11/2022 17:15

Hi @Honeybunie - wow that's a lot that's been going on for you! You seem really chilled and calm about it which is amazing. I'm keeping everything crossed for you that transfer all goes well tomorrow and sticks for you too!

I'm feeling completely back to normal now so it was about a week to be fully recovered. My nurse was also saying it can be worse as you go on as there's scar tissue on the ovaries too which can be sore. More prepared for next time now though!

Let us know how it goes tomorrow x

seekingbabyk · 30/11/2022 21:44

Girls any advice on how long I need to wait since EC to have sex? It's been 8 days. I'm reading conflicting information from 5 days to two weeks?

Imisscoffee2021 · 30/11/2022 21:54

Our clinic said a few days to a week! Like they were quite encouraging 😅 I think kts when you feel better and able to, and obviously any pain just stop etc. I couldn't imagine going near my husband for more than a week after, was so tender!

@Honeybunie thank you :) I had two small bleeds so I'm being am anxious first time pregnant woman, hoping that eases as time passes! Sorry that your FETS have had issues, but positive you're having a transfer tomorrow! Fingers crossed its the sticky bean! X

seekingbabyk · 30/11/2022 22:03

@Imisscoffee2021 up to now I definitely haven't fancied it but tomorrow is his birthday so if the mood takes us! Was more worried about healing/infection I guess but I think it'll be fine now :)

Hope you're still not feeling too rough x

Honeybunie · 01/12/2022 09:54

Hi
@seekingbabyk yeah it took me about a week to feel normal again too. Oh jeezzz scar tissue on the ovaries as you go on 🙈ouch! yeah once you've been through stuff once you have a hell of a better idea what to expect right. I was in so much pain after the EC that i even called the nurses which I'd never normally do lol.
@Imisscoffee2021 i can only imagine how scary it must be to bleed when pregnant so i feel for you. I'd be anxious too! One of my best friends who got pregnant naturally had a scray bleed very early on, she even went to A+E at the time, and she has a healthy 1 year old daughter now. These things can happen unfortunately. I hope yours are just a little hickup too.

We just had our first phone call of the day and it's being thawed. we get another to tell us whether it's okay or not. only then we have to leave and transfer would be in the afternoon then. fingers crossed the little munchkin makes it 💪x

Decaffe · 01/12/2022 10:18

Very best of luck for transfer day today @Honeybunie, I’ve got everything crossed for you. Keep us updated 🤞🏻

@Tinkerbell098 I’m willing your AF to arrive in the next few days! A transfer just before Christmas would be lovely 🥰 Oh trust me you don’t want to know about last week, it was memorable for all the wrong reasons. Just imagine what could possibly go wrong with six suppositories a day and I’ll leave it to your imagination 😂

@seekingbabyk have fun getting frisky today 😉

seekingbabyk · 01/12/2022 10:22

Good luck today @Honeybunie

@Decaffe omg I can only imagine! I feel like all dignity has gone! It makes me laugh when you have your scan and they pull the curtain round and tell you to undress and put the paper over you and I always think you may as well just stay in here lol!

Honeybunie · 01/12/2022 11:10

Thanks ladies ☺️ good news.. it survived phew! Transfer at 3:15 😊 xx

Imisscoffee2021 · 01/12/2022 11:52

Fab news @Honeybunie !! Let's hope you get a sticky bean for Xmas x

Decaffe · 01/12/2022 12:22

Hurrah! Enjoy your afternoon @Honeybunie 😊

As for me, 7dp5dt, no idea what’s going on. Brown spotting every single day since transfer. Admittedly this morning there is very little of it, but there’s still some. Sore boobs disappeared yesterday. BFN on tests. Just not sure what to make of it. Presuming I am out due to the negatives at this stage and the loss of progesterone symptoms, but at the same time not sure quite how I have lost the progesterone symptoms when I’m on two Lubion a day?!

badassmum22 · 01/12/2022 12:51

Hello, hope you don't mind me joining. I had my FET yesterday. Did you return to work following day after the transfer or took some time off? There seem to be mixed opinions online, some clinics suggesting resume to normal, some to stay home and rest for 3 days. Just wondering what everyone else is doing... I took a day off today but not sure about stretching to another day tomorrow.. Either way at least the weekend is nearly here.. x

Honeybunie · 01/12/2022 16:41

Just had the transfer and all went well. First time I asked what grade it was 😂 5BC today it was an hatchling 🐣😃 and my fresh one in summer was 4BB. We’ll fingers crossed.
@badassmum22 I just asked and all she said was take it easy, no heavy lifting and just think of yourself as pregnant now. Guess it depends on your job too. I wouldn’t wanna run around a lot for now but my jobs office based anyway.

How long did you guys not have intercourse after a transfer? They say it’s fine but I don’t trust that 😂

badassmum22 · 01/12/2022 17:43

Conragrats @Honeybunie
I'm also office based so will see about tomorrow.
My clinic said no sex until pregnancy test day. x

Honeybunie · 01/12/2022 17:49

Oh wow did they @badassmum22 ? Now that’s interesting that the advice can be so different 🙈

badassmum22 · 01/12/2022 17:58

I know, right @Honeybunie?
How are you planning to distract yourself durring TWW? Are you going to test early?
