Hi ladies! 👋
Just as the post says... cycle day 1 of my first IVF round, 20 days until I start Norethisterone then Menopur & Fyremadel.
Looking for others starting cycle or in the cycle for some company.
Sending lots of luck to you all! ❤️

@Tinkerbell098 yes it gives me hope that we are similar and we had EC and Transfer the same days! I’m glad they sorted the progesterone out for you! Now you can relax for the weekend. Fingers crossed for us!

@seekingbabyk thanks, I really hope it sticks! I’ve been pretty realistic about it so far as didn’t want to get my hopes up, but seeing that now just thrown me!

Decaffe · 07/10/2022 09:49

seekingbabyk · 07/10/2022 08:34

@Tinkerbell098 @1stcycle fingers crossed for both of you - really hoping for some good news on this thread!

Definitely! Please feel free to post pictures of your FRERs for us to help you examine! 😁🕵️‍♀️ I have got everything crossed for you!

In the acupuncture yesterday she asked if I can get to sleep after I wake up and I said no, never. She then told me the aim of the session was to clear my mind and promote relaxation. Well, today DH went to work, he has been bringing me a cuppa before he goes and usually that’s enough to wake me… I fell back to sleep! How strange is that!

Imisscoffee2021 · 07/10/2022 10:04

@1stcycle @Tinkerbell098 I've got so much hope for you too to get your positives!! Showing up on the less sensitive clinic test too is fab, mine was stark negative (clinic said I had to do it even though I was full on bleeding! Thursday seems miles away @Tinkerbell098 , are you going to keep testing on frers to check progression?

Imisscoffee2021 · 08/10/2022 09:05

Morning ladies! Cycle day 1 for me again today, will call the clinic on Monday and start taken oestrogen then too! Feels good to be on another cycle but sometimes have that sliding doors moment of wondering what I'd feel like if the first had worked, how many weeks would I be, how excited would I feel knowing there's a baby on the way! Hopefully not long now, every cycle another step closer to a baby and one further from infertility 🤞

@1stcycle and @Tinkerbell098 hope your lines are progressing today :) xx

seekingbabyk · 08/10/2022 09:15

@Imisscoffee2021 awww that's great news - got everything crossed for this one for you!

1stcycle · 08/10/2022 09:26

@Imisscoffee2021 that’s great news and exciting to start your cycle. I’m not sure on the process of FET so looking forward to hearing about your journey on this cycle! Fingers crossed for you!

This morning my tests are a little darker, I also did a clear blue because that’s the one I have to do tomorrow for the clinic so I wanted to prepare myself in case it was negative but it’s actually much darker than the FRER and came up straight away. I’m still spotting though, only when I wipe nothing on underwear, but clinic said it can be common so just got to keep an eye on it!

Tinkerbell098 · 08/10/2022 09:55

@Imisscoffee2021 great you get to start soon. Everything crossed for you that this is the one X

@1stcycle yey for tests getting darker. I might also try a CB. I have no change in the FRERs. But it’s still a line. So there is hope I guess.

seekingbabyk · 08/10/2022 10:05

@1stcycle that's great news! Fingers crossed x

Imisscoffee2021 · 08/10/2022 10:24

@Tinkerbell098 fab news you're still getting a line! And @1stcycle great news about the clearvlue they're not that sensitive so a line there is awesome :)

Decaffe · 08/10/2022 16:31

That is fantastic about the clearblue line @1stcycle, I have seen them be quite tricky on the boards so if you have a nice line there than that’s hopeful indeed! 💙

Brilliant to hear you’re back in the saddle @Imisscoffee2021. Best of luck for a calm and productive cycle 🧡 I know what you mean about a sliding doors moment. I actually had a chemical last year and I realised that the day I started bleeding from it was Oct 4th… the day of my Day 3 transfer this year… Oct 4th. Life is full of these mysteries and coincidences. I can’t say I believe in religion but I do have faith in fate, if that makes sense. I believe we are on the path we are meant to be on, even if it doesn’t feel like it at times.

@Tinkerbell098 I am thinking of you today 💚 and still have everything crossed for you

@seekingbabyk and @Spin101 hope you are having a relaxing Saturday and can take some me time 💜

Decaffe · 08/10/2022 16:42

Oh, and for posterity… my third embryo did make it to a blastocyst by Day 6. It was graded at a 4CD by the clinic and so I was advised the D grading (for the cells that would make up the placenta) made it not healthy enough for freezing. I love the way it battled on though. 🤍

(My clinic said that A/B grades are good, C is average and D is poor, so they don’t freeze anything with a poor. I have read online that the first letter (the cells that will become the baby) are more of a predictor than the second letter. Just sharing in case this is of any interest.)

seekingbabyk · 08/10/2022 17:04

Awww thanks @Decaffe - sorry your last one didn't make it but yes that's lovely it fought through! Had a lovely sunny day at the coast soaking up some vitamin d! Hope all of you are having a lovely weekend too x

Spin101 · 08/10/2022 17:43

@Decaffe thank you :) I’m sorry the third didn’t make it. I’m yet to make sense of the gradings. Hope you’ve been feeling well and been having a relaxing weekend!

@Imisscoffee2021 I’m glad to hear you’re starting on Monday. Like you say every cycle is another step closer to a baby 💜 I have my fingers crossed for you for your frozen cycle.

I picked up my meds this morning, and am hoping I will start stims at the end of next week.

1stcycle · 09/10/2022 07:16

@Decaffe sorry your third one didn’t make it! Everything crossed for your embaby on board. How have you been feeling in the TWW?

@Spin101 exciting for getting your meds ready! Good luck with starting your stims soon.

Silly last night my hubby wanted me to take another test because he just wanted to see the lines get darker, but I didn’t want to waste good tests so did a cheap one which had shown a faint line before. I had only held for 2 hours and I knew that would affect it, anyways came back negative. Although I was telling myself and him it’s a cheap one and it’s not FMU it’s probably diluted etc I was still worried all night and could hardly sleep, as I’m still spotting too.

So today is OTD! I went for a wee at 2am so wanted to try and wait till at least 7 am but 6am I couldn’t hold any longer so I did my tests. Clear blue normal and FRER both positive and darker positives! I then took a clear blue digital which was not pregnant on Friday and today was pregnant! I could not believe it literally cried when I saw it as I didn’t expect it as I’ve heard they are less sensitive and the one on Friday was negative. I got to call the clinic tomorrow to tell them and I’ll mention again the spotting, hopefully they will do a blood test even if I have to pay as it’s not included. I really hope it sticks! Xx

seekingbabyk · 09/10/2022 07:39

@1stcycle that's great news it sounds really promising! I'm sure they'll give you a blood test! Finally we might have a pregnancy on this thread!x

Imisscoffee2021 · 09/10/2022 07:43

@1stcycle huge congratulations!!!a digital is so not sensitive so to pick up is such a positive, so happy for you! 🥳🥳

1stcycle · 09/10/2022 08:09

@seekingbabyk @Imisscoffee2021 thanks so much. I really didn’t expect it and most of the time I’ve thought I was out. Still can’t settle completely as I know the chances, but at this moment in time we want to celebrate where we are now, as this is the furthest we have knowingly been!

Imisscoffee2021 · 09/10/2022 08:27

@1stcycle Absolutely enjoy this moment, and if it's getting darker thats such good news so HCG is rising! So exciting! Have a lovely Sunday, best news today :)

seekingbabyk · 09/10/2022 08:39

@1stcycle yes I second @Imisscoffee2021 - definitely enjoy the moment!x

MinBins · 09/10/2022 08:45

Hello! I started my first round today and have just taken my first dose of Meriofert.

Im feeling super nervous but also a little excited. Oh also I found out I'm on the antagonist protocol.

I self injected and had to totally hype myself up before the first needle - and was then overthinking whether there was anything left in it after I had done.

Eek hoping tomorrow will be easier - I'm hoping by the end of the week I'll be less clunky with the needle (gulp).

It's nice to hear the positive news below, congrats @1stcycle!

Tinkerbell098 · 09/10/2022 09:46

I’m away for a few days at the moment so just catching up. @1stcycle congratulations that’s amazing!! Yes definitely enjoy the moment X

Spin101 · 09/10/2022 13:40

@1stcycle thank you and that’s amazing news! 🥰

@MinBins well done for doing your own injections! I hope it gets better each day!

Decaffe · 09/10/2022 18:32

Just a quick one, were anyone’s progesterone levels checked on transfer day?

I’m just wondering because I have repeatedly flagged that I can spot for up to a week before AF (eg last cycle I spotted at 9dpo and then for five more days before AF arrived). I’m sure the nurse said that it would be checked along the way but I haven’t had a blood test since the morning of my trigger, so just wondering what’s normal? I will be the equivalent of 9dpo (6dp3dt) tomorrow so it’s on my mind.

@MinBins well done on doing your first injection! They definitely get easier😊

Hope you have had a lovely day enjoying the moment @1stcycle. I have been feeling absolutely fine the last few days. No twinges or cramps, nothing. Boobs a bit sensitive but less than they were. I am not really expecting much… I feel just the same as any other BFN TWW to be honest!

@Tinkerbell098 are you away on holiday? Hope you’re ok 😘

1stcycle · 09/10/2022 18:43

@Decaffe my progesterone hasn’t been checked. I am like you and can spot anywhere from a week before my period. what progesterone are you on?

My spotting has been a bit more today, a little bit on my underwear and more frequent, which all week it’s only been when I’ve wiped and on and off. It’s also gone more pinky red rather than pinky brown. I hope it’s not a CP.

I have read that the pessaries can irritate and cause bleeding so really hope it’s that.

Decaffe · 09/10/2022 19:18

Yes, indeed they can! I was on Utrogestan 3x200, the wax leaked and caused my vulva such irritation. Not just itchy but actually causing paper cut-like tears in the folds which bled red blood. I would wipe with a damp tissue and it would sting and hurt so much. So on Friday they switched me to Cyclogest 2x400 (different entrance!). My vulva is still very sore and I still have some blood. It has been a little better today, although now my er… other entrance has some of the same ‘cuts’ again with fresh blood. It’s annoying but doesn’t feel as bad as it was last week so I’m just going to have to live with it. I have sensitive skin and am allergic to a lot of things. To be honest in my rabbit hole days I do wonder if my fertility issues are related to some kind of immune response. I might ask about prednisolone on my next cycle.

Last night and today I noticed some brown tinged CM when wiping. I am not sure if it’s potentially spotting or if it’s that the Utrogestan irritated me inside and so it’s due to that.

I hope yours is due to the drugs! 🤞🏻
