Anyone out there currently going through IVF, start my stims in a couple of days. Had my down reg scan today and I have 4 follicles on my left and 5 on my right, wasn't sure if this was good or not, I've just turned 40 as this is my first cycle.

@Elle147 oh I'm exactly the same! I stupidly did a Clearblue digital today and got 2-3 weeks again. I don't know what I was thinking, I'm not even 5 weeks yet! Anyway, it still made me nervous which is ridiculous!
I don't have any symptoms other than cramping and needing to wee all the time. With my little one I didn't start getting morning sickness (no actual vomiting) until 5 weeks and 6 days so I know if I don't get sickness this time until later I will panic again 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Chippychippy yay well done! Just try and relax now. Easier said than done I know! But other than that drink lots and lots of water as that's really important for implantation. I also ate Brazil nuts daily but not sure if that's just a myth.
I'll keep everything crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Ita so exciting for everyone! I literally can't wait now! 10 days and I can take the tablets and start my journey.
What are everyone's thoughts on green tea? One google site says it helps and another says to avoid. Any advice? Xx

I’m in limbo now waiting on next lot of consents so we can start FET. But I just keep thinking, it seems no time since our planning consult in January and fast forward same time we’ll be at transfer!

@LT103 you're right, no time at all but still feels like forever!
I'm trying all I can to do everything possible to make it stick when we do this but I know my odds aren't great xx

I'm five weeks today and tested with another Clearblue digital and got 3+. I'm so pleased!

Still have pain from the collection...Has anyone else had this still one week on from collection?

@Chippychippy Hey! I (luckily) didn’t experience any pain from collection. I was dreading it too, I’ve had to IUI’s which left me in agony so I was expecting worse from EC!

What type of pain do you have?

I’m just trying to keep busy with work / house stuff as still got just under 3 weeks until my scan! My cramps have stopped now, just got very sore boobs and feel absolutely exhausted!

@Elle147 are you starting to believe you're pregnant yet?? 🥰🥰🥰

Bahhhh! I can't believe you have to wait so long for a scan, just a little bit of reassurance surely would be nice. I wonder if you could book a private scan 🤔 I guess it's the same as non ivf pregnancies?

When did you all do your first test? Did you wait for the full amount of time? They say I should test next Friday..... 😬 so tempting (but if course no chance of saying yes now!

My pains feeling a bit better today but I had a WHOOSH of crying this morning at a very normal text message so hoping a positive little sign. 🌞

@Chippychippy I’m trying to believe I am! It’s all very new to me so I’ve no idea how I should / shouldn’t feel at this stage! Trying not to overthink it all :)

I think I’m just going to wait it out until my scan with the clinic, until then I guess I’ll just assume everything it ticking along nicely!

I can’t remember exactly when I tested, but it was early even though I promised I wouldn’t! Was quite nice to see the lines progressing though. Did you have a trigger shot? I know that can stay in your system for some time but I think it varies for everyone!

Hi there, I have undergone a couple of rounds of IVF and was about to start another round, ordered meds, and have fallen pregnant with our rainbow baby. I have all the meds and I know that I can't sell them and tbh I want someone to use as it's such a waste - I am looking to give away. They have been sat in the fridge or cupboard (not all need to be kept refrigerated). I have Gonal-f 450units/0.75ml solution for injection 1 pre-filled pen x 1; Gonal-f 900units/1.5ml solution for injection 1 pre-filled pen x 2 (expires 06/22); Ovitrelle 250micrograms/0.5ml solution for injection 1 pre-filled pen (expires 11/22); Fyremadel 250micrograms. Any suggestions?

@Elle147 Do you have any major symptoms yet? I know I'll regret this but I kind of want morning sickness to kick in so I feel pregnant. My boobs are sore and I'm still crampy but other than that I feel great!

I've been stupidly testing every few days. I need to stop! But this morning I swear the line is ever so slightly lighter which is making me super paranoid 😬

@Emmyanddreams Hey! Other than sore boobs, nothing really. Even my cramps have eased. I do feel exhausted but I think that’s just because I’ve got a lot going on! I’m soo bloated though, had a meltdown yesterday because I look 5 months due to bloating and couldn’t find an outfit to wear haha - I’ll be fine when it’s actually due to a bump and people know!

Feeling a bit deflated to be honest because I’ll be 8 weeks when we have our first scan and it just feels like so long to wait when I see others going at 6/7 weeks. I’m due to go away next week for a few days (in the UK) and just feel like I won’t enjoy it.

Ahh it’s so hard not to test though isn’t it just to make sure!

@Elle147 I know what you mean, I'll be two days off 8 weeks when I have my scan. It's a really hard wait. I suppose one blessing is we won't have such a long wait between this scan and the 12 week scan xx

I am good thanks honey! I am 5dpt now so still I think a little early. I'm going to try SO HARD to wait until 9days. However...what a romantic setting it will be to do my preggo test: picture me in a camper van in the pouring rain with no toilet 😂 I'm literally going to have squat in a field for ny pregnancy test! 🙈😂 (can you tell I want as less pressure as possible)

However- yesterday had very sharp twinges! So praying that's a positive twinge.

@Elle147 so sorry you're feeling the anxiety! But you ARE pregnant and that's the best thing ever. The reason they are not scanning you yet is probably because they have no worries and know you're all good! 🙏🏽 I hope you can relax on holiday babe! That's why we are going away too! Just to "sunny" Cornwall!! Xxxx

6 days after transfer- would you go to an event? It's a work/industry party that is good for my work but my partner thinks I should be resting still.

Hmm @Chippychippy tough one! I think it really depends how you are feeling and how much your body can take? And if you are ok with catching Covid potentially (thinking worse case here!)

If it was me in that position and I could get away with it, I wouldn't attend. I'd play it extra safe and make sure to rest a lot, but I think follow your gut instinct! Sending best wishes! Xox

@Chippychippy oh that's a tough one. How full on will the party be? I had a couple of low key social events planned after my transfer but I ended up having to cancel because my little one got covid, and then I got it. Personally I probably wouldn't have gone to anything that was going to be quite tiring physically and mentally. But it's totally up to you and how well you feel ☺️

Also just wanted to say that since about 11am I have been feeling really nauseous!!

@Chippychippy I’d say yes! I carried on normal after my transfer, I was back at work an hour after it!

It might be something good to distract you for a couple of hours too :)
