So I thought I would start a new thread as we reached 1k comments so can't post!!! @chloedancer897 @Luna1108 sorry will try tag others !
anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

I just finished round 3 - day 32 now, but I am not going to test this time (I know it will be negative…). I will wait for next period and then start on my first round of gonadotropins - maybe I will have more luck with that… I am super disappointed because I was sure I ovulated on Clomid (plus had pregnancy on it before), but there you go…

@adarkhorse and @Shelleybe good luck I'll keep everything crossed.

I'm feeling so fed up today. Side effects have been awful. I'm sure we will have missed our window because of them. Add to that I'm not being monitored so who knows if the clomid is even working.

@seathistle - oh no! Don’t feel bad! My side effects on first round of Clomid were horrible, no monitoring and I still somehow got a baby out of it. No side effects this time, but also no success! If you have regular cycle and are ovulating on Clomid, you have a chance :)

@adarkhorse best of luck with new one. I haven’t heard of it. Sometimes switching to something else can be what you need. I’m on cycle 6 of clomid and wish I had asked this… I heard letrozole is good to try if Clomid isn’t working

@seathistle I understand what you feel like. It’s so frustrating and such hard thing to be going through. Emotionally physically… I am over the pregnancy announcements now and oh it happened by accident I actually feel more annoyed around people at the mo… be kind to yourself maybe treat yourself to a little pampering even if it’s buying yourself something nice for at home

@ItsAlice how ya getting on? Can I ask when did you take your Clomid morning or night and what days… I take at night and wondering maybe if should switch to morn..

How did you less bothered about the announcements etc?

We are struggling with male infertility too. I keep trying to find ways to fix things but obviously that's impossible. I keep thinking I just need to take one day at a time (cliche I know) but not doing particularly well at that

It would be helpful if the pandemic could do one as well!

@seathistle it’s so hard and I think the wait, the meds, side effects it’s all a real physical and mental thing. I also feel like my tummy is extra bloat constantly. I think best thing is be kind to yourself. I wish so much so bad it would happen. Mine is unexplained. I have had HSG I have done bloods and my DP has been checked but not figured out why… so I don’t know what to fix and 6th cycle of clomid. Im also 37 time is not on side. Give yourself some time. I found symptoms weren’t as bad as months went on if that helps any way but hopefully you will get that BFP soon x

Unexplained must be infuriating, too. Will you be going onto IVF after 6 cycles? That's what the plan is for us.

I've decided I'm not going to try this month and just let my body get used to the drugs. I've got so many questions about whether 6 months of this is really worth it for us etc, but our consultant is only in once a fortnight, and other than that we've got no one to ask.

It's really reassuring to hear it might not be so crap next month. Feeling a bit less pressure on myself by just ignoring it this month until I feel better hopefully next cycle.

Sorry been a bit quiet ladies. Got some blood tests done and the results are a mess. So I’m a mess too.

Hope everyone is doing ok. Just going to eat some rubbish food and curl up on my sofa.

@seathistle my gyno next step for me is laraposcopy then I guess start planning IVF… didn’t think I would have to… I guess I was hopeful it would be Clomid.. it’s awful pressure totally get that as I feel same as we all do. Just be kind to yourself

Anyone try preseed before… if have any tips or anything.. bought it on a whim and seeing it places and on cycle 6 try anything!

So can I have a vent…. Taking Clomid… it’s a lot feel bloated all time and went thru side effects previously. So meant to start having sex tomorrow and partner decided today going off with the boys… it’s like I have take all vitamins do all the tests and ya just went on stag with them can’t ya focus on our final round of clomid?! Am I being hormonal or what?

@Shelleybe I would be annoyed. You're taking a big mental and physical sacrifice, even if you were being "unreasonable" you're allowed to be IMO. I hope he does something for you to make up for it.

Thanks @seathistle I’m just kinda like what’s the point. I’m on cycle 6 last real try of this and the boys are priority… full day and night gone… it’s not like something just random we are trying for a baby. It’s so bloody selfish! Go have fun golf and rugby and pub!

I also have a question if anyone can help, When do you normally ovulate on clomid? I've been using the easy @ home strips from Amazon and haven't had a positive yet. I'm on CD17 (I forgot to test today but yesterday there was barely a whisker of a line) and took my last tablet on CD6? Does this mean I'm not ovulating?

@seathistle I think some people ovulate later with clomid… so just keep doing OPKs. Are ye still baby dancing anyway? I would keep doing both x

How’s everyone doing? Any updates with anyone? I’m just waiting on ovulation and doing opks… cycle 6 though. Trying preseed too for first time

@Shelleybe nothing from me. Just trying to keep distracted. On CD21, no idea if/when I ovulated.

I'm just waiting to test on Sunday that will be on the early detection one tho I'm not holding my breath tho! CD 19 today. I keep trying not to get my hopes up but it's impossible not to!

@Shelleybe I’m very up and down. Best friend’s due date is tomorrow so feel like that one is going to be tough.

The clomid has taken a toll on my this month, the ovulation pain was mental. Think I ovulated yesterday so waiting for my temps to confirm it over the next couple of days. Hope you’re doing ok after the weekend, any updates?

@seathistle do you track temps? That’s the only way I know for sure ovulation happened. Hope you’re doing ok.

@Luna1108 that must be so hard with your best friend. Just do as much as you feel comfortable. I'm sorry to hear you've been suffering with side effects too.

I've been a bit crap at tracking my temp this time, I found that they've been pretty elevated the whole cycle

@seathistle just keep DTD and maybe ya have already ovulated. Are you using opks? I find Clearblue ones digital good but I know on Clomid they say opks aren’t always accurate

What's everyone's thoughts on early detection tests? Are they reliable ?
