Did any of you ladies have a really sore lower abdomem after egg transfer. Im 7 days post transfer and now it is so uncomfortable. The clinic said not to worry.

I remember having cramps in the two week wait.
I was expecting all these different symptoms from a normal menstrual cycle, but it was all pretty much the same. Cramping, sore boobs etc.

I had my gender reveal party yesterday! And against all odds (I was super convinced I had a boy and most of my people too...)...
We are having a baby girl!! 🥰
I didn't have any preference but my husband is beyond happy as he did want a girl ❤️
And we are naming her Leia Ana 😍

@Sungirl11 yeyyy congratulations!! Cute baby girl. Lovely name. We have picked "Jackson" to be known as Jack but it might change when we meet him

Did anyone else have serious anxiety before they 7 week scan?

@PurpleUnicorn01 yes I think that’s pretty normal. After everything, you just imagine the worst. Every twinge and feeling is heightened.
And it didn’t get much better before the 12 week scan. And even now I worry if I’ve not felt a movement in a while!

@PurpleUnicorn01 I have never been a very anxious person but I do remember even after my beta being high at 12dpt I was still scared and yes, before going to our 7w scan, we were scared as the first trimester is critical for every pregnancy. But as Lou says, it continued after that! I have only completely relaxed after my 12w scan and knowing my girl is healthy, and have a home fetal doppler and listen the heart beat every week 🥰 (it might not be the best to have as they say that if you don't find it you can get worried etc. But we have never not found it since week 10 when we first listened to it after a lot of patience). X

My husband said to me after I had to go to hospital as I was bleeding at 17 weeks. You will worry for the rest of your life! How true is that!!!

Try not to stress too much though as it isn't good for you or baby xx

I was actually reading how low the risk of miscarriage is which made me feel better.

Got a consultation with the antenatal team this week because baby is IVF. Anyone else been booked in for this?

@Lou8319 not me.. i've just had all the normal low risk pregnancy routine.
Went for my 20w scan and from now on I just see my midwife. X

Weird, midwife said it was routine. No idea what they’re going to do! I’d understand if the bot since the ivf had been problematic but it seems all ok.

@Lou8319 I have. I've had meeting with the consultant. They just asked me questions and checked blood pressure this was at 12 weeks then I've got second with the same consultant at 30 weeks which is October
