@Lou8319 my boy isn't very active but he was on the scans the midwife was laughing because his hand kept covering his face and she couldn't check the lips haha.

@Sungirl11 it will fly by. Are you having an early scan to find out or waiting? We had an early scan but kept it to ourselves. Was so nice that just us two enjoy knowing for 3 weeks. I can see why now we've told everyone that people don't find out though. It's a strange feeling now everyone knows. Family members trying to suggest odd names lol.

@Bethpalmer20 so good to hear from you. How you getting on it the TWW? It's flying by. I'm full of cold today so feeling pretty low 😢

@6543336787gesgvjhg we know the gender from the Harmony test but we don't know. My sister in law knows and is throwing a gender reveal party on the 21st. So we will all know then haha and we already have the names picked for boy/girl and we will reveal when we know what baby is. No chance anyone is having a say... but no one around us would anyway haha my family have never given opinions or stuff like that about anyone else's decisions unless you ask for it. And my friend know how square I am with my life so accept everything haha
Up until now no one has said a word about everything we have chosen tbh, but as I say people around me know that I won't listen anyway hahah 🙈🙈

@6543336787gesgvjhg I'm currently only 3DP5DT and it's really feels like it's dragging already. I don't feel so confident this time after a bit of a traumatic embryo transfer that took 25 minutes of me being in pain because they couldn't get the catheter in 😢 trying to stay positive though! Hope you're feeling better soon ❤️

Lou8319 · 30/07/2021 15:53

@6543336787gesgvjhg we know gender but we’re not telling anyone else. The grandparents didn’t want to know, so we get the secret for another 4 months. As long as we don’t slip up!

Lou8319 · 30/07/2021 15:54

@Bethpalmer20 wishing you all the luck in the world

Bethpalmer20 · 30/07/2021 16:15

Thanks so much @lou8319 wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy ❤️

6543336787gesgvjhg · 30/07/2021 18:19

@Bethpalmer20 thank you. I've had to isolate pending covid results. Nightmare.

Don't try and look for "pregnancy" symptoms. I always thought: dark nipples, feeling sick etc. I've still not got dark nipples now. Boobs don't hurt either. Missed period was the first thing for me but with the drugs you don't really know when your period will be anyway! Best of luck. Try not to overthink it all. Positive vibes your way! Please try not to test too soon either, try and hold off xxx

@Lou8319 that's going to be hard but I love that! We knew for 3 weeks and that was hard enough but if people know your not telling them hopefully you won't need to speak about it too much to slip up! Xx

@Sungirl11 awww lovely! We were asked if we wanted it written down or not. Have you any thoughts what baby is?

Everyone was saying to me it's a boy as
I've not been sick and baby looks low but I don't get how that's a thing haha

OP posts:
Sungirl11 · 30/07/2021 18:32

@6543336787gesgvjhg I think it's a boy! Haha
Old tales is what you say... not being sick, baby not taking your beauty away, low/pointy tummy... boy haha
I have all those 🙈
But they are old tales, two strong ones that always made me believe it was a boy are a study where 72% of top quality embryos were boys, so fast growing ones are boys. And my mom said I would have a boy before she left, and I know she sent this baby ❤️
But maybe we have a little girl to honor her, no clue haha

6543336787gesgvjhg · 31/07/2021 19:02

@Sungirl11 awww lovely, it's so hard when people are guessing around you as well.

I've tested positive for Covid today. What a nightmare! Rang hospital and I'm just on there list and they will check in with me every couple of days. Not feeling too bad today though. Yesterday was worse

@6543336787gesgvjhg aw no!! Have you had you vaccines?
Hope you feel well and it goes by easily. X

6543336787gesgvjhg · 01/08/2021 07:45

@Sungirl11 yes had first vaccine in June. Second one is August. I felt worse Friday but just like a bad cold. As the days go on I'm feeling a lot better thank you. So hopefully on the mend.

Had whooping cough vaccine at 20 week scan for baby. Have you guys had it?

Lou8319 · 01/08/2021 22:35

Hope you feel better soon

In case anyone hasn’t done it yet, I picked up the first Bounty and Emma’s Diary packs from Boots today. Few good freebies. Mostly samples, but a whole pack of wet wipes! And the Bounty one had a really good booklet in it about everything you need to buy, reviews, explanations etc

Sungirl11 · 02/08/2021 17:16

@Lou8319 sorry! How do you print the voucher for the Emma's one? I can't seem to find it 🙈
X

Lou8319 · 02/08/2021 17:18

@Sungirl11 I had to get the app and it’s all on there. Doesn’t really tell you that on the website!

Sungirl11 · 02/08/2021 17:21

@Lou8319 just seen it there! Haha
I looked at it ages ago and couldn't find it so I gave up thinking it was a scam 🙈
Thank you! Will go and get them both 🔝🔝

Lou8319 · 02/08/2021 17:59

I found the Bounty one better, but any freebie is good!

6543336787gesgvjhg · 03/08/2021 07:40

@Lou8319 I've had a few of the bounty magazines and found them really good. I've seen the Emma one advertised on Facebook a lot. Thank you

Anyone recommend any books to read for new parents?

OP posts:
Lou8319 · 06/08/2021 21:28

I asked my midwife about any books to read and she didn’t have any to recommend.

PurpleUnicorn01 · 12/08/2021 18:44

Hi All, how are you all doing? Im currently in the 2ww currently 3dpt5dt. Going crackers already lol. I really hate this cyclogest.

6543336787gesgvjhg · 13/08/2021 08:54

@PurpleUnicorn01 glad to hear you've had your transfer. I was on that pill thing for another 60 days once the pregnancy is confirmed it's a success.

I still have nightmares now that I've forgotten to take my tablets/pills/injections. Anyone else get this?

I got three books and highly recommend them. "Your baby week by week" "the book you wish your parents had read" and "first time parent"

OP posts:
Lou8319 · 16/08/2021 08:37

@PurpleUnicorn01 yes cyclogest is not pleasant! Think I’d have rather had another injection.

Fingers crossed for you. Take it easy.
