@Itstime1 i'm so so sorry i send a huge hug for you and hope you are ok.

I had my scan today
I only have 7 good follicles and my Dr has only given me one more day for stims. He wants to do EC on Tuesday.
I'm happy for this (he said.. "it's not about quantity but about quality") but i'm scared I wont get any good embryos 🙈🙈🙈 (mixed feelings).
He is happy for a Fresh transfer if I feel ok. So heyho, i'll trust him as he is the expert.

@Sungirl11 on my last EC they collected 8, 5 fertilised and made it to blastocyst. Your DR is right, its not about quantity but quality. Remember it only takes 1 embryo to make a baby!

@6543336787gesgvjhg yes! Trigger tonight at 9:30, 2 injections of Ovitrelle. And tomorrow my tumtums can relax for a day haha

I'm still feeling really well, I can feel my ovaries a bit like if I was about to have my period. But no pain or bloated or anything else. Which is good as I don't want to feel horrible haha

Very excited for Tuesday, even though i'm not looking forward to the anaesthesia and the pain afterwards 🙈🙈

@Sungirl11 you will be fine. Have you ever had a HSG? I'd say that was more painful and the nurse said to me a lot of people said the same. Just make sure you relax afterwards and the day after if you can. The nurse said to me, food, pills and sleep and repeat every 4 hours! You will be fine I promise xx

@6543336787gesgvjhg yes I have had a HSG but it was ok to me. Just a few seconds of mild pain and that was it. I wouldn't of thought it was the same as EC you are fully sedated and for the HSG I wasn't at all.
It's ok for the relaxing after, nothing to do apart from feeding my two monsters (dogs) but I can lay in bed all day if needed. Haha

@Sungirl11 yes I know you're not for the HSG but the pain after for me for a few days was really bad I struggled to walk. Didn't get any of that after EC but I suppose we all are effected differently!

@6543336787gesgvjhg Aw no!! I didn't get anything.. tbf I went on a weekend hen party the next day hahahah I might be panicking for nothing! I am quite tolerant to pain... but i hear so many horror stories that I just worry myself (silly billy me)

@Itstime1 im sorry to hear that the bleeding has increased and possibilitiy of being a CP. Its great you got a frostie which makes it a lot easier, in my both rounds i had only 1 embryo which was stressful.

@H1991M i think it depends on your circumstances, if you are in a hurry and dont mind spending, i would go with private, their medication is more tailored i feel, and take care of you better. My hospital in the first round was terrible, i could never get hold of anyone over the phone and they never explained things properly to me.

@Orsh how exciting to see lots of follicles, fingers crossed the rest grow well, and good luck for EC on Wednesday

i know the feeling, same here, mine is booked for 11th.

Hello, hope you don't mind me joining late. I had a failed round of ICSI (MFI) last Nov, made it to 5dt but none to freeze. Devastating. Cost us 9k as waiting lists so long here in N.I and only recently changed from one NHS cycle to 2. Paid 10.5k for 3 cycles through Access fertility. 2nd cycle in March, EC April 1st (only 5 eggs despite 15 good follicles, body decided to release a day early, how agonising!) Only 1 embryo made it to D5, a grade B/C. None to freeze again. FET 6th April . . . BFP day 9, confirmed day 10 with official tests. Still in shock! 😊 Sending everyone big hugs and hope for a BFP. All you need is one 🙏 my best advice for the tww is not to test early (I waited until the evening of day 9) x

My EC just got confirmed for Wednesday. I will trigger tonight with Suprecur (Buserelin) to prevent OHSS. It will be a freeze all.
I have 11 follicles with good size, and many which are too small. But 11 us a good number. Let's hope they contain lots of good eggs.
Unfortunately my partner is not allowed to be in the prep/recovery room with me, due to covid.
I had a covid and blood test today and need to have another blood test tomorrow.
I am very excited and super nervous of course.

@Crazydoglady123 any good news on your scan? The over mature eggs meant that some of my follicles kept on growing after ovulation/IUI causing really bad cramps and lower abs pain until they cleared with the next 2 periods.

@6543336787gesgvjhg HSG was unbearable for me. I thought I deal well with pain, definitely not with that one. I was in pain for weeks after. The moment of injection was a hell of pain. I really was not lucky with that.

@Orsh that's like what the Clomid did. I had 7 follicles between 25mm and 50mm each

Had my scan and my linings thin so get to start stims tomorrow 🙌 Still have a cyst though so have to see what happens as may grow when I start stims.

Just thought I'd share my symptoms, although I know this is different for everyone and depends on different med protocols as well. I was definitely going to the toilet a lot more, couldn't make it past 3am without getting up to pee! Didn't have cramps as such but definitely felt very bloated almost as if my period was on the way (thank goodness it wasnt) I had no spotting at all this cycle, but I also didn't my first cycle which was BFN. I'm definitely really hungry now & still needing the loo alot. But no morning sickness yet, I read 6 wks on is most typical & I'm 4.5 atm. I never had any dizziness. I've been working the whole way through both cycles, I'm am NHS physio so being in PPE is really not fun, never mind the covid risk! I'm waiting to hear back from the clinic to see if they will write me a letter to shield for the 1st trimester given the nature of my work 🤞 having no tests in the house is the best advice ever! I waited until day 9 after 5dt both cycles and then did the official test on day 10 (OTD at my clinic) stay strong ladies x

@Crazydoglady123 my other half did ours on his 40th lol!! But tbh we had a fab day as he had guests all day in the garden and my mum came to look after me so he had a special day still and one he will never forget!!

welcome @Nik85 how's your tww going?

So we ended up with 18 in the freezer in the end, and have started with only 8 being tested at the lab and we have another week before we get those results, then we have the 2 cycle countdown before we begin PIO and transfer prep, I won't lie I am nervous about the results but today something inside me is just so excited to get to the next stage, but I also am aware all 18 could be abnormal and they won't transfer them.

@Lclarke111i don't really have any tips, I've just gone about things like I normally would. One thing I would say though is dont test early! I did in pervious rounds and was always a negative, and then the rest of the TWW was awful knowing it wouldn't change. Wait until OTD and then either way you know you've done your best xx

@Bella1984 congratulations on your BFP! I'm 6 weeks on Thursday and don't have any symptoms at all it's strange isn't it. Boobs hurt that's it but put that down to the pessaries.

Whenever I've been like a day late before I'm checking for dark nipples, sickness etc but all of this doesn't come for such a while I didn't realise. I'm hoping morning sickness isn't too bad when it does arrive 😫😫
