Is anyone else on here having treatment with CRGW in South Wales? Just wondering what other people's experiences with them have been.

We have been rearranging our wedding again! It's soooo stressful!

@Cat028 I'm so glad the consultation went well. Hopefully you won't have to wait long for your appointment now. It's all very exciting... and nerve racking!! Are work ok with you taking the time you need to isolate before ect? Is it the 10 days you have to do it for?

Ours is on the 27th. I have my scan next Monday... my period is late though (I can feel it about to start it's just not playing) which means I might be on for my scan if it doesn't hurry up and come and I don't really fancy that at all!! But fingers crossed it'll start soon. Im only taking folic acid at the moment so you and @Blueron123 have helped with the vitamin advice. I'll have to go back down the chat and write them all down.

It's mad that we are all doing it this month and your right it is nice to have each other to talk to.

My hospital appointment went fine... they took my temperature before I went in though which they said was high 😳 and asked if I had any Covid symptoms so I said no, as I didn't and they let me in as I was only 37.4. I was proper flustered though! I'm not a fan of hospitals. I had a telling off for not taking my meds and they gave me a leaflet on pregnancy and the meds I'm on.

@Becbelly aw no!! Hope you are managing to sort everything okay. Have all your vendors been available on your new date?

Thank you! I'm still waiting to hear so I think I will ring tomorrow as I haven't heard anything since we sent the consent forms back last week.
Work have been amazing! I got upset about it all again as I was worrying about time off work to isolate but they have said I am fine to work from home. It'll be from the start of stimulation drugs until egg transfer so I think it might work out between 2 and 3 weeks.

Aw that's a pain! Hopefully your period shows up soon!! What meds are you on? (Please don't feel the need to answer if you prefer not to :)) Will they have to change your dose when you are pregnant?

@Cat028 I am on hydroxychloroquine, don't ask me to say it haha. No think I'll stay on the same does but if we get pregnant I think I'll be on clexane as well. I've never had blood clots but my man has and the condition we have makes the risk of miscarriages more high so the meds are to help with that.

Aww I'm so glad your work as so amazing. I don't know if mine would be that supportive. Especially for that length of time. I hope they have news tomorrow for you!! Yeah it can Sunday so all good... thank goodness so I'd be changing Monday's appointment.

We have a date for later this year or April next year and have to pick which one we want. A few suppliers can't do this year, but they all can next year. But with all the fertility stuff I'm really not sure what to do.
I'm really stressed out at the moment. I'd rather just do this year but can't move it all again after this... it's so hard!!

@Becbelly wow!! That is a mouthful!! I'm glad they are able to keep you on it! Hopefully it will help to prevent miscarriage. 🤞🏻

You can only ask. That's why I was so worried tbh I didn't they they would be willing or I would have to take it unpaid.

If you moved the wedding to the date later this year and covid forced you to cancel. Would you be able to move it then?

@Cat028 yes we would but I just told my mam that whatever the next dates is we are just going to have to do it. See what he says on Friday I guess. I'm tempted to just do this year.

Yes I think I'd probably have to go unpaid. Does your DH have to isolate as well for the period? I'm wondering if i will if DP has the retrieval.

@Becbelly I totally understand you wanting to go ahead with it. Hopefully later on in the year things might have changed.

The recommend that both of us isolates for the same period. I was again worried his work would say no but they have got things in place ready for him to work from home. Not problem for them either. It's a massive weight off our shoulders!

@Becbelly hopefully they are. I hope all workplaces would be understanding especially at the moment with covid.

No news at the moment. We have submitted all out consent forms. I rang on Wednesday to see where we were and she said they they have a lot of consent forms to go through and check so this can take 2 weeks so to ring again if I haven't heard by Weds.

I'm just glad it's the weekend after a busy week! I love a rugby weekend too! Have you been busy with wedding things?

It's been a long week in work and very busy today! Glad the weekend is here to. And then Monday I have my scan eeekk!

We have decided to go for September this year for our wedding. I just hope we don't need to move it all again!! I honestly can't cope with it all. My anxiety has been quite bad... especially today! Nice to finally shut my brain off.

And the hairdressers can finally open to yay 😂

@Becbelly I hope not! 🤞🏻I am itching to get started or at least know the dates we can start. I can begin planning for things then.

That's exciting! Something nice to start the week off. Get the ball rolling.

Hopefully September you'll have restrictions lifted a bit more for it too. There is so much going on with everything at the moment in not surprised your anxious. I have been feeling okay this week but I was like that last week.

Yeah it's an anxious time for a lot of reason at the moment. I had a dream last night that everyone in work was pregnant but me... I think it's because my scan is coming up so thinking about it a lot... and the night before I dreamt about my wedding and that was awful to.... because of DP. I woke up and told him straight away he ruined out wedding day 😂😂

@Becbelly I emailed mine, I sent them to the admin email.

@Becbelly Morning!! I scanned the forms as they have to be submitted at least 48 hours before the scan.
Also, do complete the initial covid questionnaire beforehand. I'd forgotten, however they allowed me to complete them when I arrived. The questionnaire is on their website.

Ladies, Im having a HSG this week. I think a few of your have had this done as I remember reading the posts.
Any tips other than taking painkillers and ABiotics?

I sent my forms last night but had issues with one of them so had to re-send this morning. I hope it doesn't effect my appointment tomorrow. My laptop is so old it wouldn't download the form and I can't go to my mums at the moment to use hers so I just had to keep trying! Been so stressed trying to sort it out.

@Blueron123 my appointment is tomorrow morning first thing. Dropping sample off and then have my scan straight after. Hope it's not a long list for sperm retrieval!

@JemInher40s I just did my covid questionnaire as well. Hope it's all ok!
Hope your appointment goes ok. I remember being really nervous before hand but they were all lovely and a nurse case in just to hold my hand as well. Be another test ticked off the list for you soon! Hope it all goes well!

That sounds awful! Haha!! It feels so real doesn't it. Was your DP confused? You sound like me! I have been having really vivid dreams too. I hit my DP over the head with a pillow the other night. I don't even know what that dream was about!

@JemInher40s I took paracetamol 30 minutes before my appointment. Try your best to relax - easier said than done! But they found it tricky to insert my catheter initially because I was tense! It'll be over before you know it! I would take a pad with you as well - the one they gave me was huge and uncomfortable on the way home.

@Cat028 yes good sound on the pad! I had a giant one to. Yeah I was tense to! I hate stuff going on 'down there' but best get use to it!

Yes I am excited. As long as they don't rearrange with my form going in today. I had to send everything in three separate emails. Was a nightmare.

Good luck for your appointment to, when is it?

I have to call our GP now for OH to go and have further bloods with them before our consultation, to check FSH, LH, prolactin and testosterone. He has had these done on the NHS before but they want them done again.

I feel so much better now it's done! Bloods hurt though... I'm so tense having them done as I hate needles!

@Becbelly I'm glad it went well.
When your husband has his testosterone blood test, from what I can remember, I think it's best to have it first thing in the morning and he's not to eat anything. I'm sure that's right but check just in case.

I had my consultation this afternoon. I've just received the text with the info to access all the consent forms. It's like you're signing your life away!
The consultant was so lovely and positive. She said she's going to write to my doctor to ask if he can prescribe Metformin rather than me having to pay for them. Still hoping for egg collection in June 🤞🏼

@Becbelly definitely got to get used to it. Wanda is going to be all our BFF! 😂

@Blueron123 that's great that your consultation went well and that they are asking your GP for the meds. Fingers crossed it'll all start moving now. We are still waiting for our planning meeting atm. Going to ring on Weds if we still haven't heard.

They could have made us pay for bloods but she wrote it all down and said to contact GP. He is booked for Wednesday afternoon. Thanks for the advice... I may ring WFI just to check if no food is best.... he'll hate that 😂 he had most of these done before about three times... but it was a while ago and with NHS so they want them repeated. They said they do the sperm retrieval every Thursday. Did you say your husband had it done in GRGW but with Gareth Brown?

Sorry @Cat028 I just have posted the same time as you. Our consultation is on the 27th. Do you go in for your planning meeting or is it on Microsoft teams again?

@Becbelly ah not long to wait! That's quick you have managed to get your DP an appointment!

I'm not sure how they will do it to be honest. Hopefully we will find out more once they give us a date. Xx

@Blueron123 they called with OH results and again... nothing in his sample... not even one. I'm nervous what his bloods are going to come back with and if they will advise donor sperm. But hopefully there will be a chance and we can do the retrieval.
