@BambiOnIce80 thanks for reassuring me, I am sure you meant 28.01.2020 and not 28.02.2020.
Its nice having someone/people to share ones experience in ivf. I am grateful to everyone on here.
Baby dust to everyone 👶 🍼.

I am 6dp5dt OTD is 30th, might check early who knows 😁.

You're right @Rovera12! I'm patient, but I'm not that patient! 😂

I am 3dp5dt first FET. Test date 3rd Feb.

Think I'm going to test on 2nd as is a Sunday, rather than before heading off to work.
So glad I took today off, feeling calmer already.
Looks like a few testing next week around 28th. Anyone tested/testing early?
I've not bought any tests so can't be tempted.

I am 4dp5dt with a early blast and morula. Although 🤞 they have progressed in the last 4 days!

@MissHoney85 it is such a lovely clinic and all of the staff seem to be really nice. Has the itching passed? I dont seem to feel anything today.

Sarab2020 · 24/01/2020 12:50

@Bestofyou1982 I’m tempted to do a test on the 2nd too, our test date is the 4th. Fingers crossed for you

Hi all, do you mind if I join? Had FET on 17th and the test day is on the 31st.. a long wait! I will be testing on Wednesday before my session with the councilor, I’m sure by then the result will be accurate, especially as I had a 6 day old embie. It’s my 4th attempt, never seen bfp. This time around I had cramping since day 1 of the transfer, I hope this means implantation. I’m optimistic but at the same time it’s hard to believe it will work this time as it failed so many times before...

@Sarab2020 looks like we may be testing buddies. Let's hope the days pass quickly!

Hi, @Viletta. Stay positive it only takes one. It's a numbers game for sure and so in some ways you're way ahead of all of us newbies. This is the first time for this embryo too, this could be the one you've be waiting for.

I've had cramping too, low down on right hand side mainly, since transfer. Did you have cramping or side effects in previous attempts?

Hi all! I recognise a fair few names from another thread.

I'm joining the TWW gang after my FET today. I was supposed to have two transferred today, but one stopped growing after the thaw, so I'm praying my 4CC blasto makes it.

I'm off work today, and my only plans for the weekend are resting and relaxing. Wishing you all good luck and plenty of pleasant distractions through this TWW period. My OTD is 3/2

@Bestofyou1982 hi there, you are right it only takes one. I had all sorts of symptoms on my first two cycles, none what so ever with my first FET. This time the only difference is that cramping started fairly early, the day after ET. It gets a bit worse now when I approach the time af would have normally start. I get sort of burning hot sensations (not like urinal infection but like my lower tummy gets hot) and lower back aches. How are you doing?

HJF84 · 24/01/2020 16:07

@Bestofyou1982 We're testing buddies. My OTD is 3rd feb - although today was transfer day for me. I haven't decided if I'll test before hand. I'll see how I feel.

Good idea about the recap.
I am 2dp5dt (I actually can't believe it has only been 2 days! It feels like a week 🙈)
OTD is 31/01 which will be 9dp (which seems quite early compared to some of you? 🤷‍♀️)

Read a list of side effects of estrogen that I am taking 2mg 3 times a day, quite high dose.. cramping, headache, nausea, breast tenderness, etc.. so I guess indeed no way to know which one it is

Report
Bestofyou1982 · 24/01/2020 17:40

@HJF84, @FlapJackered @Viletta my test date seems longer after transfer. Maybe I will test early. Haha! Had my FET on Tuesday 21st and it was a 5 day blastocyst. Wonder why such a difference in days after for testing?
Any ideas?

@BambiOnIce80 I went back to work today, although I work from home so it is not too stressful which is good! The distraction is actually quite helpful!!
How about you? Have you taken any time off?
I am on some immune suppressants which are destroying my sleep so I am sure that has something to do with the tiredness 😩💤

Report
FlapJackered · 24/01/2020 17:45

@Bestofyou1982 the clinic did say to me not to test at home as it may not show on a hpt on 31st (9dp5dt) but the blood test would. My DH is going away that day with work though, so I think I will test in the morning and take my chances that it might not be accurate. 😬

Report
Viletta · 24/01/2020 17:49

I think it depends on the individual protocol for the clinic. I guess their reasoning it’s best to have an accurate result in case late implantation. They don’t want someone to test early and stop taking meds

Report
HJF84 · 24/01/2020 18:25

@flapjackered I'm on immune suppressants too - prednisone. I am supposed to take one in the AM and one in the PM, so I take the PM one around 5pm as any later affects my sleep. You could try that? Since I made the switch, I've slept much better

Report
Bestofyou1982 · 24/01/2020 19:53

@FlapJackered that's quite different to mine as I'm only testing at home. Then two weeks of higher dose drugs then blood tests and viability scan week6.
If yours is a blood test makes sense it's earlier. Wish I had blood test rather than home kit.

Hi everyone! So many of us waiting - I’m so grateful for this group, makes me feel more normal to know other people are feeling similar.

I managed to resist testing today so tomorrow morn it is! I managed to convince myself yesterday that I was coming on - to the point where I started feeling tearful - but no AF as yet. Unfortunately that means I’m now getting my hopes up and really don’t want it to be dashed tomorrow. It’s our last attempt so if it doesn’t work that’s the end.

Good luck to everyone and to those who have just joined - the days will pass! 🤞

Good luck@Littleot for tomorrow, I'll bet you will be up of the crack of dawn.
I have no idea when AF should be as long protocol messed up AF dates. When I've had EC before twice with no eggs to transfer on short protocol AF arrive 2 weeks on the dot. So not sure if will happen the same if I dont get a BFP. This is my last time too, after one abandoned cycle and 2 EC with no transfer 20k down, I cant go through it all again

I'm testing tomorrow. 9dp5dt of 2 x FET. It's our 5th transfer (never had a BFP) and our last. I'm certain it hasn't worked.

Good luck! @jemimafuddleduck and @Littlelot 🤞

@HJF84 yes it's prednisolone, I took it a bit earlier last night and I think you're right it has helped. Do you take them with food? They didn't give me much instruction at the clinic.

Report
HJF84 · 24/01/2020 22:45

@FlapJackered Yes I make sure I have something small before I take it, with a gulp of water. I didn't get much advice from my clinic either, but that's what I read online. I am a member of an eczema group on FB, and people talk about taking it with a meal etc
