@Lily999 That's so sweet of him! Lucky you! My husband gave me a bar of chocolate to try and cheer me up, it worked until I ate half of it and felt guilty!

For anyone else like me feeling miserable and un-pregnant I just read this blog and I really enjoyed it:

www.thepreggerskitchen.com/blog-1/2018/4/15/the-two-week-wait-and-test-day-the-preggers-kitchen-ivf-series

She didn't feel anything or have any spotting and got a BFP, I like a positive story!

Good luck @notReginaPhalange let us know how you get on!

Stace999 · 13/02/2020 10:27

@Lily999 I obviously don't want to give you false hope this process is hard enough but when I had a BFP I felt nothing, nada.. Was so convinced it hadn't worked I didn't take progesterone the eve before otd and planned a big night out. I had increasing HCG and several positive tests, during that time I still felt nothing. I miscarried at just before 6 weeks but I don't think that was an indicator of my symptoms as it was obviously developing in the early stage. I've also had a round where I was convinced it had worked, cramps, felt sick and tired etc more so than before and increasing before otd yep you guessed it.. Negative. It is impossible to tell until that POAS this is my 6ty TWW and every one has been different so I've now got quite good at not symptom spotting.
Your DH sounds like a darling. Mine doesn't want me to test sat because it means he won't be able to go to football!

Minster2012 · 13/02/2020 10:38

That’s so sweet @Lily999 love a story like that!!

Fingers crossed @notReginaPhalange 🤞🏻🤞🏻

notReginaPhalange · 13/02/2020 14:48

It's the worst day of the whole IVF cycle. This waiting is killing me. Now I've got spotting. Is it even spotting or just my period starting? What the hell is spotting anyway? What colour is spotting? How much is spotting?

notReginaPhalange · 13/02/2020 14:52

I wish we both have taken a day off. And I still have an important call in 2 hours... why the hell did I schedule it on the test day? I thought it would help me to get distracted. But in reality, I'm going to f*ck it up because my head is anywhere but at work.

A lesson for the future, always always always to take a day off for the OTD

Lily999 · 13/02/2020 15:13

Hi @notreginaphalange I think I can't see one of your messages as it was removed?

rainbow178 · 13/02/2020 15:40

@Lily999 that is so nice of your husband!! How sweet!!

My test day is now less than 24 hours away!!!! Got parents evening to get through now which should stop me fretting.

How is everyone coping? I am just having period type cramps and pains but no spotting so totally don't know what to expect in the morning!

Lily999 · 13/02/2020 15:59

Hiya, yes, he was sweet, didn't know he can make a 3course dinner to be honest so he might just find himself in serious trouble pretending to be useless when it comes to proper cooking haha! He has always been excellent with breakfasts (I am no morning person), but I was truly impressed yesterday to see he pulled this off by himself. Also cleaned up the kitchen that was the point I asked if he is cheating on me or something :D He said he can see how difficult this whole process is on me and wanted to cheer me up a bit a he can't really do much more. The dessert had 10 written on it.

@rainbow178 I can't believe we are finally here and tomorrow is test day.... must admit I am chickening out as I am too afraid to leave the PUPO stage.
I don't have cramps, but today did have a few shooting pains that I am not sure what to make out of. Obviously my brain went straight to ECTOPIC! So even if it's a BFP I will be expected to freak out haha.

Minster2012 · 13/02/2020 16:27

@notReginaPhalange must be tough I couldn’t get a call on a work day but are you working from home? Any news? 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@rainbow178 & @lily999 not long now, you too @Stace999 could you do it tomorrow then? Surely if BFP he could go? 🤞🏻🤞🏻

rainbow178 · 13/02/2020 18:12

I am on a 12 hour countdown!!!! Getting bloody nervous now!!!

I meant to say before as well @Lily999 what a nice thing you said about your hubby being your family- that is exactly how we feel too- this awful tough fertility journey totally has totally made us stronger and we are a family of 2 who doesn't need anyone else (unless a little embryo fancies sticking around!) . I will remind myself of this tomorrow if it's bad news

duckling3 · 13/02/2020 18:59

It's so close for some of you now.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for lots of good news tomorrow.

Does anyone know, with all the progesterone pessaries, does the progesterone build up in the body over the tww, so symptoms get more over the weeks or does it build up quick and then stay steady at a steady level?

Viletta · 13/02/2020 19:26

@duckling3 I think it should stay at a certain level.

Minster2012 · 13/02/2020 19:38

@duckling3 I also agree with @Viletta I think it should stay constant I think that’s the aim

Stace999 · 13/02/2020 20:09

@Minster2012 my otd is Sunday and I'm a bit reluctant to test too early plus I have to work tomorrow so would rather live in (non!) blissful ignorance for now! He doesn't mind really plus the weather supposed to be awful again at the weekend so doubt football will be on anyway.
How are you feeling? And you @Lily999 not long for you now. Can't believe we are so close to the end!

notReginaPhalange · 13/02/2020 20:47

BFN. I thought I would be cool with it as I was preparing myself for it but I'm scraping myself off the floor...
Good luck to all of you who are still in the game. Fingers crossed for you!!

P.S. Any chance it can still be positive after the OTD? Even spotting stopped. OH insists to do pessaries until tomorrow...

Stace999 · 13/02/2020 21:06

@notReginaPhalange I am so sorry, it doesnt matter how prepared we think we are it's still horrible to see or hear that news. Be kind to yourself. I am not sure about a positive after OTD but I do know progesterone stops or limits bleeding in a lot of cases, I had a miscarriage and less bleeding than a period because I was still on progesterone. So sorry if that's not what you want to hear. My sister didn't get a positive pregnancy test until her period was 2 weeks late so I guess there's a chance. I hope you are OK just take a day at a time xx

Minster2012 · 13/02/2020 21:47

@notReginaPhalange that’s shit so sorry we would/will all be the same, there is no way to prepare for the bad news really, I would say ask your clinic about the question

@rainbow178 & @Lily999 so close massive good luck 🍀🍀

Viletta · 13/02/2020 22:45

@LouisaPipSqueak how are you doing? Have you tested again?

Lily999 · 14/02/2020 05:55

Lily999 · 14/02/2020 06:53

Thank you @DobbieFreeElf, @lls1990 and @minster2012! Woke up at 5 and did the test, but I couldn't look at it so DH did and told me: well, you're pregnant! :)
We're so happy, but not announcing it until the first scan.
@rainbow178 keeping my fingers crossed for you!!!

duckling3 · 14/02/2020 06:54

Congratulations @lilly999.

Are you normally up that early was it just because this is test day?
