Thanks ladies, the clinic has called we have another 6 Frosties so can have another go when AF arrives if we want. Just going to see how we feel after today.

Fingers crossed for you @twinkleyes35 🤞🏻

Viletta · 04/02/2020 11:54

@Sarab2020 sorry about your bfn, was it a fresh cycle? Glad to hear you've got 6 frosties! That's a lot and hopefully would last you long enough to get siblings :)

Stace999 · 04/02/2020 12:10

Just had the call to say none of the other embryos we had developed any further. Its expected but makes me feel even less optimistic about the 2 transferred.
We had 9 eggs 7 fertilise 7 made it to day 3 with some a bit slow but then just these 2 very slow ones day 5. Not sure if this is normal but guess as we are using a donor I expected a better quality embryo. Wondering if there's a quality issue with me.
Massive good luck @Twinkleyes35 and to anyone else testing today/tomorrow xx

Viletta · 04/02/2020 13:33

@Stace999 they have better chance developing in your womb.. hopefully it'll work for you this time. If not there are definitely things you can do to improve egg quality. We had an Skype consultation with fertility nutritionist Mel Brown for DH sperm quality and with all supplements and nutrition suggestion it made a huge difference. But this is plan b, plan a is that all is going to work out this time!

Chooklass · 04/02/2020 13:58

Ha! Just got a call from clinic saying an NHS funded IVF cycle had become available in June if we wanted it! (We self funded this round as funded waiting list is so long). Talk about crazy timing?! I said I'd let her know tomorrow 😂. Good to have a back-up plan in place 👍

twinkleyes35 · 04/02/2020 14:00

Hi guys just got a call from Clinic and it's a BFP ☺️☺️can't stop smiling and thank you al for your wishes 🙏🏻.

One level up and lot to go through first scan in first week of March . Think won't sink in till I see the scan but feeling blessed 🤞🙏🏻

@BambiOnIce80 can you plz add me to the graduate group can't find the link x

Good to al testing tomrow x 🤞

Chooklass · 04/02/2020 14:12

Ah @twinkleyes35 - awesome news!! Congratulations! 🥳xx

MrsLouB · 04/02/2020 14:22

@twinkleyes35 amazing news congratulations !

Lily999 · 04/02/2020 14:40

wow massive congrats @twinkleyes35 I must admit I had a very good feeling about you as you had one embryo but it was very strong and I somewhat have a lot of faith in the smaller numbers please odn't ask me why. This was the main reason I opted for the short protocol over the long one as I had this feeling even if I get 20eggs at the end we wouldn't get more than 2-3max, but those little ones will be kick ass embryos! ;)
All the best for you and hope to see you on the other thread when "our time comes" :)

Viletta · 04/02/2020 15:03

@twinkleyes35 congratulations!!! Amazing news!!

@Chooklass what a great timing! I hope this reduced your stress levels, it's great to have plan b all sorted! But we hope you won't need it!

BambiOnIce80 · 04/02/2020 15:44

Woohoo @twinkleyes35! 🎉🥳🎉🥳 I was saying earlier that I was optimistic for some BFP's this week! 😍 I've tagged you in the graduates thread 😘

Oooh, that's interesting @Chooklass! They told us that we'd lose our NHS funded if we self-funded, so I'd keep schtum if I was you and snap their hand off! 🤐 Not that you're going to need it, of course 😉 🤞🍀🤞🍀

Lily999 · 04/02/2020 16:07

@Chooklass we were told the same as @Bambionice80 that if we opt for self funding we will "most likely" miss out on the NHS cycles so it was a strong arguement for us. So that's definitely great news! Of course you won't need it. I wonder what happens to your frostie if you go for NHS? Assume they will keep it for you in case you ever need it (as NHS don't fund fresh rounds for siblings).

Can't wait for the morning to find out your news! Feels like once you jump over to the graduate thread I am constantly just chasing you guys haha!

Chooklass · 04/02/2020 16:07

@BambiOnIce80 - our consultant told us we could do both when we were initially referred!! We got put on both waiting lists at same time so seems legit! 🤷‍♀️😂

Chooklass · 04/02/2020 16:11

(Though we were very surprised to hear that!)

MrsLouB · 04/02/2020 16:55

hey all can i ask if any of you have had really bad AF type pains, ive has them since Saturday but they kinda feel different more sore,. But today kinda hurts (all up in side feeling) really sore and like my period is going start any minute.

I wouldn't mind but the pessaries are going via the back as not to cause any problems this side lol

Chooklass · 04/02/2020 17:02

I've had cramps throughout the TWW @MrsLouB , definitely worse the last two days.

Pinkstars2501 · 04/02/2020 17:15

I had cramps the first couple days after transfer. I was quite hopeful and thinking maybe the embryo was burrowing in snuggly. Today though I'm getting the kind I normally get a day or two before AF (I have Endo and my pains generally start around the ribs), so I'm thinking it won't be good news. My official test day is Friday but I'm doing it Thursday. Part of me thinks I won't need to though...

twinkleyes35 · 04/02/2020 17:23

Thank you so much guys it was lovely to be here with you all x it will be great to continue this journey with some of you on the graduate thread. ( good luck to those who had to go through this one more time) 🤞.

Good luck @Chooklass for your OTD tomorrow x☺️x and everyone who is yet to test x 🤞

MrsLouB · 04/02/2020 17:28

fingers crossed for tomorrow @Chooklass

i am hoping it is good news x

twinkleyes35 · 04/02/2020 17:44

Just thought to let you know my symptoms in TWW -sore boobs ( sensitive nips towards end of of TWW) , mild cramps / twinges in lower abdomen on and off , emotional outburst and mood swings a lot 😭. Tiredness and exhausted 😩

Tbh it didn't feel like any other month of AF just that the symptoms started lil bit early x

Hope this helps to anyone who is symptoms spotting x ☺️

QuantumGirl · 04/02/2020 18:41

Sorry to hear about your BFN @Sarab2020. Good to know you have Frosties ❄️

@LouisaPipSqueak welcome 👋

@twinkleyes35 congratulations on your news 🥰 and thank you for posting your symptoms. Did all you lovely ladies have the same symptoms? Did anyone have none?

@Stace999 im the same as you. I have no embryos left and I did DE. Feeling particularly down today, the devil in my shoulder is talking loud and going my head in. I must think positive positive positive ❤️❤️☺️❤️❤️☺️

Viletta · 04/02/2020 18:43

@Pinkstars2501 crams the day after transfer was a good sign for me with FET. I also had cramps 1-2 days before af time and got a bfp. Was it FET or fresh? Good luck for Thursday!

Viletta · 04/02/2020 18:47

@MrsLouB I think progesterone would affect things irregardless of how administered. I had cramps and burning sensation (as if my lower belly was hot). Last FET I had no cramps whatsoever and got a bfn. Symptom spitting is such a mind bender.. it can be either way and there is really no way of knowing until the test. Preparing myself and planning for both outcomes helped keeping me sane. Good luck!

Stace999 · 04/02/2020 18:54

Thank you @Viletta I assumed with good tested Sperm that we would have decent embryos but I think maybe I was being a bit too optimistic! I'll have a chat with the clinic if it is a BFN see what their thoughts are.
Hi @QuantumGirl thanks for the reply how many embryos did you have? Is it a donor egg and donor sperm or complete donor embryo? Sorry for questions I am looking one step ahead it's an option we may need to consider x

QuantumGirl · 04/02/2020 19:05

@Stace999 we had 6 eggs but only 5 fertilised and one 4AA embryo good enough to transfer. The 4 fertilised eggs left weren't good for freezing. It was DE with DH sperm.
