Anyone in the TWW?

Hi all. I had a 5 day blast transferred om the 26th, going slowly insane in the tww! Anyone else waiting to test? My otd us not til 9th Oct

@Zanny1985 This tww has us analysing every twinge, every tug, every sharp pain. As @mouse1234567 says, hopefully it is your little bean getting all snug in there. Just try not to worry (I'm a fine one to talk though!)

@mouse1234567 This is my first transfer. I did three cycles previously, so I have two 3-day embryos and one blasto chilling on ice. Like you, it this doesn't work, I'll be looking to start my next transfer pretty quickly.

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF Did you say you did a FET?

@mouse1234567 I think after last time I’m just pleased that I’m not waking up worried that I’m not bleeding everyday it was such a worrying time last time so the spotting might not be a good sign this time as it was jist for two days! Who knows trying not to overthink it and keep busy we will find out soon enough x

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF How does it work? Do they give you drugs to stop you ovulating?

Yes so I started buserelin on day 21 of my cycle then a scan is booked for 2weeks after this! Hopefully on that time you will have af by the time scan comes around if so they check your lining is thin! Then will tell you to start taking progynova tabs aswell as the buserelin another scan in a weeks time to see if your lining is thick they will then tell you when et will be and when to stop the buserelin and start the progesterone and carry on with the progynova! Hope that helps

Thanks dear. I had my first cycle in March of this year. Second in July and now on the third one. Not sure if I can afford another cycle if this doesn’t happen

@Zanny1985 you have had a tough year -I have everything crossed for you that it’s third one lucky. I did my egg collection in April but had to do a freeze all. Then have one FET that ended in miscarriage in June now onto second.

I had a strange thing today. I was sleeping and suddenly I had a big O. I mean I woke up and freaked out. Felt so guilty - I mean I have never had these O while sleeping like ever 🤢

So took a test 7dp5dt and it was a bfn so think we are out! We only have a 4bb left so not sure what we are going to do now

@Zanny1985 The same happened to me a couple of nights ago. I had a total anxiety attack and couldn't get back to sleep. My sleep has been terrible in this tww, but I've found the sleep stories in the Calm app really help. You should try them. They help calm me down before I sleep and my sleep is so much better afterwards.

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF sending you a big hug. When it your OTD? It could still be a little early. I read on another thread that FET sometimes takes longer to implant?

I'm still spotting. That's four days now and I'm pretty sure it's AF. I'm going to wait until Friday for my blood test at the clinic to confirm it. I just can't see that this spotting is implantation bleeding 😭

@Zanny1985 that happens to me a few times a year. Very weird!!!

I've been MIA really, hope everyone is doing ok? Today was finally my OTD at 13dp5dt and it's still positive. Got my viability scan on 28th. I'm so nervous of miscarrying but trying very hard to be positive and think positive thoughts.

@HJF84 thanks I had a bfp 6dp5dt on my last fet so would expect to see one by now! Have been having some spotting and it feels very much like af is on the way!

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF sorry I have only just seen your post. I’m so sorry. How are you feeling today? It’s so bloody hard! It could still be too early as I know you had a positive last time but every pregnancy is different I think. But I do understand that you want to take the information and process it and hope can be dangerous.

@HJF84 I am doing the 21 days of calm-tried meditating this morn -could not focus! I also use the sleep meditations on the app going to bed. I’m sorry about the spotting. Friday isn’t long now so you will get your answer soon.

I am feeling very nervous -I’m a teacher and I’m going to leave school as soon as my classes finish this aft and come back and test. Makes me feel so sick -but know I just need to find out and deal with it. School will be a good distraction as it’s always so busy.

Hi all. Just to let you know that I did my test tonight and it came back positive. It’s early days so I’m being sensibly cautious after a chemical on my first go. Thinking of those who haven’t had the news they want and those still waiting. I really hope it all works out for you all.

I’m gutted but dh is taking it worse then me! Bloods are tomorrow but was a bfn this am aswell so I think we have our answer! I am sure tomorrow when o get the call it will break me as this was our last go for at least 18months due to plans next year! We might do another collection as I only have 1 embryo left and on another 18 months I’ll be another 18 months older but we haven’t had a proper talk about it yet! I did say I’d only ever do one full cycle but now o don’t know!

I’m so sorry to hear this was your last chance for 18 months. It must be so hard deciding whether to do another collection or not. It’s all such a financial and emotional stress. Best of luck with everything.

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF Once you have your official result and it's not the result you wanted, maybe you and DH could go out, treat yourselves and have a big heart to heart and decide what you want to do. It's important to live your life whilst all this is going on. If you're worried about being 18 months older, could you do another cycle to get some more frozen embryos? I had three cycles in consecutive months, as I'm 35 and I wanted to get as many eggs as I could, as this is the youngest I'll ever be.

The update from me is that I am still spotting, but it's more tissue now, which can't be good. I'm heading to the clinic tomorrow for a blood test but I'm 95% confident it'll be a no. We did have a lovely anniversary meal and hotel stay though.

@mouse1234567 Thanks, but it wasn't a good result for me. I expected it, but it's still upsetting. I'm going to have a huge G&T and a hot bath, indulge in a little cry and then get back on the train for round number two

@HJF84 I’m so sorry. Like you say it doesn’t matter how much you are expecting it-it’s still a huge shock and grief to work through. A g and t sounds like a very good idea-and a good cry -you have to get it out. Best of luck with the next round.

@mouse1234567 huge congrats to you, how many dpt are you? I'm still very early days too, 5 weeks tomorrow. I'm very nervous but also so thankful to be in this position

I test on Monday guys - I have Awful back ache today and heart burn. Have a go appointment Monday incase it’s a uti- not sure if I feel pregnant as had next to nothing symptom wise minus a few odd days with random pains.

It’s a negative for me aswell. Having a few months off to recover and see what is the next step for us.
