Hi all

Well, I’ve gone ahead and done something silly. I tested at 2dp5dt and it is a stark negative, not even a hint.

I know it’s early (less than 48 hours) but I feel like I’m already out as it’s 7 days before period would be due and all these tests say they have like 99% accuracy 6 days before and all this. Plus all the stuff you read online. Why do I do this to myself?!

On my first cycle (pregnancy, mmc at first scan) I didn’t test until beta and it was torture. But this might turn out to be worse!

Has anyone out there had a bfn at this stage and gone on to have a successful pregnancy? I need some hope!

You have to do what you have to do for peace of mind! I won't get my test results till Monday though so got to get through the weekend with it on my mind. Although I've had 4 miscarriages and an ectopic so I know the drill now. I know I won't be able to feel hopeful about this pregnancy for a while yet x

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted That’s what the nurse said when she called! We only transferred one 🙈 but I guess it could have split into twins? Is that likely? The questions never end lol

Morning ladies so I got 2-3wks on Clearblue Digital today so feeling a tiny bit relieved - I know that they need a urine hcg of 153 to get this reading so my blood level must be higher (I read it can be as much as twice as high in blood compared to urine)

Just waiting to go in for second hcg blood test!

That’s great news! :) I really wouldn’t worry. My Clearblue said 1-2 weeks day before yesterday and then got 400 yesterday, so it shows how it can change overnight.

@eggcellent29 it’s not at my clinic I’ve had one there but they don’t do a 2nd one so i had to find somewhere else!

I’m at work tomorrow so not to bad and I’m so tired I just want to sleep the afternoon away! 😴

So just got my hcg results from Saturday - which would have been 13dp5dt or 18DPO and they've come back at 405 which is a 39 hour doubling time so feeling bit happier!

I've booked in for another one on Thursday

I've booked for Thursday which will be 22DPO if that comes back ok and assuming I move on to 3+ on Clearblue then I won't have anymore as I have a scan next Wednesday and Friday booked anyway x

As I've already had one ruptured ectopic and lost my left tube I'm just really nervous about having another one so wanted to see that I've got "normal" / better than 48hrs doubling time as ectopics have Lower and slower hcg rises (although my hcg was over 5000 when I ruptured at 6+5wks)

Makes sense! When are you doing your next clear blue? I’ve just had to order some so I can do one tomorrow to see if it’s at 2-3!

I was silly and did one this morning - I guess just peace of mind that it wasn't going down (I've also been opening them up to check progression - I know I know - I have completely and irrecoverably lost my bloody mind!)

I always been able to roughly work out when they "should" move up a level so I'm not expecting to get 3+ before Thursday at the earliest

If you don't know the thresholds here they are
1-2 weeks = 25hcg
2-3 weeks = 153hcg
3+ weeks = 2753hcg

But urine hcg can be as much as half that in blood but really depends on your body as with my ectopic blood test was 3500 and I was getting 3+ so that s about 25% difference x

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted Opening them up why what can you see when you do I never have? I think we all have to do what we need to just to get through it!

Thanks for the threshold I guess by now mine should be at the 2-3 mark even though I am scared incase it doesn’t show that!

Loads of people say you shouldn't look at them for progression but they do work the same as any other test and the lines do get darker....on the strip with 2 lines the right one should get darker as it approaches 3+

No real symptoms - the odd sore boobs - but not all the time and a couple of times I've felt a bit "off" but it didn't last long

With my only successful pregnancy I didn't feel anything until 14 weeks and was only sick a couple of times at 14-16 weeks (randomly it was marks and Spencer food hall which used to set me off)

I’m exhausted and my boobs are hurting abit really don’t remember many symptoms with dd but that was 12 years ago and never been pregnant since then so who knows! I do remember there was a certain sandwich shop that I couldn’t stand the smell of use to make me heave! X

That would be a super quick doubling time!

I'm starting to think Create are more conservative on there blood tests than other places 😬

I'm going to test tomorrrow!

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted Yes just it was 476 so was please with that but then makes me think that the clear blue can’t be right as it wouldn’t of gone that high since Sunday surely? But am please with the result!!
