So we're nearly at 1000 posts.... setting this up ready for round 2 when the other is full.

I'm not bad thanks @BumpyRoad84 just waiting for af to start, but no signs yet. All my cramps have eased off, just a bit bloated now. Technically af is due tomorrow. I've already tested @2fingers22018 just a questionable shadow, think it's wishful thinking on my part though.

I've emailed a local lady about reflexology yesterday @squirrelnutkins1 really tempted to try it out. Glad you feel it was useful. I'm sorry you're feeling low today though, hope you're feeling a bit better as the day has gone on 💜

Just do what feels best for u @VenusStarr no af is always gd ur not out yet for this month x

Ive been lookin at last min city breaks with my oh think we re goin to book somethin before augusts nxt appt prob b hard to get away after then with all the scans n everything

@squirrelnutkins1 oh sorry i thought u meant adults only couples type thing. Theres no rest from it all ive got a friends bday meal comin up it will be FULL of kids and talk of my kids are great arent they? Think i might pull a sicky for it aswell but u end up feelin guilty missing things dont u? Theres no winning..especially with more ppl knowing about our ivf now i dnt want to look jealous

@squirrelnutkins1 @2Fingers22018 thank you! Well it was very distressing as they had to get a 2nd person in to confirm! Which took ages as they couldn’t see clearly! They gave me a choice to continue meds and come back for a repeat scan jist in case or stop! So we chose stop as we know there nothing there and I jist want it to end so we can at least move on! There were a few tears but am feeling ok at the moment! Having a holiday to get ready for has definitely taken the edge off for me!

Me and my DP are going to book somewhere to go after Tuesday when we find out when we are starting our IVF. Told my boss today as I didn’t want to have to ring over the summer holidays and talk to him about it and any of the days off I need; turns out him and his wife had ivf for their two boys so we had a good chat and basically said let me know what you needs and il make it happen. So I am so relieved I told him as it makes it all a lot less stressful!!
Not to make you all jealous but last day of term today for me!! So happy haha and already had a hundred boxes of malteasers to get through 😂

Cd1 for me 😔 in a lot of discomfort with painful cramps, so dosed up on cocodamol, ibuprofen and have a heat bag. Since my miscarriage they've been really bad. Had a tiny bit of hope as no signs of af arriving this morning but it came on suddenly at lunchtime. The positive is my cycle length is back to my usual length. Onto a new cycle, this could be the one 🤞 🌈

The ladies tennis was crazy wasn't it! Williams got totally whooped! The men's went on for way too long 🤣

@squirrelnutkins1 yh think we re all busy at the weekends lol im alrite goin away for the weekend to amsterdam we ve been before luved it nice places to eat fun things to do and its a mini cruise so boat trip aswell. I need a distraction from this ivf appt it says the nxt one is an hr and a half anyone else had nhs ivf? id just like a rough idea what theyl b doin/askin..anyway how are u? R u still goin to ur counselling? x

Coming from a very sporty family it’s ingrained in to me so be jumping up and down cheering! Loved the cricket too.
@2fingers - has all our scans etc now and this is our appointment on the protocol and when it’s going to start I think! Hopefully August! It’s a NHS cycle at Nurture :) fantastic place

Hope you all had a good weekend. I'm not brilliant, just plodding on really. Have contacted a local reflexologist who specialises in fertility. She wants me to get a baseline for my ovulation so got to start measuring my bbt again this cycle. We're going to try smep as a last ditch attempt to conceive before my hysteroscopy in August. Starting this week as my cycle is so short, so by next week I'll already be in my tww.

@GreyC i think we re roughly at the same stage i had my 1st appt bloods done sti tests done and got our paperwork. The next appt theyr lookin at my egg reserve and what protocol we will be on. Im just feelin nervous cause it says things like they want to go over how ul cope goin through the process and what ud tell ur child etc after theyr born its nerve wreckin feel like theyr testing us! Lol

@VenusStarr if u feel down and negative thats fine thats what we re here for if u need to vent go ahead its fine x

@2fingers22018 I have my AMH bloods done last week - find out tomorrow in our appointment. I don’t really know what it’s going to be said tomorrow but trying to be positive and visualise everything going right!

@GreyC good luck let us know how u get on im sure itl all be good. Yh i got my AMH bloods done aswell just waitin on the results at the nxt appt. It says on our plan that our nxt appt was for signin consent forms so i think u might b the same and what protocol ur on i dnt go back until the start of august, tryin my best to stay busy lol

Hi to everyone else x Had an argument with a family member today now ive got the biggest knot in my stomach. It was the usual ttc stuff ive had to go on meds n im worried theyr goin to delay my ivf treatment n they were like just think positive and dnt go on the meds i just fot what stupid advice. I get the feeling they think just b more positive and ul get pregnant it hurt my feelings alot tbh. I know im ranting and probably being over sensitive but it took alot for me to open up to them and confide in them and feel like their attitudes just get ivf ul b fine get over it its not a big deal.

I've not booked anything yet. If AF makes an appearance in a couple of weeks then I'll prob book again @VenusStarr

@2fingers22018 we didn't go in the end, well we visited for a day but didn't stay over. Def the right decision. Sorry you've had that crappy thing happen to you. People just do not get it do they ☹️ when do you go to Amsterdam? I'd like to go there. Looks so pretty.

Had some good news today in that my manager is being very supportive about my treatment and has just told me to go to any appointments and I don't need to make any time up (between me and her!) so that's a bit of a weight off my mind xx
