So we're nearly at 1000 posts.... setting this up ready for round 2 when the other is full.

@squirrelnutkins1 yes I’ve read a lot they are not but to go from 3+ to 2-3 and then 1-2 in a week would suggest that I lost it when I had my bleed and the nurse my dh spoke to said it suggests the same so I think my little embie has gone! I’m more upset that they can’t fit me in any earlier for scan to confirm and so I have to continue filling my body with drugs till Friday! Hope your scan goes well! Xx

Well i had my 1st proper appt for ivf yest the nurse was really nice got my sti tests done blood and swabs and some consent forms to fill in. My next appt is to fill in the rest of the consent forms beginning of august so maybe now we can FINALLY make some progress we were told we d need ivf in october so its been a long wait to get this far.

Scan went well. I've got one mature follicle ready to ovulate any time now so I'm pleased with that. They found a couple of cysts which I'm not happy about but hey ho. So we've got to get to dtd from now on for a few days. I said to the nurse, realistically speaking how effective is Letrazole. She said it's normally for people with PCOS so she couldn't really say in my case, but they have had a lot of success stories with it. She said her son was a clomide baby. I'm not getting my hopes up but at least Letrazole seems to be doing its job xx

@squirrelnutkins1 thats great news(obvs not the cysts) but at least u have proof now ur bodies gearin up to ovulate fx for u x..my OH is still down but he seemed happier after the hospital appt how ur OH been?

@Kelly199 @squirrelnutkins1 @2fingers22018 thanks guys I’m feeling ok about it right now think it will be Friday when it hits me I’m upset have to continue the drugs till Friday but I just got to keep trooping on! Will be taking a break for the rest of July and Aug to enjoy my up coming holidays and then will start again in September with another fet! So I will be hanging around but will prob take a break from here next week! Do all the bad things like drink and eat cheese and pate and all that bad stuff and just enjoy my time with my crazy in-laws!

ps: you're right, we're briefed abt not wearing any scents prior to EC or transfer. Something abt intoxicating those delicate little embies!

Had my transfer done yesterday morning. It was more uncomfortable than the previous attempts, but all done within 10mins. I had a good scare in the evening when I saw red. Got in touch with my doc. He said not to worry, it was just the cervix tender after being tugged at in the morning.
Been feeling a little nauseous from the shots last week, and duphaston + ultrogestron now.

I was also on letrozole for the first time this cycle, thought I'd put my experience here in case it'll be useful to anyone. Was on 2 tabs/day days 1-10. No side effects apart from a significantly thinner endometrial lining than usual by day 10. I can't say for sure it was the letrozole but this was the only thing we did differently as the doc wanted to boost my chances this 3rd time.
In the past I wld be past 9mm by then, but this cycle I only measured at 5.2mm. But since completing the 10-day course, the lining thickened fast and got to 13mm on transfer day (cd19).

Nothing much going on for me, waiting for af to arrive, thought she was coming yesterday. I'm wondering if I ovulated slightly later this cycle. I thought it was about 2 weeks ago, around my nan's funeral, so I guess it could have been delayed due to that as I didn't really notice my usual cramps and only had one lib of ewcm on cd11. Time will tell I guess.

Sorry I missed replying your msg. Yes all has bn well thank you.. Was just busy and those daily visits to the clinic were for follicle tracking. I didnt want to rely entirely on trigger shots this time, but instead on transvag scans.

I got bloods taken and based on my hormones theyl decide im short or long but i just feel like i cope better when i have end date/goal in my mind if that makes sense lol💗

My lining was 7.7mm on cd11 on Letrazole. Not sure if that's good or bad but nurse didn't comment on it.

Reflexology was really really relaxing. I fell asleep! She didn't pick up anything fertility wise but loads of other things lol! She was lovely and seemed genuine. I came out feeling really good and positive but I ended up crying myself to sleep and I feel really low today ☹️

@2fingers22018 ask away, hope I can help! It was more so long protocol though I wasn't even sure if that's what he called it My doc explained to me that he prefers to keep meds to a minimal. Stim began on CD1 til 10 (menopur + clomid), triggered cd11, EC cd13. Those 2 weeks went by swiftly. First 2 FETs were natural cycles with luteal support (duphaston, proluton, decapeptyl) beginning in week 3.

Oh @squirrelnutkins1 I'm so sorry you're feeling so low. This ttc biz is such a long haul. I hate how rubbish it makes us feel. I guess I'm just approaching this as mechanically as I can now. I've done everything humanly possible and you have, too! Hope you're being kind to yourself and have got some good ppl you can turn to

7.7mm on cd11 sounds absolutely fine. I was told a min of 7mm by the time of ovulation. The doc told me they have seen successful transfers with thinner linings. Though less common they are not impossible.

@squirrelnutkins1 sorry missed ur post think we both posted at the same time @BumpyRoad84 says thats not too bad for ur lining its gd days and bad days isnt it? I feel happy that ive eventually got the ball rolling but i feel quite scared now its the unknown and feelin totally out of control over your own life and body. I hope you feel better today x @BumpyRoad84 thanks hun im not completed clued up with all the meds and lingo i just know the basics stimulate ovaries take out the egg fertilise it and then transfer. I feel like i should know more but then i keep thinkin maybe ignorance is bliss lol. I wish i knew wether i was long or short protocol tho then i could research it better! Thanks for being soo nice x so when are you back for your blood tests are u excited or stressed?

Thankyou everyone for thinking of me and asking about me! I’m ok focusing on looking forward to my holiday which has kept me busy with sorting things out in preparation! Feeling quite numb about tomorrow as even though I know the out come I think having the scan will set me off! I don’t feel pregnant any more either my tiredness has completely gone and I feel like af is just waiting for me to stop the drugs so I think it will be an emotional week!
Sorry I’m not much use in giving support at the moment to others but sorry to those that are feeling down or struggling remember your all amazing and we will get through it!
Hope everyone else is good and will be reading up while away but probably won’t post so I’ll do a proper catch up when I am back! Xxxxxx

Glad my lining seems ok. Nurse didn't mention anything so assumed that was the case. I had really bad pain in my left ovary last night, don't know if it was ovulation pain or the cysts or something else. Took a couple of paracetamol for it. Hope it was ovulation pain.
