@Kelly199 thank you!!! I actually slept surprisingly well considering now just got to worry about the full bladder! 4.5 hours to go (not that I’m counting 🙈) xx

@Kelly199 they said to get there 20 mins before so about 10past 11 but will prob be there earlier just because of traffic even though hopefully it should be ok by the time we have to leave!

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF yeah better off being there with plenty of time to spare because you'll be rushing and worrying otherwise xx

Eeeekkkkk it’s done! My bladder wasn’t full enough to start with so they did try but it was quite uncomfortable so had to drink some more and wait 10mins which by that time I was dying for a wee bit we got through it and my 4AA blasto is now hopefully getting comfortable! Test day is wed 26th 🙈

I am ok feeling exhausted think I’m just emotionally drained from this morning and am having some cramps but I guess that’s to be expected after fiddling around down there! We have just been out for a nice lunch and have just got back home so am going to put my feet up for a bit and maybe try s snooze but I don’t do well with day time sleeps! We even got a scan picture not that you can see much on it!!

Hope everyone is okay today. So I have a recommendation for some of you...the bug fat negative podcast. Does anyone listen already? Both the presenters have different infertility stories and they talk alot about the different phases of treatment which may be useful to those of you having ivf or icsi.

Spoiler alert so it doesn't trigger you, they are both now pregnant. I do have to limit how often I listen but it is good to pick and choose relevant topics. They also do a lot of myth busting about old wives tales, vitamins, etc.

Don't know how I missed a whole page of more recent comments, but glad it wasn't too traumatic - no weeing on any consultants! Are you off work for a bit? Weather is meant to be fabulous this week if you are (typical brit obsessed with the weather)!

I just got the smiley face on my opk, really loving that I get an idea of how long my cycle is (I would have been expecting af 4 days earlier than it will really be, glad I've saved myself the emotion of thinking I might have got a bfp) but by god does it increase the pressure to dtd! We usually pick a week around the right time and aim for every/every other day and that's rubbish enough, heard some younger lad say trying was the fun bit the other day at work, just about stopped myself from shouting "just you wait and see!" 🙊😒

@CloudSway glad the opks are working for you! So excited for some good weather. We are in my fertile window now. Just got a flashing smiley so expecting ovulation around the weekend. Hoping its earlier as AF due the day we go on holiday and I dont want to be sad! I have been finding the last week or so difficult. I just cant help but feel I am at the beginning of a really long road. Ready for a holiday.

@veeboo I have heard it being mentioned but never got round to actually listening to it!

@cloudsway it was tough I mean you are actually dying for a wee then you’ve got a nurse scanning your belly and they push down quite hard then you got a consultant down the other end and the nurse scanning you is saying relax your bum and breath I’m laying there like if I relax I’m going to wee on the consultant so you relax but stop breathing h then I get told off for not breathing it was actually quite funny not just for me we all had a giggle which is nice!! No I am back to work today think I need to keep busy as already feel like it’s taking for ever and it’s only the day after! Am trying not to get my hopes up but also to be positive! If your cycles are similar each month then maybe just opk for s few months and stop so that it doesn’t feel so pressured that’s what I did! But yay for the smiley face!

Not feeling very well at min. Started feeling a bit rubbish sat night thought hay fever, then Sunday night awake every 2 hours with I think the worst cold/flu I've ever had!! Feeling better today now. I suppose it's giving me something to focus on (getting better) other than just searching everything about tww lol.

@Kelly199 I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. My heart really goes out to you. We lost our beloved 3yr old niece to cancer 3 months ago in between my FETs, so it's been really emotional cycling at this end, too. Keeping you+family in prayer, and hoping for good news from your TWW. Hugs.

@CloudSway Hi, and thanks! :) I smiled when I read your msg about wanting to ask a lot... I felt that way too the first round and did obsessively scour every forum for info. Not sure how much I can help, but ask away! I'm so sorry about your Dad too.. Sigh 16 months is fairly recent. I hope you're getting all the love and support you need. We're here for you anything. Hugs.

Hope everyone is ok today... My cycle should begin Fri.. rushing work and errands in the run up to CD10 when the close monitoring will begin. Fingers crossed this third time's the charm!

@kelly199 afternoon! I’m feeling ok thanks obviously I am wishing the time away to get to test day! The procedure was fine really it’s not painful if your bladders at the right fullness it’s only the holding your wee in that makes it hard work but they show you everything on the scan as they doing it which you can kind of focus on!
Sorry you haven’t been feeling well but least it’s kept you away from dr google! What cycle day are you now?

CD24 8dpo. Such a horrible wait (as you know!). I think I'm waiting for symptoms and disappointed I don't have any, but I know others have said they didn't have any before bfp, so I'm trying to stay positive and it's still fairly early so we'll see!
When did you say your test date is? Xx

@kelly199 can’t remember if I’ve already said so sorry if I have but when I was pregnant with dd I didn’t have any symptoms (I just knew I was pregnant I don’t know what it was I just had a feeling) so your right you might have none and get your bfp my fingers and toes are crossed for you! Test date is the 26th!!
