So we're nearly at 1000 posts.... setting this up ready for round 2 when the other is full.

Morning all!

It’s very quiet on here at the minute! Hope everyone is ok?

So had my scan this morning and everything is looking good lining it 10.3mm and triple layer which she said is great! So I can stop the injections now and tomorrow I start the pessaries! Transfer is being booked for Monday and the clinic will ring me Sunday to let me know what time!! It’s all getting very real!!

I'm ok thank you. Just trying to remain hopeful. Hopefully this cycle will bring me good news 🤞🏼 CD17 1dpo.
It's going to be all go for you from now then!! After transfer, is it like a normal 2ww then? Xx

@Kelly199 I have my fingers crossed for you!! Not sure on how long after I can test will find out next week I think it depends on if it a 5 or 3 day embryo mine will be a 5 day! Need to think how I can keep busy now!!

Do you know the difference between a 3 & 5 day as to why different people have different ones?
I know. Try to keep busy and hopefully the time won't drag so much then! Really hope it'll be good news. So exciting for you to know how close the day is now xx

@Kelly199 it’s just if your embroys made it today 3 or 5! I have both in the freezer but as I have a couple of top quality day 5s it will be one of them that goes back! Xx

How are you feeling @kelly199? Are you in the tww now or ovulating? Good luck to you both.

The spice girls were awesome. My acupuncture is a week Saturday, when I should be ovulating. I might see if they have an earlier appointment too. I think I'm coming out if my bad mood now but think that's just because I'm on CD6 now!

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF I'm probably going to sound really thick now, but now to they know with the day 3s that they're not going to make it to day 5? Assuming day 5s are better quality?? Xx

@veeboo I'm ok thank you. I had positive cb opk on Sunday am so believe I ovulated yesterday so counting today as 1dpo. Going to dtd today and tomorrow just to be sure.

@veeboo nothing!! So hard waiting isn't it?! Just wish I knew either way!!
I've heard that it does wonders!! Hopefully you'll think the same and hopefully it'll improve our chances!! Xx

@Kelly199 sorry for the delay! You don’t sound silly at all! No I don’t think so when they look at them on day 3 they tell you what grade they are and how many cells each have then they just let them get on with it and don’t look till day 5! If I have to use the day 3 Frosties they will defrost and let them grow till day 5 anyway so not sure what the thought was on freezing them early!

So it was nice not having to do an injection if not a bit weird work out I’d done 29 in total for this fet!!! I did my first of many pessaries this morning got to do two a day! Opted for the back entrance (sorry tmi) got less mess so will see how we get on! Another joy of ivf!! Sorry for the tmi!

Does that mean day 3 are always frozen ones? Sorry to ask loads of questions lol.

@Kelly199 no they are not think it depends on individual clinics on wether they do 3 day transfers or 5!! The day is so close I feel sick with nerves already! Didn’t sleep well last night either!!

I know, it's come around so quickly (although I bet it hasn't for you)!!
You're bound to feel that way. Just try and keep yourself busy (I know it's hard though when something is on your mind).

Hi girls. Had a nice few days away in Spain. We had one bad day where we were both really low but we had some good heart to hearts. It was hard seeing all the little happy families 💔☹️ I had a voicemail while away about making a counselling appointment which was way faster than I thought so need to chase that up today.

@greyc good to know what options are available. An old colleague of mine now works at Notts create. They sound a lovely team there.

@veeboo It's so hard when a close friend makes that announcement. I had the same thing last year and baby wasnt at all planned. hugs x so jealous you saw spice girls!

Appointment booked in for 3 weeks time. The booking lady was a bit of a cow so I said to her "you don't need to speak to me like that"! Not a good start to the service but hey ho!

Aww no!! There's always one isn't there?!! You'd think she'd be a bit nicer considering the job she has!! Annoys me so much. Doesn't take much to be nice to people!

I thought exactly the same thing! I could be right on the edge and her little shove could've pushed me over. So annoying. I'm very placid generally speaking but I'm finding myself not the kind of person I like tbh. I wouldn't normally call someone out like that. I did it when we were away as well. Someone bashed into my ankles, not a little bash either and I said "was there a sorry there". I know it's hardly swearing/proper kicking off at someone....but it's not me. I hope with a little help I can get back to a person I like a little more.
