Hi ladies, just wondered if anyone wants to hold hands as we go through a cycle?

After a failed fresh cycle earlier this year, I’m starting my progynova today with a planned FET for May.

Would love some company x

@hoping2018 I really hope it's a positive sign. I've cracked and been and bought a couple of first response test kits. I'm equally terrified by the prospect of twins! But from a back pain pov

I tested yesterday morning which was negative, but it was before I had the pinkness in the afternoon, which I'm hoping was implantation. Guess I should wait a few more days and test again..

@picklesandpetals I find out Friday after scan but one was 17mm and others mostly 10, 11 12 or 13 plus 2 small ones I guess I don’t count those two lol.
Been wanting it all to hurry up but every stage is soooo daunting! So many hurdles! Xx

Thank you, I used the calculator and it said my due date will be the 16th January.
Still can't quite belive we are having a baby so surreal. Have out first scan on 4th June and cant wait to see the little bean.

We will be 40 days then, has anyone had there first scan at 40 days and heard a faint heart beat?

@traciwatto, I’m still finding it hard to believe! I have my first scan next Tuesday, when I should be about 6 weeks. I’m not expecting to see much though, just hopefully confirmation that everything looks ok.

My OTD today and I hardly slept last night so am going to struggle later!

But I got a positive! I was convinced it was negative because the second line took ages to come through and then was so faint I could barely see it at first, but then DH agreed it really was there. I'm not letting myself get too excited till after the scan though as I know it's still early days but have got a secret smile today.

@traciwatto congratulations! Hope the scan goes well. But don't think you'll be able to hear the heartbeat by then - when I was pregnant before the midwife said you couldn't hear it before the 16 week check up and sometimes not even then if the baby not in the right position. But you should be able to see on the ultrasound that all looks okay (maybe they can see that the heart is beating even if it can't yet be heard?)

Hope you are all well. Lovely to see some positive news on here.
Posted a while back, at the beginning of this thread, but unfortunately my second Icsi cycle was cancelled due to a poor response. However, started injecting two weeks after on the same drugs as cycle one and did much better. Yesterday had 8 eggs collected. The collection itself went really well, but just as everything was being taken out I had a big bleed- which took 30 minutes stop. So feeling pretty battered and bruised this morning.
Just had the call to say only 3 eggs fertilised properly, which I'm really disappointed about and worried we might end up with nothing to transfer, let alone freeze.
Was wondering what other people's experience was like regarding fertilisation rates and success.

@rainylake congratulations that's fabulous! Did you test early this cycle at all? I'm loosing hope for myself, another negative this morning 😏 my official test day not til Sunday

@yorkshirelass27 how many follicles did you have, did they collect an egg in everyone? I’m due for EC this wknd if scan tomo goes ok. At the risk of sounding cliched it only takes one goodie :)

I feel like I am out this round too. Lots of bloating and cramping. Feel like AF is coming on

@picklesandpetals no I didn't test early. And when I tested this morning the line was incredibly faint - it got slightly more visible after a few minutes but when it first came through I honestly wasn't sure whether I was imagining it and at first I was completely convinced it was a negative. So I'm pretty sure that if I'd tested even yesterday I'd have got a negative. So don't lose hope until Sunday, because it could just be that the hormone levels aren't high enough to be picked up by the test.

bangsaklove they collected 8 eggs yesterday, 4 fertilised, but only 3 properly. Loads of luck for your scan tomorrow and EC.
PonyPals it was scary. Could feel the blood flow out of me (onto the operating floor)- sorry if tmi. Took 30 gauzes to stop it and a lot of pressure! To be fair the medical staff were brilliant. Just hope it was all worth it. Got everything crossed for a positive outcome for you too.

@Yorkshirelass27 thank you my biggest fear is none will fertilise walking around the office very bloated and sore like a teletubbie today and they’ve not even taken them out yet!
Argh eek bleeding super scary!! Do they know what caused that! X

How scary that would have been for you.

@Yorkshirelass27 that sounds scary! Regards quantities,we had five mature eggs retrieved, all fertilised, one transferred and two hatched blastocysts frozen. The other two would have been considered ok for transfer if they were all we had, but wouldn't survive the freezing and defrost.

One is all you need.

@picklesandpetals try and keep your chin up, you're not out until OTD

@PonyPals that's how I felt before my BFP. I was so convinced it hadn't worked I bet my husband a bottle of gin that it hadn't. Fingers crossed for you.

Ladies, don’t give up hope until your OTD. I had no symptoms at all, but cramping & feeling like AF was on the way. Boobs are naturally big & (thankfully) they haven’t gotten bigger. Still don’t really “feel” pregnant, but all the tests say yes! So, just to say, try & stay positive. 🌟

@bangsaklove, yes, will post an update next week. Hopefully, it all looks good. Good luck with your EC this weekend. 🍀

bangsaklove ugh the bloating is horrible, I feel for you. Not long to go now, hang in there (& drink lots of water!).
PonyPals yes I was awake through it all. Them trying to stop the bleeding was by far the most painful part of it all. Bless him, my DH (who is not a fan of others blood) was with me, so got a good eyeful.
Not sure what caused it other than a blood vessel being caught.
Thanks for that Si1ver, I guess we would all like more embies to make it. I'd be happy if all 3 behave and make it to day 5. However, knowing my luck it might not be that straight forward

Meanest thing about the bloating I look bl00dy pregnant and only recently married so I know what people are thinking...I feel like screaming I’m the opposite of pregnant

Everyone who is past test date did you have any bleeding before OTD? That will be my concern, as usually get spotting anywya due to endo. Would be nice to just at the very least get to the test date you know after going through it all..
