Hi ladies, just wondered if anyone wants to hold hands as we go through a cycle?

After a failed fresh cycle earlier this year, I’m starting my progynova today with a planned FET for May.

Would love some company x

@picklesandpetals trigger shot was fine, exactly the same as the gonal really. I think it takes 36 hours to work so I guess you don't have any side effects for a while. I felt quite nervous doing it though - I guess because this is it now, and whatever state my follicles are in there's nothing more to do. Day off tomorrow then in on Tuesday for egg collection.

Hope everyone was able to relax a bit and enjoy the sunshine.

@Si1ver me too! Good luck. I was awake at 2.30 and again now. I’ve had terrible dreams where every pregnant woman I know says something horrid to me 😂 I hope it all goes well for you xxx

I've had my morning injection already 🤪. Got another scan this morning, then hopefully I'll have a date for ec, if any of them have grown big enough..

Don't worry about the trigger shot. It made me a bit nauseous to start with and that was it. Mine was a pre filled pen, just like the Gonal F, so dead easy to use compared with the cetrotide

SouthernBella try not to get too worried and wait for the OTD, fingers crossed it will be good news.

I had my first shot of Cetrotide last night alongside my usual shot of Gonal. At the risk of feeling some people's wrath, it went well. Managed to mix it and inject it ok. There was no stinging and no bloating yet. Either I'm just lucky or I injected wrong. Off to my 2nd FS scan now so hopefully all is well

@AniSL, I'm pleased the first cetrotide went well!

Egg retrieval done. They got 6 eggs, which is about what to expected with my AMH levels. Transfer will be on Saturday morning.

Si1ver well done! Here's hoping that they grow nice and healthy for you. Hope you're not too sore. Just take it easy for a couple of days.

I'm actually feeling fine. I want to go out for a walk this afternoon and do something. I thought I'd be curled up asleep.

The clinic say that they're going to use ICIS because of the low number of eggs.

Thank you for all of your positive messages, I am now officially in the 2WW club. We’re having a bbq with friends this afternoon, they have a 10 month old and I’ve been told it’s good luck to hug a baby! Can’t hurt hey?! I didn’t get a picture of the embryos but I do have one of the scan they were doing as it went in. I was really scared last night as I woke up at 2.30am with the most excruciating pain, I told the dr and they said it sounded like constipation so nothing to worry about! 😂

@southernbella I’m keeping everything crossed for you that it was just too early and you get happy news later this week.

I hope everyone is doing okay with all their meds, this weather certainly makes everything more bearable xxx

AFM, I haven't tested yet. My OTD is next Tuesday, so still some time to go! I won't be testing early and I'm not even tempted. I'd just rather wait until the day and deal with the result then.

I have just had my second follicle tracking scan . The difference between my original clinic and the new clinic in Harley Street is shocking. The original clinic said 7 follies on left and 5 on right when I had my baseline. Scan today showed 9 on the right, two of which are over 7mm and 11 on left, 5 of which are over 7mm and 2 at 11mm. Endo is 6.6mm in a three layer phase. My clinic said this was perfect. So hopefully will have my trigger on Wednesday

@Si1ver thanks for that, that's reassuring, I shan't be worried about the trigger injection now! 6 eggs is great. How do you feel after? We're doing icis and embyroscope. You relax and enjoy some sun this week

@AniSL good to hear you had positive experience with cetrotide. I reckon you found a sweet spot, mine didn't hurt this morning either! That's quite a bit of a difference!! I'm confused though about the sizes, my clinic won't do trigger until at least 18mm, do they think they will have reached that size by then? We are in sync with trigger and ec I think!

AFM second scan this morning. Follicles grown but only got a potential 4 max and more likely in reality to be 3 given the fourth is the smaller. I'm back Wednesday morning for another scan and they're confident I will trigger Wednesday and have my EC Friday 🤞 it's a fine line between one of them over maturing or the other two not being big enough 😏 I know it only takes 1 but 3 seems like the odds are low, just trying to keep positive

@picklesandpetals yes I think I have been really fortunate with my journey so far, no side effects and no pain either. Will have to wait to see how it progresses. Yes my clinic said 18mm too, they do think 4 of them will reach that on Wednesday but we are out there for 2 weeks so even if they don't, we have time. What clinic are you with?
