Hi ladies, just wondered if anyone wants to hold hands as we go through a cycle?

After a failed fresh cycle earlier this year, I’m starting my progynova today with a planned FET for May.

Would love some company x

Hi again ladies, I’m trying my best to stay positive after a call from the clinic. After collecting 21 eggs yesterday 9 were mature and 7 fertilised. I keep telling myself we only need one but I feel like our chances of success have just dropped massively. On top of that I’m feeling very, very bruised and had to put a tablet up my bottom this morning! I just want to have a sob!

Remember that it's quality not quantity @CiroDiMarzio.

A friend is currently five months pregnant after IVF. She had a single egg fertilised and transferred. One is all it takes.

@Ciro 7/9 fertilising is an excellent rate, hang in there lovely! What matters now is how many of the 7 make it to blastocyst! Fingers & toes crossed for you 🤞

@si1ver I’m so glad it all looks good and you’ve got your action plan. Have you got anything planned for next few days or just chill? Sunshine makes everything better ☀️🙌

Congrats to @Summerloving17 and @SouthernBella74 on being PUPO!

@CiroDiMarzio I'm sorry to hear your numbers have dropped off - I've been there and it's awful because you have a complete high after getting so many eggs. It really isn't a numbers game though and there's no way to know - it's all just a waiting game (as if we hadn't been waiting enough all ready?!) so fingers crossed for you that it's good news for those 7 in the next few days. 7 gives you a great chance though.

I've been pretty uncomfortable and slept til 10 this morning got my first follicle counting scan tomorrow. Meant to go to work afterwards but not sure I'll be up to it atm!

@CiroDiMarzio spare a thought for us older ladies who might only get a couple of eggs!! 21 is a good number. And as everyone has said quality not quantity. Fingers crossed this cycle works for you.

@hoping2018 Me too!! My first follicle counting scan first thing tomorrow morning 🤞. I've been knackered as well. And uncomfortable at night, just can't get comfy. I'm stressing about running out of meds now and bank holiday getting in the way of a re-order. Hopefully won't need any more, has cost a fortune already

Hello everyone

Transfer done so I guess I'm in the PUPO club! It was painful but I think this is unusual as he said the entrance from cervix to uterus is unusually narrow. I got a photo of them! Acupuncture before and after was wonderful! The poor embryos have been fed on birthday cake all day so will try and get back to healthy eating tomorrow. But first birthday without booze or coffee in a long time!!

Ladies I'm feeling so scared tonight, trying to think positively but also this is my 5th round (2nd ivf) and just terrified of another BFN. Not sure I will be able to cope or go through it again. Hopefully will shake it off tomorrow!

@Summerloving17 I can’t imagine how you are feeling as I’ve not had to endure the 2ww yet but think of how far you’ve come, you should be super proud, it takes balls to do this. How about that mindful app someone suggested earlier? I’m going to download it now x sorry not much help but can only say try not to overthink. It would be so nice if we had an off button hey! ;-) x

@Summerloving17, the mantra I repeat every morning & evening is “every positive thought will lead you in the right direction”. You can’t help feeling a little scared, but try to let the feeling come, acknowledge it and let it go. Wishing you peaceful, happy and positive thoughts. 🤗

AFM, been feeling a little tired & bloated today, but have the long weekend to look forward to! 🙌

@happyhedgehog congrats! Must feel great to be post transfer. Hope the 2ww goes as smoothly for you and other ladies as it possibly can. This process is so difficult and I admire those of you going through this for the third or fourth time. I’m not sure I have it in me. Feeling a bit low today and I’ve only had four menopur injections - apparently the easy bit of this whole process 😳 Tmw is my first scan since starting meds. Not sure what to expect if anything at all at this stage.

Good luck to everyone else having scans and good luck @ciro hope you get plenty of blastocyst embies to bring home.

@Cobblestones It's definitely not an easy process, I've definitely had some highs and lows over the last week. Don't think the injections will ever come easy for me. Good luck with scan today 🤞

Hey everyone. Congrats to those in TWW. I just had my first scan and only one follicle on left ovary (12mm) and one on the right (10mm) and another 10 that are too small to count. This is my CD7.
Feeling a bit down. Another scan in 4 days. Hope they grow 😕

@Ponypals, a lot can happen in 4 days. Try not to get discouraged. The most important thing is quality as it only takes one, so try and focus on that. 🙂

Had my scan, feeling hopeful. I've got 4 follicles one side but measuring less than 10 mm. I've got 4 the other side ranging between 10-13 mm. Back Monday for another scan. Hoping they grow lots between now and then 🤞

Has to be said it was a crap experience this morning, rushed in and out, they didn't really want to answer questions, then didn't want to ring and update me this afternoon once they've reviewed my scan and my blood tests. Asked about photos and got a dismissive response of ask the embryologist 🤔 can feel a complaint coming on

@PonyPals Keep positive, I know it's really hard. But it does only take one. I have no idea of the quality of mine yet

@bangsaklove tell me about it. I have such a headache after taking the drugs. What have you been taking that helps? I've been avoiding taking any paracetamol etc

JUSt a quick one as at work! But @picklesandpetals I’m suspicious the headaches are caffeine withdrawal related too, I’m gonna go buy that 4head stuff from boots seeing as we are banned from nurofen!
Sorry to hear about your bad experience, I am nhs in London and so far so good.....

@bangsaklove cool let me know how that goes. I didn't actually have a lot of caffeine anyway. I know mines drug related, it's pretty much instant after injections. Glad your clinic have been good so far.

Clinic are hopeful for an EC either Wednesday or Friday next week depending on Mondays scan 🤞and my estrogen levels are on track

I'm currently relaxing with a wheat sack on my tummy. Been reading it helps follies grow 🤗
