That's very interesting to know.
We are still waiting for the final bill as we added PGS and time lapse in the last cycle.

Liverpool19 · 23/05/2018 17:50

Thanks everyone. I’d be worried if I hadn’t had the scan already but I’m not worrying now as she said everything was looking healthy! I think I’m just going to be one of them people 😂🤷🏼‍♀️
pony how are you feeling?

Hope everyone else is well. Xx

Janefx40 · 23/05/2018 20:54

@Liverpool19 sorry about the blood but glad it's nothing to worry about. Pregnancy seems to throw up all kinds of unexpected things. Hope it stops again soon

X

Hoppy1985 · 23/05/2018 21:47

Hi Ladies

Hope all are well. @Janefx40 I am keeping my fingers crossed your instincts are wrong and all is ok.

@PonyPals glad all ok. I think after my experience now I'm definitely going to worry about the slightest spot of blood.

My question is - to anyone who has suffered a MC, how long after did you get a proper period?

Liverpool19 · 24/05/2018 09:56

hoppy 3 of my friends have misscarried, one got her cycle back straight away had a period 4 weeks later, one was 6 weeks and one was 3 months. It really does depend on your body. How long has it been for you now? Xx

Tigerlily99 · 24/05/2018 10:53

@jamefx40, not sure where you are based but I had a hcg test done in London for £50. I booked it online and it included ‘referral’ plus was a walk in service. Got my results in 2-3 hours even though they advertised that it took longer. I think there are similar things which are offered in other parts of the country too? X

Tigerlily99 · 24/05/2018 11:02

The only problem with that method is that it doesn’t come with a good interpretation- just says pregnant/ not pregnant...

Hoppy1985 · 24/05/2018 11:03

@Liverpool19 it'll be 4 weeks this weekend. I'm normally pretty regular so I am hoping I'll get one relatively soon.

I have a consultation on 6th June about my next round and I'm hoping they say I can pretty much start straight away.

Janefx40 · 24/05/2018 11:46

@Hoppy1985 6th June is pretty soon! Glad this is starting up again so soon

@Tigerlily99 I would need a specific hcg reading but I'd still be interested in knowing the name of the blood test company

PonyPals · 24/05/2018 11:55

@Liverpool19 it never gets easier, does it! Bear
I think I am out this round. All day today I felt so bloated and like AF is coming on.
Hope everyone is going well!!!

Liverpool19 · 24/05/2018 12:00

Fingers crossed hoppy 6th June is soon!
pony that’s a normal feeling! Dont give up hope yet it can mean anything, Ive felt like that a couple of days the past 12 weeks! Xx

PonyPals · 24/05/2018 12:23

Can't belong how far along you are now. Time really flies!
What is your next scan? Are you going to find out the gender?

Janefx40 · 24/05/2018 12:44

@PonyPals it's so hard to tell. I've been convinced it hasn't worked both rounds and been pregnant (in one form or another) both times.

Things looking a bit less rosy for me. I have most definite period cramps now. Boobs deflated completely - not even tender any more or swollen. Just waiting for bleeding to start. Have an early scan tomorrow at the EPU but am convinced it's over this time.

Oh this is a rough old game isn't it!!

PonyPals · 24/05/2018 13:15

Oh @Janefx40 I will be thinking about you tomorrow xxx

Janefx40 · 24/05/2018 13:31

And I'll be thinking about you. Those last few days before testing are so hard. Tuesday isn't so far off now

Xxx

Liverpool19 · 24/05/2018 13:48

Pony I’m 12+3. My scan is on Tuesday. Yeah I’m 100% finding out as I need to be organised 😂
jane I have my fingers crossed for you tomorrow. Xx

swimchick1980 · 24/05/2018 13:55

Good luck tomorrow jane. Thinking of you (and everyone else too).

Hoppy, i had a really long period of bleeding after my MC and then my first AF came around 4 weeks after that initial bleed stopped but it varies a fair bit.

Janefx40 · 24/05/2018 14:45

Thanks @swimchick1980

@Hoppy1985 after my chemical last time, I bled for about 9 days then didn't bleed again for 60. That was unusually long tho (even Drs seemed surprised).

I think there's no way of knowing really what your body will do. So frustrating x

Blondie84 · 24/05/2018 15:12

@ponypals I felt like that too but I think it was down to the cyclogest rather than anything else.

Keeping everything crossed for you @jane X

Hoppy1985 · 24/05/2018 16:13

@Janefx40 keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you. You were convinced this fresh transfer wouldn't work at all and you've got a positive so don't lose hope! If it makes you feel better my boobs still hurt up to a few days after my MC so I don't think you should take them not hurting as a negative sign, it may mean nothing!

@PonyPals thinking of you and keeping my fingers crossed again!

@swimchick1980 @Janefx40
I bled lightly for a week leading up to MC and still relatively heavily for 4-5 days after, then lightly for another week give or take.

Beetroot01 · 24/05/2018 16:45

@Janefx keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx

swimchick1980 · 25/05/2018 12:54

@Janefx40, keeping everything crossed for you today

PonyPals · 25/05/2018 13:02

@Liverpool19 that will be an exciting scan. Looks like Tuesday is a big day for us!
@Blondie84 and @Hoppy1985 thank you. Still no bleeding so I am in with a chance!

swimchick1980 · 25/05/2018 17:17

Keeping everything crossed for you @PonyPals

Janefx40 · 25/05/2018 17:34

Hi ladies. So everything is fine. We saw the fetal, both sacs and the heart beat too. Very lucky and unexpected to see a heart beat so early - we'd been warned not to worry if we couldn't.

I am so relieved but need to get my anxiety under control now. I was so sure this had ended.
